Looking for a cool neighborhood bar and experience old San Antonio? This is your place! Had an awesome time talking to the owner, who was great! Bottled beer and wine only. Only cash but there s an atm. Nice change of pace from the expensive, sometimes pretentious fancy bars

This is a great neighborhood bar. Hidden gem! Cash only and beer and wine only so bring your cash or ATM inside. Super cool owner, pool tables and cozy environment.

The owner is a down to earth guy. This is where I got my drinks for the flambeau parade. The bar has pool tables and plenty of dancing room.

If youre looking for a dark hole in the wall then this is the place. Sal the bartender/owner is a rude and entitled person who shouts at customers. Theres no beer on tap, only bottled beer from the cooler. The jukebox is broken and you have to sweet talk one of the staff to get the playlist, and then theyll turn up the TV louder than the music you payed to listen to.

In the tiniest of places often overlooked, you will find the kindest of people. Thank you Salvador for welcoming 4 concert goers, 2 of which were rowdy ( and fun) and my brother and I. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity along with your stories. I shall return next time I attend a function at the TOBIN CENTER or are in the neighborhood.

This is an awesome bar with a great vibe. Ive been driving by it for years and finally decided to stop in. I will definitely be going back. So glad that Sal was able to reopen.

I gotta go back because when I walked in this afternoon, the only person in there was Sal, the bartender. In this oppressive heat, a cool dark watering hole is what was needed. Only thing was that I still had stuff to do and I could only stay for one beer. When I go back, theres gonna be a more in-depth review.

Owner was great. We were out of towners on a Thursday night, only ones in his bar and he still made us feel welcome. Great prices and a pretty cool atmosphere. So much better than a night club scene. Give him a try!

Sketchy folk there. Popped in after concert close by. Never again without back up. Old men kept staring at my wife and not in a flattering way. Keep away if you are young and clean.
