I love this place and the family that owns it is so sweet and welcoming always smiling. I got their pork belly like always. It is literally dreamy....it makes me salivate thinking about it. It comes with a vinegar sauce and a chili sauce both on the side....I could drink the vinegar sauce. Js. U must try thier porkbelly! It comes with a side of rice too. Kid-friendliness: Yes a great place to eat outside with the kiddos Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access.

We drove for about 49 minutes to try their food. It s worth the long drive. I tried their Pork Lechon Kawali with garlic steamed rice. Wifey tried their pork belly BBQ with steamed rice. We also ordered Lumpiang Shanghai (Meat Egg Roll) and Kikiam as our side dishes. We ordered Halo Halo for dessert. All of the above are delicious. We tried about 90% of Filipino Restaurants in the Metroplex area, but this place beat them all. As to Quality and Value, Chef s Hazel maintained both. This is a Mom and Pop type of Food Truck Pinoy Restaurant. This Friendly and Humble Couple have proven that they can Cooked and Served delicious, excellent quality food. We will try their Catering Menu next time. Take note that they open only on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check their hrs in the FB timeline.

Superb Filipino food in Northern Dallas, very flavorful and delicious. Indeed Authentic! Must try especially the Pork Liempo Pork Belly BBQ (we devoured it instantly), Beef Mami (Our Dad s favorite), Silog Meals, Desserts such as Halo Halo (lots of toppings) and Scramble (brings back memories of my childhood). The Al Fresco dining with the very cute decor makes it so appealing and homey despite dining in Winter season (they have heater provided, can t wait for summertime) and the owner couple are really hospitable and great cooks and they do take good care of their customers very well. They also offer catering services for parties and occasions. Must visit and food must try!

Hazel s Kitchen is a wholesome, excellent spot for Filipino street food. The liempo (pork belly BBQ) is exceptional along with their Halo Halo (traditional desert). My favorite was the ube ice scramble, a sort of ice cream shake with generous amounts of frosting and even some marshmallow toppings. Truly a must-go for any connoisseur of Filipino cuisine.

If youre looking for authentic Filipino food and experience this is the place to be. Food is freshly made. You can feel the Filipino hospitality, Hazel and Julius are extremely gracious hosts, they make you feel that youre family. The place has outdoor seatings and you can hear the cars passing by the road, this brings me back to my childhood days growing up in the Metro Manila. 10 out 5 stars. Vibes, Food, and service is so Filipino. Highly recommended. Take your time not only to eat but also to embrace the whole experience.

Visited here for the first time. This is an adorable little food truck in an unexpected place. It definitely reminded me of those outdoor Filipino restaurants back home in the Philippines with outdoor karaoke. Don t let their modest looks fool you, the food is absolutely delicious! The Lechon Kawali is so crispy, the Dinuguab is rich and savory, the Pork BBQ is so good, and their Halo Halo is the best with actual coconut strips, crispy flakes, leche flan, and ube icecream! The portion sizes are also very good! Julius and Ms Hazel are so friendly and have that amazing Filipino hospitality; they even let us have some dessert samplers to take home. The atmosphere is also very family friendly, I observed people coming in and most were greeted by name and everyone seems to be easy going and sociable. I have tried other Filipino food locations in Plano but I can say that this is my favorite of them all! I have been looking for good Dinuguan which is hard for me to find. I have found my favorite Filipino food fix. I will definitely come back here for multiple visits!

Masarap!!!! My husband and I tried here for the first time for lunch and wow was it delicious! All the flavors brought me back to my moms cooking and all the countless Filipino parties and BBQs Ive been to. I cant wait for my mom to come visit in TX so I can bring her here for a treat! Very friendly staff and even though its hot outside, they have a covered patio with a fan and clean tables. It really made me feel like I could be in the Philippines with the heat haha Salamat Po!!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Hazels Kitchen, a delightful Filipino restaurant nestled in the heart of McKinney, Texas. The experience was nothing short of amazing, as I was treated to a feast of unforgettable flavors and impeccable service. Upon entering Hazels Kitchen, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance, setting the stage for what was to be a truly memorable dining experience. The Lechon, a classic Filipino favorite, was expertly prepared with a crispy, golden skin and juicy, tender meat. The rich, savory flavors were perfectly balanced by the accompanying tangy dipping sauce, making each bite an absolute delight. Next up was the Beef Pares, a soul-warming dish that showcased the perfect marriage of flavors between melt-in-your-mouth beef chunks and a luscious, mildly sweet sauce. The steamed rice served alongside the pares absorbed the sauce beautifully, making for a satisfying and hearty meal. Finally, I couldnt resist indulging in their Halo-Halo for dessert. This vibrant concoction of sweet treats, fruits, and shaved ice was a refreshing and delicious way to end the meal. The medley of textures and flavors came together harmoniously, resulting in a dessert that was both satisfying and light. The staff at Hazels Kitchen were attentive and friendly throughout the meal, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their knowledge of the dishes and their origins added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. In conclusion, Hazels Kitchen is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking authentic Filipino cuisine in McKinney, Texas. The combination of outstanding food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere make it a true culinary gem. Dont miss the opportunity to treat yourself to a taste of the Philippines at Hazels Kitchen!

First time at Hazel s Kitchen. We ordered isaw, fishball, kikiam, inihaw na liempo and halo halo. They all taste so good and similar to the ones I ve had in QC growing up. Their price is very reasonable. Staff is friendly and service is excellent! The halo halo is by far the best I ve had in DFW area. The 20 mile drive to their location is worth it. Will definitely come back!
