There s only 2 private karaoke rooms. Good luck getting a room if u didn t reserve ahead of time. They charge 20% gratuity even if u didn t order anything. They have 1 cushioned seat with no back support and a hard bench with back support.

Was excited to bring our out of town friends here on a recent vacation but when we got there the so called free skee ball games were mostly broken. The paid games weren t accepting dollars and there was no change machine so the only option was to pay 2x as much on a credit or debit card. Super disappointed. Place has really gone down hill since I visited last year.

I want to address a serious issue that occurred during our recent visit for a friend s birthday at this venue. Our group was accused of being responsible for a missing iPhone cord from our karaoke room. While we understand the contract we signed stipulated charges for any missing items, this assumes the item was there to begin with, which was neither shown nor pointed out to us. I fully acknowledge the need for rules, but this should not come at the expense of customer service. I have never experienced anything like this. The manager, Jude, was aggressive and rude, unwilling to have a reasonable conversation. Additionally, the bartender, Tyanie, displayed a terrible attitude throughout the night. Despite never receiving bottle/ drink service to our room, we were still charged 20% gratuity. Our requests to check security cameras in the karaoke room were dismissed. Only three employees Z, RJ, and the bartender Mary treated us with respect, displaying empathy and a willingness to listen. Had we been initially approached with basic courtesy, we would have worked to resolve the issue. Instead, we were forced to pay for the missing cord after the staff, particularly the bartenders, gave contradictory accounts of the situation. The handling of this matter lacked any empathy. We can afford a $50 charge, that s not the problem here, my problem is with the way we were treated by Jude in such a disrespectful and degrading manner. This was by far our worst experience at this establishment and we will never come back again. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere (literally anywhere else) for a night out with friends.

I would never attend this place for karaoke. It s in the middle of a club so you can t hear yourself speak. The waitresses opened the door every 5 mins asking if we were good and it just let the club music in every time. Terrible business plan.

Horrible service while reserving a karaoke room. We spent 2 hours there just to get no service the whole time. On top of that one of the managers, Jude, accused us of stealing an iPhone cord, then proceeded to charge us $50!! They also charged us gratuity of around $25, and for what? Im very disappointed and angry because this occurred on my fiancées birthday and because I liked going here. Sadly after this experience, I will not be back nor recommend any of my friends to do the same.

This is no surprise and it s no surprise that they roofy women. Be careful people! And also racism is at an all time high at this place. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY ARE SCAMMERS! AND WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU DID NOT TAKE! This Sunday, I was celebrating my birthday with my friends and decided to book a karaoke room. Since we arrived, the staff was very rude. Either way, we stayed for karaoke. I signed the policy paper with the manager Jude, asked her questions about it, and was let into the room by Tyanie, where she only handed me 2 microphones and left the room. No one checked in on us the entire 2 hours of our karaoke time nor gave us any service in the room. We have done karaoke here many times before and we always get service in our room. After the 2 hours were up and I was ready to check out, I signed my receipt of $122 ($100 for 2 hours of karaoke and a 20% gratuity fee--which I wasnt told prior about) Suddenly, Jude stopped me and told me there was one cord missing and accused us of stealing it. Why would we take a random cord??? She then wanted to charge me $50 for the cord that was not in the room before we showed up. My friends and I took videos and pictures of the room within the first minutes of being there and there was only ONE cord connected to the TV, not 2 cords as claimed by her. I asked Jude to please check the cameras and we tried to show her the videos and pictures we took, but she kept refusing to check the cameras or see the pictures and videos. The entire time we tried to have a conversation with her calmly, she kept rolling her eyes, raising her voice at us, and calling us names. I stayed polite and understanding the entire time. I never raised my voice with her as Im not a confrontational person, and Jude started becoming so aggressive to the point where I had to call San Antonio PD because I was afraid for my and my friends safety. Jude also told every bartender in the bar to stop talking to us and told them to refuse us service (We witnessed this and one of the bartenders told us she did this). She charged me $50 for the cord + a 20% gratuity fee that we were not informed about prior and didnt agree with because no one gave us service the entirety of our karaoke session. We had to step outside of the room and open a different tab to try and get a drink. And they werent busy or understaffed. The staff also kept changing their stories about the situation: the barback with glasses lied and said he opened the room for me and checked the room beforehand, which was not true at all because Tyanie was the one who walked into the room with me, and there was only one cord. While I am very upset that they charged me $50 for a cord we didnt take, I am even more distraught about how the situation was handled and how we were treated. I ended up in tears and suffered from a panic attack during the ordeal. Jude Hodges is extremely unprofessional and we believe she racially profiled our group through the accusations and comments she was making. They couldve handled the situation a lot better by showing compassion and respect, instead, Jude decided to profile us, harass us, and be extremely aggressive with her behavior when it was not necessary. It breaks my heart that I was treated and degraded so horribly on my birthday, especially when my friends drove hours from out of town to be here and I was highly recommending this place before we showed up. I used to be a regular here and never had any problems before. The only people who at least tried to de-escalate the situation by having a conversation and treating us with respect were Z, RJ, and the nice bartender Mary. However, no one gave us a solution and told us they would check the cameras the next day (Monday). Theres now a new charge on my account instead of the one I initially signed. I never signed a receipt for the new charge of what they accused us of.

Service was horrible. Came with a group of friends specifically to do the Karaoke. No one was in either of the rooms and we were told we had to wait till 11pm for the next availability. When we came back to for a our spot the rooms were given to other people and we were told different stories. The guy that had reserved our spot then retracted his statement saying maybe their was a spot. Manager was completely useless. Very disappointed we waited 2 hrs and to be lied too and nothing could be done. Never coming back or recommending this place.

UPDATE: They gave me a refund, but a refund doesn t make up for the disrespect. Not only that the bartender never apologized. I did file a police report along with other reports as there were several things the establishment did wrong. The amount of women that have reached out saying they had similar experiences + being drugged is scary. This should NOT be your favorite bar. If you say go next door to Camp, then you re giving the same people money. They re both owned by KPGHospitality. They also claimed I escalated the situation, but this man had assaulted my friend and THEN me. They know they re wrong and that claim would not hold up if larger steps are taken. I doubt SAPD will pick up the case, but he assaulted two people where as I pushed him away once. Do better Kung fu. STORYTIME As I was ordering a drink at the bar, someone aggressively smacked my friends a$$ Initially, one of the individuals involved pretended not to speak English, despite having conversed in English earlier. My friend Brianna asked me to translate, and while he apologized, the situation escalated when my a$$ was aggressively slapped. This was not a casual or flirtatious gesture; it was an act of aggression. When I confronted him, he laughed, and I pushed him away in self-defense. To our shock, the bartender TRISTEN, who was in the process of making my drink, proceeded to kick us out of the establishment. This action was taken after one of my friends intervened between us and the individuals who assaulted us. Despite our attempts to explain the situation, we were unjustly removed from the premises. Adding insult to injury, the assailant, who was wearing a white cowboy hat, was escorted out through the back exit but somehow found his way back to the front, endangering us further. He was visibly intoxicated, and two of his friends were holding him up due to his drunken state. It is clear that the individual should not have been served his last drink, especially considering his intoxicated state. Additionally, despite our request for assistance in safely reaching our car, no one offered to escort us. To make matters worse, the man was dangerously close to entering camp 1604, with his friends barely able to hold him up. I had to intervene and stop the bouncer from letting them in. Never have I felt more disrespected and unjustly blamed for such an incident. This experience highlights a blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of women at your establishment. The only one who took time to hear us out was Amir, yet there was nothing he could do. Amir was the only helpful one he deserves to be manager.

I have been coming to kung fu saloon for almost two years, and i have become a regular, and the staff is the sole reason for that. Bartenders such as tristen, adrian, nacho, and many more have treated me with such respect and always create such a fun and safe experience for me when i go out. All the bartenders are very attentive, efficient, and caring when it comes to their customers. When i have company in town, i always take them here because i know i can rely on kung fu to ensure my company has good time, and i know the same will go for anyone else! Other than their typical high volume weekends, they have so many fun events during the week that cater to so many different crowds, and even charity events! 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!

I was here the other night celebrating my friends birthday only to find out one of my college friends was at the bar as well. She wasn t in my group. While my friends and i were celebrating, we literally saw Brianna and her friend get assaulted by some random dude that was obviously drunk. I saw the whole ordeal from across and Brianna didn t even hit Jamie s friend intentionally so idk what s that about. Anyways, the bartender ended up kicking Brianna and her friend out and then the guy was escorted out from the back, idk where he went. Ladies, Do NOT go to @kungfusatx . They are not a female friendly bar. Safety precautions are a solid 0/10 Tonight I attempted to get the attention of a bartender, Tristen, to escort out a belligerently drunk male who had aggressively assaulted me and my friend. When the bartender finally saw the confrontation he proceeded to kickout my friend and I WITH the heavily intoxicated abuser and his intoxicated friends at the same time. They refused to escort us to the car to safety and/or have the abuser arrested. To make it 100% clear for Jaime Estrada, staff, & investigation team, I was DD for my group and not intoxicated. I also don t recommend taking Jaime Estrada seriously, seems like a biased review.

Beware this place. They kept my credit card and license even after I paid. Added a 20% gratuity on a bill for 3 people without informing us. Didn t provide an itemized receipt and the charges were way more then we could have spent. This place is an absolute scam.

So Apparently they wont let you in with any kind of jersey which doesnt make any sense. Dont see a reason how thats a big deal, wasted my time and money just to make a trip over there and to not be let in cause of a jersey is retarded. Was willing to spend a good amount too but guess they only want a certain type of dress code.

Careful!!!!!!! If you split a shot with anyone ANYONE AT ALL they will stop serving you!!!!! I was there on my 25th birthday and someone bought me a shot which I split with my friend and they next time I went to order a beer they told me that I couldn t order and that I was suspended. These bartenders do not know what is going on and will stop you on a celebratory night when you try to share the fun. PS I talked to the manager and they couldn t change the decision after having a clear conversation with me. Highly recommend CAMP 1604 though which is right next door!!!!!

I love coming here! The staff is amazing especially John and Mary. The security, Francisco, always makes sure to let us know to come get him if someone is being disrespectful. Super sweet guy and makes my friends and I always feel like bar is safe. The atmosphere is such a vibe on Fridays and Saturdays, even on Sundays. They have free play and $2 mimosas all day sundays. Definitely should check this place out!!

At first the place seemed like any other with a decent vibe and service. That all changed when I ordered shots and got the tab. Ive never paid more in my life for a tequila shot. And to top it off, a 20% tip was already added to the total. I tried speaking to the bartender but with no luck. Lesson learned. Proceed with caution.

I was debating to write this review for a few weeks now. However as a I got a karaoke room from the server abbey at the end of the night she came by with checks and to my review she added 8 shots onto my ticket because two others friends cards declined. Keep in mind we were a group of ten or more, she never asked anybody if these shots should be added to my card and never asked my friend for permission. This is a fraudulent charge. She should be fired. From here she placed an unauthorized tip on my card. Once again a fraudulent charge and she should be fired. This is a ridiculous establishment and action should be taken against this lady. If no action is taken we can take our own. Figure y all s business out and y all s employees out.

Went for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. The drinks here are overpriced for the amount and quality...1 bottled michelob will cost you about $10. Read the reviews about the games. There are only 2 karaoke rooms but they save this place. No food but food option next door. Bathrooms are clean, bartenders and waitresses were cool. They do enforce their dress code at the door.

Such an amazing experience to relax and be a kid again. Nostalgic games and classic movies running on the screens in the background. Ghostbusters seems to be the hit for this place. Now this place was tight. But once again, no body was dancing until me and my homie who flew out here from Northern Cali got it rocking 2 weeks ago on a Saturday. We dance dance and had the whole place dancing too. DJ was playing a playlist and wasnt DJing DJing but it was Koo. I was ghost riding my truck in the parking lot and everything afterwards lol. If your not going to dance then go to a sports bar.
