This is our first visit with family, and we choose Non Veg Pandhi Mutton/Chicken meal. Unfortunately, We were not completely satisfies with the food or the curries that were served. While this might appeal to others, especially those familiar with Andhra cuisine, it didnt now meet our expectations. Additionally, the cost per person was quite high, and we felt the quality and quantity of the items did not justify the price

We came from Alabama to visit Texas and stopped by Kuppanna for lunch and OMG the food was top notch and 5 star. We had the veg/non-veg on banana leaf and BOY WAS IT GOOD! The staff was very quick in seating you and serving you and very kind and sweet! Highly suggest this place! Being Indian I have tried many Indian restaurants in Texas and for me this has to be NUMBER 1 on the list!!! Felt like I was eating food right in India.

Kuppanna was a welcoming environment, great food, fast service, and just overall amazing community. Had dinner tonight at Kuppanna. It was the worst experience I ever had. Food was completely tasteless. Chicken masala was just boiled chicken dipped in tasteless gravy. Chicken chilli was boiled chicken drenched with tomato ketchup. Mutton was cut into thin pieces in tasteless gravy.

I ordered goat paya and parrota . Extremely disappointed. I assume they took the chicken curry left over and boiled with goat paya piece. The reason i mention left over is because, i found a piece of plastic cover at the size of half palm in the paya. This is garbage. I am extremely pizzed off and lost the trust of this restaurant. Will never go again. Good bye. This has not happened by mistake as i have eaten paya here many times in the past and i regret that i was a frequent visitor. Never come back here to buy cancer. I will attach the proof of my purchase receipt as well for reference. They did charge for paya though

Went in once and i think that would be the only time ill be visiting this place the reason being i stay quite far from plano so i woouldnt be visiting this place if i drive so far. Also i found their menu quite confusing, they should mention what the dish actually is. Just giving names to a dish wouldnt make much sense if you are not aware of it. I ordered mutton biryani and kuska with chicken via Uber Eats. The dishes were drenched in oil, and the chicken wasn t tender. For $18, the portion was ridiculously small, with only one mutton piece and it was mostly bone! I called to inquire, and they admitted it was a mistake. Oil was floating at the bottom, and it left your hands greasy. The curry tasted old, and the chicken was soaked in oil. We ended up throwing everything away. Ill never order from this place again. These biryani spots are a rip-off who knows what kind of oil they use. Stay away!

The food was authentic, Inge saapadu romba arumaiyaga irukindradhu, meendum kudumbathoodu varuvoom. Tried the goat biryani meal. The meat was cooked to perfection and one of the best biryani. The only draw back is chapati which was dry and hard. Either remove the chapati or try the maharashtrian style roti or appam. The kattuvaruval chicken and barota was delicious perfect combination.

Taste is very close to what you usually get in a south indian (specifically Tamilnadu) restaurant. We had mutton biriyani, chicken pallipalayam and chicken kothu parotta. Parotta and Salna is very mild and even kids wil like it. Chicken pallipalayam was way too salty to my taste but they immediately given me another preparation when requested. Service was good but it could be improved. In the hand wash area, no hand wash liquid and the maintenance can be improved. Overall not a disappointing experience to our first visit here.

Best South Indian food in dfw as of now. My husband and I had a veg pandhi meals and a non veg pandhi meals. We loved the authentic South Indian taste. Unlimited prawns was a surprise.
