I went today for lunch. I enjoy eating here very much. The staff are so very nice. Today when I went, Taylor M. was my server. She s very engaging & intelligent! She made the entire experience so much fun! One of my favorite restaurants Parking: A generous amount of handicapped parking. Kid-friendliness: A nice kids menu with several option for any picky kid. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, wide doors, generous spacing between tables.

We truly enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich.. it was perfectly paired with the grilled texas toast.. what a wonderful relationship! It reminded us of a patty melt from our home town in Detroit. The mushroom smothered chicken was awesome too! Thank you Chief Boogey for this wonderful sandwich, we will definitely be back for more!

This was my wife and I first visit. The atmosphere and service was great. Taylor our server was outstanding. She recommended several options for us. My wife had the pineapple burger which she truly enjoyed. The serving with the fries was very filling. I had the wings and butcher block pizza. My pizza was great and very flavorful. . I did have an issue with my wings that I mentioned to Taylor which she without me asking called the manager over . Courtney I believe was the manager s name resolved the issue and was very helpful and concerned. We will definitely come back on our return trip to San Antonio.

This place was phenomenal. Food was out of this world, fresh oak fire cooked food. Tap beer selection was great, local Texas brews, had an electric jellyfish and a fireman s four. Ribs and salmon were wonderful. Son loved his wood fire pizza, and the jalapeño Mac was crazy good. Service and price were excellent too.

It eas 1230 on a Friday my 7yr n I stopped in for lunch n waited n waited n waited for almost 10 minutes as employees looked at us walk by us n just blatantly ignored us even as my 7yr old went to sit at the bar not one employee said a word or even acknowledged us. Ok We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of Lili waiting on us. It was the absolute best experience I have ever had sitting at the bar and Lili was simply amazing. Her interaction with the patrons was awesome. If you are visiting San Antonio and staying close to I-10 at Wurzbach in Western San Antonio this is a must visit!!!

It was our first time and our waitress Samantha was superb in providing us with whatever we needed and explained the menu and went beyond in asking if msg is used on our order and thankfully they didn t used it on the Salmon and the fried potatoes loaded with bacon bits, pepperoni, fried jalapeños and cheese. Wow!!!! My hubby tried the calzone and he loved it. We will come back! The FAB burger was not good at all. The meat looked odd. The burger meat, bacon and cheese had no taste. The bread was too soft; everything was falling apart. The ribs/tender plate had no flavor either. Fries were crispy and good but kind of cold. Overall bad quality food and high prices. Definitely wouldnt recommend this place. First - good luck finding the place if you are from out of town. Excellent service and good prices. My wife got the Bella Pork Chops. The two boneless pork chops were cooked perfectly. The parmesan sauce was very tasty. I unfortunately got the grilled meatloaf. It looked good but it tasted like a hamburger with no seasoning. The grilled type sauce did not save the taste of the meatloaf. Under $50. for two including the 20% tip.

I really like the casual atmosphere, and the service has been great. Im not sure I can point to another place where you can get cuts of meat that taste this good for a better price. Tried Embers for the first time and it did not disappoint! Service was Amazing! We had 2 people attending to us and there was never an empty glass. I found this place on Google when I was trying to find a meetup spot with some friends. At first we thought it was mostly seniors but it started to fill up with a more diverse crowd. We ordered some red wine and the buffalo chicken appetizer. That was really good. We almost ordered another one but had the spinach dip and split a salmon salad. The food is really good! Atmosphere: I like the look & feel of the restaurant. The minute you walk in, youre greeted with the wonderful smell of smoke from wood burning. Service: the young ladys working this evening were awesome. Very patient and attentive. We had a gift card we wanted to use and ended up just shy of the balance. We couldnt leave without a tip so the server had a clever way of setting it up so we could use a debit card to leave a tip. Food: smokehouse burger is on point! Its huge, full of flavor and put together very nicely. The chicken parm on penne pasta is great. The chicken is massive lol you will not leave hungry when you eat here! Overpriced food that tastes better at other locations. Staff is decent, but prone to forget about you for a while. The seating is cramped in certain choke points, so when theyre busy, youre elbowing the other patrons, or almost tripping on them to get out. The first time I went there it was $18 for a pizza I couldve gotten better at Caesars for $8. The second time, I ordered a steak that ended up being $20+, that tasted better over at Dennys. Let me be clear, I dont loathe this place: The food is fine, just mediocre & not worth the price. The service is barely there & usually monotone or with an attitude. The atmosphere is that of a less inviting Chilis. Go there & see for yourself, but when people tell me they want to go there, my first response is, ...Why do you hate me?

Order packed was completely wrong compared to what I ordered. I ordered a burger with no mayo and they ruined the burger by adding mayo. I ordered a chicken fried steak with tots and a baked potato & they did not pack my sides. Would not recommend ordering online. If you do, open the bag and check that you received the correct order before leaving the pick up counter In response to Embers reply: I placed the order online using the Toast option & picked up the order myself. A doordash driver was not involved in this interaction.

Bake potator was better then the ribs which tasted old, not impressed, BBQ sauce help cover the old like left over , stale taste . The waitress was friendly and fast I didnt complain because she was very nice! It was late lunch pretty quiet which was good for me! I truly hope that food is better it being a Thursday? Decided to give it a try. Wow, surprised, really delicious! We had fried pork chops, chicken penne pasta and pulled pork sandwich. Everything was very delicious! The best was the fried pork chops! And the corn was amazing with the smoke flavor! Definitely recommend! Thanks Embers!

Took the wife here for our wedding anniversary. Baily the server was friendly & Knowledgeable. Food is made to order fresh so it does take time to come out but when it does, youll be greatfull for the wait. Environment was claim and cool & ever clean. I highly recommend the bourbon smothered pork chops in the smothered fish. Parking: Lots of open space to park Kid-friendliness: High-chairs are available as well

Service was fantastic even though our server never told us his name. We had a table of 11 and he promptly took our drink order and in minutes we had our drinks. They offer coke products and flavored teas. I had the mango tea. We had also ordered chips and queso for our appetizers. He then took our orders and cleared our table of the large menus. I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon with a loaded baked potato and roasted corn. When the food was ready, it came out hot. I left no crumbs. One of my party members food came out a little late so they offered free desert. We shared a cheesecake with strawberries on top. It was also delicious. We didnt wait on refills or for plates to be cleared after we finished eating. He also asked if we needed to go boxes and brought them to us. We paid, and left. Wonderful service. Great food. Our only strife; it was a cold night and one of the customers kept holding the door open for long periods of time so we kept feeling the draft. Other than that, the atmosphere was cozy, the restaurant was clean and well kept as well as the bathrooms and parking lot. Plenty of parking and wheel chair access.

As far as sports bars and And the general menu, this is a laid back easy going atmosphere. music is not too loud and the food was very good. the Buffalo wings were excellent And I highly recommend the Loaded baked potato. many good things on the menu as well as pizza. The sharable deep fried jalapeno slices appetizer is a large plate but still theyre so good you dont want to share them! Bailey was our waitress server and she is awesome!

This was my first time going here, and it did not disappoint! The young lady who greeted us and sat us down was also our waitress. She was very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and hot, and the atmosphere was good! The menu had lots of choices, and the servings were generous. I would recommend this place for lunch and / or dinner! I came visiting from Houston and I would like to say the food was amazing but the service was outstanding our server Heaven was amazing we ordered the butchers pizza and a margarita pizza with wings and a kids pasta. all were delicious. Heaven went above and beyond for us making sure our food came out on time kept checking up on us to see if we were okay and her attitude was amazing. I would definitely recommend. The pizza was good with the smoke taste, but the meatloaf with fried zucchini was not that great. Too much smoke that not only could you smell it, but also taste it. Meatloaf was a little to mushy and our quest with chips too watery. The atmosphere was ok as there were not alot of customers, but would go back for the pizza and cold beer.

First off, we were seated in a closed section, or at least thats what they told us as to why I had to flag down a waitress to take our drink order after 15 minutes. It then took another 5-10 minutes to get our drinks and the appetizer came out a few minutes later. We were a couple bites into the appetizer, which was not so great stuffed mushrooms, and then our food came out. We had a couple shrimp pasta dishes and I had a pizza. Nothing tasted wood fired, as the menu and name of the restaurant states, and the food was mediocre at best. Ive had better pizza just about anywhere and the shrimp pasta dishes were nothing special. The service was slow which was sad given there was several open tables when we were eating. Needless to say we will not be returning.

I placed an order to go medwell sirloin with loaded baked potatoe with greenbeans, also added half rack of BBQ ribs, grilled shrimp and chocolate cake for dessert. Got home, and the steak was overcooked and dry. The BBQ ribs had no BBQ sauce, and the ice cream to my cake was placed underneath the hot food so it was completely melted. Meal was a total disaster.
