Jasmine Bhatt was my attorney. We worked on a modification case that included a GAL for over a year. I was exhausted and completely emotionally tapped out at times BUT Jasmine was a true God send. Her personal concern and professional acrobatics in the courtroom was unmatched! I have had a lawyer in the past and there s NONE like Jasmine. She was worth EVERY penny. They way she prepares for a plan b, c, and d in the case was thorough and detailed. I was soo impressed with her skillfulness in the courtroom with such a quiet voice but a mighty punch. I HIGHLY recommend her and although I hate to ever have to work with her (bc who wants to go to court lol) I would higher her EVERY time! She was super response, aware of how things in the case was affecting our family and our daughter, while being mindful of our expenses to do so. Sue did the hard things and had the tough conversations. I could go on forever about her. You will NEVER regret hiring her.

Karlee Stoppenhagen was extremely unprofessional and misleading. She stated that she can not give advice but only state what the law says which completely goes against the scope of competency in that of an attorney. She also told me that I need to just get it in my head that I need to accept that I wont get what I want. I will be reporting her to the bar as she was completely unethical while providing advice that put my life and my daughters life at risk.

Overall the lawyers did the best they could with my case. There was a lot of miscommunication on both ends. The 2nd lawyer was better than 1st but also was not as supportive as she could have been in the mediation. I needed the lawyer to stand up for me when the mediator was pressuring me to change my mind on something that I caved in on.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS : I highly recommend using Erica Larson. I reached out to Erica Larson for a case regarding custody. During the consultations everything sounded like it would go great. Shortly after our conversation I sent my retainer and signed an agreement for her to start on my case as I needed to submit a response soon. I then received a welcome letter and a list of contacts for the billing department.. all for which would be added to my first invoice ($74) as it apparently took 40 minutes to send. An additional ($60) would be added to assign the task of sending this email. Another ($130.50) would be added to discuss my case in a meeting that took place before they reached out to me via email to ask for the documents I was served with and if you didn t guess it already, yes I was charged for this email ($18.50) this required another meeting about my case now that they had the documents ($60). Naturally at this point my documents would require reviewing ($150) they reached out to the court to confirm that they had the correct date I was served and no phone calls to get info from the district clerk is not cheap ($55.50) naturally you will be charged for everyone s time that they spent on your case and send out emails. My case took 3 hours for a total of ($590). I highly suggest keeping all of this in mind as these are charges that were made before anything was actually done with my case. After receiving my first invoice with the charges posted to my bank account I decided Erica Larson was too good of a lawyer for me, I could not afford her services. Prior to receiving my invoice I received a draft with an incorrect response to my case. This of course was not filed in fact nothing was filed, but this still had to be paid for as it took valuable billable hours from her team ($55) of course to know that this response was incorrect, she had to confer with her paralegal for ($60) and of course more meetings ($172) . When I received my bill and realized that Erica Larson was too diligent with her billing process I called to say I no longer wanted to use her services. I also learned that my response was still not filed at this time .This costed me ($30) with the addition fees for closing my case ($145.50). I am so happy I had the pleasure of working with Erica Larson and that I could immediately file my own response to my case which was well after it was due to be sent. You should do the same.

Went through a messy divorce and Clare was able to get a good amount of my possessions back including my vital documents like birth certificate and SSN card which he had refused to give back. Divorce is a very difficult situation for anyone regardless of gender, but being self employed, male, in Texas, and doing well complicates it further. Marie remained calm and in control even through the most heated moments. Her mastery of the family law saved me a lot of money and gave me a much needed peace of mind so I could concentrate on my business. Marie lost her father during my divorce. She had every right to lose concentration on my case. I would have forgiven her 100%, but she managed to stay on point and take care of business. Only a true professional could perform this well during a family crisis. If you are in the terrible position of needing representation for family law, I would recommend Marie every time.
