Garcia Art Glass a gem in the San Antonio art scene. On our visit we were treated like the only customer of the day. The open work shop makes easy and accessible to the artist at work. They show and explain their artistries. It is well worth your time to visit and find some great art work to take home.

WOW!!! That is all I can say about Garcia Art Glass! My professional organizations have used Garcia Art Glass on multiple occasions, so they were my first choice to produce a memorial piece in remembrance of my father who passed away. From the design meeting all the way through production, the process was seamless. I shed several tears the evening I went to pick up my piece!! It was absolutely perfect!! I watched an episode on PBS, Craft in America, where Garcia Art Glass was featured. Since I live far from San Antonio, TX, I immediately went to their website. They certainly have beautiful and creative glass pieces. Most importantly, I love the family history behind the business. I will keep them in mind for a special gift. Keep up the good work!

I was recently gifted a gorgeous bowl that Gini had made and I called and asked if they would assist me in attaching it to the wall to be displayed like so many of their pieces are. Nora said to bring it in and they would do that for me....even though I did not purchase if from them myself. They were super helpful and took care of this for me and I got to spend some time with them Ms. Garcia herself. Super nice people!!! How fortunate we are to have such a talented artist here in San Antonio!!

We came to San Antonio for the Dia De Los Muertos celebration and Saturday morning we were standing outside our hotel and across the street we saw beautiful glass sculptures and people creating in their warehouse. It was such a fascinating site. We contemplated walking over but we were chicken, didnt want to bother the people. We went back to our room and I had to look up the place to see what it was. I was too intrigued not too. I saw it was Garcia Art Glass and it opened at 9am! I told our friends about it and they said what I was thinking , Ive always wanted to see how glass art was made! We got ready and headed over. It was so beautiful walking in. Youll wish you could buy everything in their gallery. Its some of the most gorgeous glass Ive ever seen. Captivating. They led us to the back where there is seating. You can watch them make their pieces!!! Everyone was so welcoming and entertaining. We Loved Ezra !! He was so excited and passionate! You can tell everyone Loves the art they are making! What an amazing experience! One I wont forget. Thank You so much for the experience Garcia Art Glass !! Ill be back in December. I have to have one of those Christmas ornaments !!

An amazing experience!!!!!! we were passing by and got curious and i honestly don t regret our curiosity at all!!!!! We came out buying 2 beautiful pieces and 2 more being made for us!!!!! I m upset i can t remember her name, but the lady working there when we got there was the most helpful and sweetest person ever!!!! she gave us the history of the place, she showed us how the pieces are made, and was overall one of the best employees!!!!! such a wonderful place! glad we were able to take a piece of San Antonio with us :,)

I took my niece for her 10th Birthday to the Make Your Own Ornament workshop and the whole team were so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. They took time to explain every step of the glassblowing process to us as we both got to blow our own glass Christmas ornaments. From the staff to the artists, everyone made this a great experience. Awesome experience! It s rare to watch true masters work at their craft, but they make something very difficult look very easy. We had kids 6 to 13 and they were all very engaged the whole time. They were very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. We were afraid it might be a bit warm in the shop, but there was a nice breeze through the shop and they set up fans to make sure we were comfortable. It was a hot July day with blast furnaces going, but we didn t break a sweat. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had such a great time making Christmas ornaments! Garcias showed us how to hold the pole (hot out of the kiln) and roll the starter glass in our selected colors. We rolled the pole while the experts dripped on the molten striping color, and then we blew the air into the glass making the ornament! Then knocked it off the pole and it was transferred to the annealer, and well pick the ornaments early this week. THANK YOU, GARCIAS ART GLASS, for this hands-on opportunity

Showed up at 10 for the 10:15 tour and good thing we did because they had already started. No one checked that we had paid, we just kind of joined the group. Its a tight-knit shop of glass blowers and I get the feeling they dont worry too much about that kind of thing. In any case, the demonstration was awesome. I highly recommend it!

We stumbled into Garcia art on a walk. A demonstration was about to begin and we decided to watch. Watching the artisans take glass from a lump of molted glass to an exquisite vase was amazing. 3 generations work in this lovely space. Stop by, watch and take home some of their fabulous creations.
