VERY beautiful and well kept park. Not too noisy nor were there many people for mid-day Monday. The weather was perfect, which made this park visit with 2 kiddos much more tolerable . They have a small work-out area, plenty of shaded area, and it s RIGHT on the river. Oh! There s a lil pavilion, perfect for larger gatherings and birthday parties, I m sure! We will totally be coming back to this place!

Lots of room to run and play so many different aspects to the playground had my kids so excited about every section they went. I wish they had restrooms that werent portapottys, and they werent so far from the playground aswell.

Was at a birthday party. I like the park cause they keep it very clean and it is very safe for my children. Playground: Playground was damaged but city fixed it. Toilets: Are porta Johns. Would prefer actual restroom, these things are gross. Picnic area: The picnic areas are maintained but could use some upgrades.

This park is also known as the Firefighter Memorial Park. (So it would be nice if Google Maps had that title in their search.) It has a great walking path, beautiful big and fun playground, and a mosaic fire truck. Playground: Great playground Toilets: No restrooms Picnic area: Plenty of seating and picnic areas

the park is wonderful has a few barbecue pits has covered area swings and slides for the kids pretty grass and people need to have more respect, trash was everywhere after easter! I spent 2 hours trying to pick up most of the trash and put by the cans which were already understandably full

This park is absolutely AMAZING!!! We stayed at a hotel right across from a portion of this park, downtown, and there are walkways winding through this park along the river that take you all through downtown San Angelo. There are also great dining and and plenty of hang-out spots along the way.

Great park for the family. Lots of room for the kids to run and play. There is a jungle gym and a old firetruck that the kids can play on. Parking is scarce and might be difficult to get handicap parking. There is a nice trail that wraps around the park that you can walk. A weird downside is this is right next to a bed and breakfast and that might be what limits parking. I recommend coming to check out this park and letting the kids run free.

Nice park with a fair amount of things to do. Cool playground for the kids, the river is stocked with lots of fish. Overall the park is very well kept and the landscaping is beautiful. Theres also paddle boating, mini golf, some workout equipment near the YMCA and as long as its not too hot theres usually a bunch of families hanging out doing family stuff.

I Love what the City has done with it, However it feels like it COULD be SO much more! Hopefully theres plans in the future to make it more like the Riverwalk in San Antonio. I believe That would attract SO much tourism!

Beautiful park beside downtown San Angelo. There s a large playground for children with a toddler area. A huge green space provides lots of room for kids to run or sports teams to practice. There s a physical fitness area with exercise equipment. A large covered gazebo provides shade and picnic tables. There s another picnic area on the northeast corner with charcoal grills and two porta potties nearby. The park is situated between the Concho River and an old historic firehouse. Behind the firehouse is an old fire truck that is covered in mosaic tiles that children are welcome to climb all over which they love! It s a lovely spot and worth a visit.
