We first visited on a Friday night, and I unfortunately did not take pictures of our food (sad face). We sat on the outdoor patio. They had a DJ and dance lights outside. It was a good vibe. The outdoor seating was good and there was a dance floor. Our server was Joanna (shout out to her for being the bees knees). Our food was out quick and looked great. One of our burritos was cold on the inside somehow, but she was quick to take it, and then another man delivered it with many apologies. I ordered the chimichangas and they were great! My son did order the kids cheese enchilada and said it was hard. The kids menu is disappointing. Who goes to a Mexican restaurant in Texas and wants burgers and chicken nuggets? Cheese enchilada was the only option (barf from me). Friday night was a great experience... so much so that we wanted to go back on Saturday for lunch. Saturday lunch was a much different experience. Our server was not warm and inviting. We attempted to order a single taco for our 9-year-old (since theres not one on the kids menu) and were told we could only order the taco meal that came with 3. Its weird that you cant order a single taco at a Mexican restaurant, but okay. I also wanted to order a single chimichanga since the two that came in the meal were too much for me the night before. I was, again, told no, you cant do that. Theres also no lunch menu...so portions are on the bigger side, and theres nothing you can even order thats small. Then, we looked at the receipt. $2.50 for a scoop of sour cream and $2.50 for a pinch of shredded cheese to add is wild. Not to mention, these were asked to be added to our food. So, if I ordered a $12 meal and want a condiment added, its $2.50 for each one. Wild. Our Saturday service and receipt changed our whole outlook. Our server also never came back after our food was delivered. And there were 20 people tops in the restaurant, so there was no reason for it. But Joanna Friday night, shes the best! The queso was wonderful, but also its $7.99 for a very small bowl of cheese. There is nothing in it, just about a cup of straight cheese. The complimentary chips were top-notch. I would go back just for these. The salsa was spicy, though...hence why we HAD to order queso. Overall, the food itself was great. The service was wildly different one day to the next. The menu would benefit from a lunch menu, smaller or single portion options, condiment pricing changes, and a wider kids menu. Also, some parking signs or directions would be nice for newbies. Parking: As guests from out of state, pulling up to the building, parking was slim. From the front of the building, there are 5 or 6 spots only. Across the street there is a strip mall with some parking. I feel like you are not supposed to park there, but theres nowhere else to park. Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere was kid-friendly. The kids menu is quite disappointing. The only mexican food on it is a cheese enchilada. No taco, no quesdailla, nothing. Wheelchair accessibility: Not a ton of room inside for a wheelchair to navigate but it could be done. Getting through the tables inside may be a challenge, but very much do-able with assistance from the restaurant or a helper.

My wife and I ate here and really enjoyed it! The staff was great, especially our waitress Carly(sp?)! The food was nice and hot, temp and spice, and had great flavor as well. The chips and queso were great and the sopapillas were delicious! I just think they needed a little more honey... :) Loved it and well be back.

We arrived at 6p and had to sit outside- 100 degree weather- or wait 30 minutes. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were very good. Another person ordered carnitas and it was not what she expected. It was more like brisket. One person ordered quesabarrias (sp) and they gave them a 7.5 out of 10. A group of guys came outside with alcoholic drinks (maybe waiting for an inside table) and they were smoking and vaping. Im not sure if that is allowed even though we were outside. We could smell the smoke as it was blowing toward us and it was unpleasant as we were eating our food. Parking: Had to park across the street in a parking lot. No available parking onsite. Not enough parking for the restaurant capacity. Kid-friendliness: Very limited kids menu. Would like to see a cheeseburger/hamburger on the menu. They have a Mexican burger but no way would a kid eat that.

Service was good our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal. The salsa and chips were great so we were excited for our meals. We saw people rave about the watermelon margaritas on fb so we had to try. When they came out we were a little disappointed as there was no watermelon garnish- no biggie though. What got us was that it was very clearly a thick overly sweet watermelon syrup making up most of the drink. Neither of us finished the drink as it was too rich for our stomachs. As far as meals go, my husbands was good but the steak was incredibly thin. Think of a typical sirloin you d get at the store and then cut the width in 1/4th. My nachos were ok. I had ordered the nachos- I got roughly 1.5oz of beef on a huge plate of chips. There was too much sour cream and cheese covering it as well. The ground beef had a good flavor and bits of peppers mixed in and the chips were great but the toppings and lack of protein ruined what should have been a good thing. All in all I don t know if we will go back. I d love for a business to stay open in this location but the quality felt similar to that of Rosa s. After tip we walked out hungry, a little nauseated from the drinks and with $65 less in our wallet.

The food was pretty good! I really don t have any complaints about it at all. My kids shared the beef fajita plate and that was really good. I had the plate with a tostada, crunchy taco and some queso enchilada? And that was good. My husband had the bistec ranchero and enjoyed it. The flour tortillas are probably the heb bakery ones, but I don t mind because I buy those too and the horchata didn t taste like horchata to me. It wasn t bad, but I wouldn t get it again. Their limonada was really good though. Overall I d definitely go back.

The service was amazing, the waitress Lilly gets 5 stars, she even gave baby Rae 3 quarters for her piggy bank. We both enjoyed the strawberry margarita and the birra quesabirria was freaking amazing. I got the chicken fajitas toxicas with bacon and chorizo. Rae and I give it 5+ stars. Music was also on point. My tipsy sidekick was dancing all crazy trying to throw gritos. Thank goodness we didnt get kicked out after she almost fell out of her chair. Nap time. Zzzzz Parking: Parking in the back is easiest

First time goer and was very satisfied. Only reason the atmosphere got a 4 was because it was a little loud. If you want quiet, you may not want to go during the rush hrs of the day (lunch or dinner). The food was great. The service was great. You have a choice to eat inside, outside, or bar. Fast and quick service. It was nice for a date night or family dinner. A few birthdays were being celebrated, so they have some room for large parties. I ordered the carnitas and they were delicious. The pork was very well seasoned and very tender. The habanero rice was a nice little surprise. It had just the right amount of kick (spiciness). They hubby had the mixed fajitas. They were very tasty. The steak had the right amount of seasoning and was very tender. We got to taste the pineapple fresh water (aqua), and it was delicious! Everything wad so delicious, i dorgot to get pictures of our plates ...lol! Will definitely be going again and trying something else off the menu! Parking: Parking across from restaurant and in back of restaurant.

Went twice for lunch with a few coworkers, since we work across the street, wanted to try it out. The first time had enchiladas they were okay not bad, I gave them a 6/10. Today I had flautas, they were good 8/10. The atmosphere is nice, it s nice & clean, the outside looks nice, now the service is poor, both times. We waited a long time & then asked if someone was going to wait on us, the first visit. The second visit all of the staff was rude especially the waitress, she was even yelling at another worker rudely, very unprofessional. Both times the staff was very inattentive. This was just my experience, my coworkers would agree with my rating.

I recently dined at Blue Agave and was thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing, with each dish bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. However, what truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Tatiana, our waitress, was phenomenal. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Highly recommend Blue Agave for both the delicious food and outstanding service!
