This is a great Newly remodeled retro hotel. Awesome office and Bar area with swimming pool and cabana s just outside the office also fireplace at the end of the pool. The rooms were very lavish modern design and super nice. The only negative that I had and I travel a lot with work and are starting to see this in a lot of hotels, the thermostats will go down to 62-64. But room temp doesn t go below 68-70. I like it very cold when I m sleeping is was a little warm for me other that it was a great hotel.

My husband and I decided to book this hotel for a much needed getaway and it exceeded our expectations by a long shot! Love how much thought was poured into every detail of the remodel while keeping the fun throwback vibes. We beds were incredibly comfortable, everything was very clean and the overall vibes were spot on for the pool/bar area. Also loved how close it was to things going on in town! Highly recommend if you re just passing through and need a good rest or even for a much needed getaway! We will be back.

The good: room was extremely clean, new remodel, plenty of hot water, clean towels and sheets, beds were comfortable, nice pillows, easy self check-in The bad: very busy intersection, could hear traffic and car stereos and burn outs all night, over priced ($80 hotel, not a $125 hotel), pet deposit was misleading (it s actually a non-refundable pet fee) room was crowded with an unneeded oversized armoire, AC wasn t the greatest but worked. Website harder to navigate than it should be. Overall it was a good experience but we won t be back due to the exaggerated advertising of the bar and pool area, the filtered photos that were used and the price. Rooms: Clean Safety: Seemed like a shady part of town. No one staffing the office after 10pm. Food and drinks: There is a bar with very few selections. Ice is available at the bar by the cup full. Noteworthy details: Geared towards adults.

By far the best place to stay in San Angelo. The suites are lovely and clean. I do wish it smelled better in my room when I arrived, the bathroom had a foul odor from the previous guest, I would prefer to be greeted with a pleasant smell. Other than that everything was perfect, the bartenders are very friendly and make great drinks and the pool area is a nice retreat.

We had the extreme luck to find the Angoria Hotel on our drive home from Colorado. The stay was excellent from start to finish. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and the homemade donuts in the morning. A huge bonus was the absolutely delicious coffee in the morning. Even the toiletries in the bathroom were luxurious. They even had the good crushed ice. All around an amazing stay.

I have NEVER been so disappointed in a motel. I chose this motel because of the 5 star rating and paid nearly 175 for 1 night to do so. First off the room stunk!!! Smelled like the linens were pulled from someones attic, mixed with wet dog. I not wanting to to be a pain simply asked for air freshener which they did come and spray. The hot tub which was another reason to pay the higher price was disgusting and also stank. I still am not one to complain on Google until I get a message that they found a stain on the blanket and charged me 60$. Then told me it was just on the pillow so refunded 50 of that. This was just insult to injury because the entire experience was bad and the amount paid already exceeded the value. Looking over the reviews I come to the conclusion that the supposed highlight is the bar and if you are just wanting to relax and have a goodnights rest this is absolutely not the place!!!

I wasn t quite sure what to expect when booking but I must say I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY with this hotel!! Very modern, welcoming rooms with an on site coffee shop and amazing bar, Janika and Katy were so sweet and kind to me & DEFINITELY deserve a raise !! The pool and lounge were also such nice features that made me just want to extend my stay even longer! I will 1000% be coming back to stay with you guys! an amazing hotel with a warm atmosphere that makes you wanna stay for awhile. Caylee and Kira are absolutely amazing and definitely BOTH deserve a raise!! Very nice bar too with a very knowledgeable bar staff who offer a range of delicious cocktails and mocktails:) I d say their head bartender also DEFINITELY deserves a raise as well! The Nancy Love suite is amazing! Great for couples or even couples with a kiddo. King bed, full kitchen stocked with all cookware, dining ware and the whole gamete of needs. Love the retro-sleek feel of the room as well. The staff are top notch professional and kind. Carter the GM is awesome as well, very helpful and easy to work with for all our needs. Your walking distance from all downtown activity and also have the full bar downstairs to go get drinks at all evening long. Sit poolside with your drink or take a dip in the pool or hot tub for sure! Be sure to visit the upper level lounge/study space to relax and read, listen to music, study, have a drink or just mingle with people, super classy little space up there. Definitely a place I will have out of town guests stay if not staying at my own home. They wont forget this place!

It is the perfect spot for me because it is just up the street from my house and all of the staff members are so friendly and professional. What a great surprise. This small property hides all the good things inside with a somewhat drab exterior. The rooms are modern and clean. The lobby area is great, with a well stocked bar, pool, lounging space and a great staff. I recommend it if you are going to San Angelo.

It is not a hotel, it is a remodeled motel, in a very bad location, where you do not sleep because of the noise and exposure of the rooms. When we returned from dinner there was no parking and they gave us no solution. They charge you the same price as the good hotels in the area and it is not worth it. Safety: The rooms are exposed to a main road.

Better than appears on arrival (old school L-shaped 2-story motel) but not as nice as advertised. Room large, clean, and newly renovated (but shower gel was empty). Bar and bartender were nice but none of the advertised food ( chef is on vacation ). Pool area lovely but pool very small.

This place was one of the cleanest hotels I ve been to, the heating and air worked great! They have brand new Apple TVs, really comfortable sheets blankets and mattresses. Perfect location to get around anywhere in town. Very friendly staff, everyone I spoke to really cared about the quality of my stay and made shire I was taken care of as there guest. Visiting family and needed a place to stay. There were 5-6 Airbnb s to choose from But none of them seemed to be a good choice for us. Angoria had great reviews and fair price. Online booking was easy, check in was great- super friendly staff! We requested a crib by email Before arrival- they didn t have any but got us a new pack and play with sheets! So sweet. Definitely went above and beyond. The bed is amazing, the cleanliness is impeccable, the sheets are soft and pillows great too. This is the cleanest hotel I ve ever stayed at! We appreciate the service and know we will stay here again when we come to visit family. I LOVE this hotel. I came to San Angelo to visit my sister. Angoria is near her apartment, so I chose it based on location. What a pleasant surprise though! The lobby and bar staff are super duper nice. Weve chit chatted with 3 so far, but the only name I caught was Jennica. The staff won me over. But I also really like how the motel is independent and not subject to franchise rules. That means the interior furnishings of the room are much nicer -- the type of furniture and fixtures you see in new construction houses. The layout of the room was nice too. The bathroom was positioned in such a way that the bed area is shielded from its light. The lobby has a bar and coffee shop and upstairs lounge. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub is near an outdoor fireplace. This motel is a really great option amongst the San Angelo hotels/motels.

I had a travel debacle and ended up staying at the Angoria hotel. I was so pleasantly surprised!! The room was modern and the bed so comfortable I almost overslept. So many little details that made me feel at home. The best part was the pool, jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace and cabanas with giant oversized couches! I felt like I was on a tropical vacation. The staff goes above and beyond and food and drinks were great. I go to San Angelo 4-5 times a year and this is my new home away from home. Also, very close to shops and restaurants downtown.

WONDERFUL HOTEL! My husband and I stopped here for a rest off our long road trip. I am so happy that we chose to stay here. If I had known a few days prior that this hotels aesthetic was so neat and upbeat, we would have stayed more than one night! We truly enjoyed the hot tub and drinks from the staff. They made us feel so welcomed and important. I hope we travel through the area again so that we can experience the Angoria Hotel once again! My only complaint was the very loud traffic outside at night. I usually always bring my own noise cancelling plugs but--to my surprise--the staff puts ear plugs in the room too :) Rooms: Clean, chic and worth the price. It was a very last minute booking, and when my GPS started taking me to the location, I remembered the very sketchy motel that it used to be. I was in complete awe at the remodel, how cozy the rooms and amenities were, the friendliness of the staff and the added pool and exterior refurbishing! An amazing addition to San Angelo s hospitality industry, and located so close to downtown that it s become my go-to recommendation to anyone traveling! This place was absolutely fabulous and the rooms were beautiful. It is actually more of a motel layout, but it is intimate, and each room is well appointed. The housekeeping staff does a fabulous job. The bathrooms and all of the fixtures are clearly new and fabulous. One hundred percent recommend anyone to stay here. Definitely.The nicest accommodations in san angelo can not recommend them enough!!! When I stayed at the Angoria Hotel I was very surprised by the ambiance of the place but also how modern but very cozy designs. The bedroom was beautiful with many cool features. I loved the look of everything and believe its aesthetically pleasing. The staff are great and always great you with warmness and a smile. The bar is a great place to kick back and relax before heading off to bed. The location is great because it is close to downtown with bars, restaurants, and shopping. You can walk to the bars and back to the hotel easily as its just right down the street. I highly recommend the Angoria Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. This is an awesome hotel in the middle of San Angelo! It is definitely a place I would stay again!!! The rooms are beautiful, as well as the amenities. The lobby and pool area are inviting and trendy. The location is close to great bars and restaurants, but if you don t plan on leaving the hotel, it has a great bar area to hang out it. I would even visit this place if I was not planning on staying overnight. The staff is great and make you feel welcome. All in all, I would choose this hotel over a big box chain hotel as the prices are comparable but the experience it multiple times better!!!! I m looking forward to my next stay.

We had a great stay and are so excited there is a place like this now available in San Angelo. Thoughtful and beautifully designed rooms, lobby, and pool area make you feel like you are staying in a trendy Austin hotel in the middle of San Angelo. Great location to some fun bars and restaurants. And the staff is amazing!! They have clearly put a lot of love and passion into this hotel and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We stay in San Angelo around 3x a year and now have our go to place!!

We stayed at the Angoria hotel during a production trip to this part of Texas. We had 16 rooms all of them were perfect. Dylan and his wife were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. Thanks so much! We will def stay over when we come back to San Angelo.

Visited this hotel to evaluate it for an upcoming event. It s way beyond anything San Angelo has to offer. Attention to detail is superb. Velvet chairs. Small nooks for private convos. Super cool bar for a vino or cappuccino. Awesome plunge pool, outdoor fireplace, cabanas and then ..the rooms with strong finishes such as subway tile, bistro tables, leather benches, comfy mattresses, and hip armoires ..need I say more? You feel like Austin plopped down a South Congress motel on Beauregard. Stay one night or rent the entire place for a small wedding. The Angoria ..bringing swanky baaaack to River City. (Pardon the goat jokes)

We just love staying at San Angelo s only boutique hotel. This place is swanky and eclectic. and the beds are just incredible. If you re looking for luxury vibes, this hotel has it. Rooms: Very luxurious high-end linens and Tempur-pedic style memory foam mattresses Safety: Very well lit and only blocks away from police stations, fire stations, and government buildings Walkability: This is the only hotel downtown. Noteworthy details: The on-site bar offers handcrafted drinks. And all the finishes are very high-end.
