My boyfriend and I are usually love kung fu noodle and visit quite often however this experience spoiled us from ever returning. Our waitress was very rude and was trying to rush us and only us not even 30 minutes into our meal there was one other table she was waiting on aside from us. She would come to our table about every 5 minutes asking if we want boxes then at one point just brought us the check .As well as during our meal they were doing construction in the kitchen and kept banging loudly to the point it was drowning out music and our conversation.

Ordered a chicken pad tai for my lunch break this afternoon and it came out wonderfully! The Juicy and flavorful chicken paired along with the perfectly cooked thin noodles are a great choice if you re looking to have your belly filled. Great energy from all the servers inside and the sweet manager that served me. Would come again ! 10/10

I love coming here for the ramen. I get the roasted beef ramen and my husband gets Szechuan chicken. They both have the right amount of spice. The homemade noodles are made to order! We also get the steamed dumplings that are so yummy. They give big portions, worth the price. One of the best places in San Angelo for sure!!

This is absolutely the worst food I have ever had. The Japanese tonkatsu ramen tasted like rusty tap water and had zero flavor outside of that. The steamed beef dumplings tastes like Swedish meatballs in play doh. And they were not dumplings as shown in photos on the website. They are potstickers not fresh made either. They are like the ones you buy frozen at Walmart. The noodles in the soup were inconsistent in thickness and tasted like straight flour. Yes, they are flour based noodles, but no they did not taste like normal home made noodles that are flour based. The fried rice was bland. My entire family got sick upon leaving. Our mouths literally have a coating on the inside that taste like pennies. Its horrible! Do NOT eat here. The MSG is way too strong. I only had a few bites as I had to send the soup back and didnt want to order anything else. We are all bloated and feel extremely full despite having barely eaten.

I just want to say I love the food here, and thats the reason it gets a 5 star review, but manager Amy (i think thats her name she wouldnt give it to me) is one of the worst service providers Ive ever experienced in the industry. She was very rude in a few ways. She tried marking up my bill without informing me, and the only reason i found out is because she was harassing my waitress, korynn (i think), for doing absolutely nothing wrong, in my own ear shot. I was baffled shed do that, especially where I can hear it. I then confront her at the front desk about her behavior, and she treats me like garbage! I first kindly ask her to remove the up charge, and more importantly go apologize to the waitress (she never did). She fought me on the few dollars which was whatever, but this was all while feeding me plenty of lies. Told me it was her first day, and then by the end of the conversation it was her last day. And she told me she didnt have a name too. Refused to give me anyway to contact any higher manager. There were a good few extra lies that really drove me the wrong way, but safe to say Id never want to interact with her again or have her be in my restaurant as an owner. Absolutely ridiculous the way she acted and treated people that day. But to end this on a good note the food is fantastic, service is great, atmosphere is pretty nice as well. Highly recommend.

We arrived and were seated quickly. Our server took a while to come take our order. Although the place is beautiful and warm with wood and earth tones our server did not relay that and was not descriptive when asked about the items on the menu. We ordered two soups and beef and pork dumplings. Our soups came out quickly. We each ordered a different cut of noodles. The noodles were plentiful and the broth was really good on the signature beef soup ...not as savory on the chicken noodle soup. We slurped away on noodles soups while watching the chef stretch and knead the dough through the window. That was a neat experience. Our dumplings took a long while to come out. We asked for chop sticks but were told they were out and offered wooden ones. Everyone else after us got real chopsticks to our chagrin. The steamed pot stickers did not have the beautiful folded look I am accustomed to. They were just pinched together. They were ok. Not bad, not the best, but ok. It was an overall good enough experience. We will likely give it another try in the future and update this review when we do.

I was so excited to see a new Chinese restaurant in town. At least new to me. We ordered the sesame chicken, orange chicken, chicken fried rice, cheese wontons, noodles and fried rice. We ordered everything for pick-up. It was beautiful inside, clean and everyone was friendly. The food just wasnt it. The meat all was very overcooked and hat a ton of fat and nasty pieces. The cheese wontons werent bad, but werent that great either. The noodles and fried rice were both good. My husband didnt like anything and the kids said dont get that place again. You dont get a lot of food for the price either. Usually Chinese places always hook it up, but they give kids size portions here. We also didnt get any fortune cookies, but maybe they dont give them out here. I would give them another chance down the road. Maybe the food will improve. Like I said, its beautiful inside, the workers were all very friendly and it was well organized and clean, they just need to work on their food.

This place blew my mind actually. I drove up and their food was pictured in the window so it made me skeptical. The restaurant was overly clean and well maintained. You can watch the cooks cooking behind a glass wall. We ordered pan seared dumplings which were fresh and oh so good! My husband ordered roasted pork rib soup - OMG! He ordered the triangle noodles with it. Delicious!!! I ordered kung pou beef. It was full of flavor and had fresh vegetables with a nice thick broth. I ordered the flat noodles and although they were good, I liked the triangle noodles better as they weren t so sticky. We will certainly be back! If you are looking for great food you won t be disappointed!!! They hand make the noodles with your order and the taste comes through! The portions are shareable and would have fed the two of us!

My partner and I went in for a late lunch and we decided to start off with pan fried beef buns and to be completely honest the buns were the only item that we enjoyed out of everything. They were very soft and crispy on the bottom and the sauce that came with it complimented the buns well. My wife ordered the stir fried combination w the standard noodles, and the beef and chicken were very tender and it had flavor but the noodles just did not suit the plate well, maybe if we had chosen different noodles might ve been different. I ordered the beef noodles soup w the standard noodles and the broth tasted very old, was not at all fresh or even hot to begin with. We did receive our meal very quickly, maybe 5-10 mins after she put in our order and to me was the first clue that let me know we weren t going to enjoy our meal. Once we asked for our check it was about $49.52 and we thought for the food we received and how it tasted was not worth that price at all. We decided that if we were to ever come back it was just to simply order the pan fried buns since it was the only item of food we enjoyed.

Same cheap quality as Dragonlicous for 2x the price! Fried rice was stale, chicken even didn t taste like chicken, etc. Made my husband and I both extremely sick to our stomachs! ++ looking back on my bank transactions they gave themselves a tip on my card! The second dinner came between 10 and 15 minutes later. The third dinner another 5 minutes. Finally, the 4th dinner came out and I said we were not paying for it nor did we want it. The manager said there was a delay because one of the cooks just came in. However, they would not take the dinner off the bill. Common sense would say they were at fault. Beware

Ive always liked going to Kung Fu noodle and have suggested it many times to friends and family for its good and delicious noodles. Better than most restaurants in San Angelo. However, recently after we dined in and were ready to pay we gave them the coupon from the school value cards for one entree to be free. They explained to us that they would not honor it anymore because they have chosen not to and are undergoing a change. Instead they offered a 10% discount that only subtracted $4.95 from the total when the entree was $13.95. The main reason we had gone was because we knew they had delicious food and we were trying to save some money as well. It is slightly disheartening and it will be quite some time before we return again. Other than that the food was great, the waitress was very nice and attentive, and overall good experience.

Bad food nice staff Was served by a polite lady who seemed very busy. Food was not good especially not for price 15 dollar ramen should taste good. Cup ramen would have been better. Had the appetizer octopus balls has tiny amount of octopus and the inside was a gooey mess. Presentation looks good but its a lie. If someone opens a good ramen place in San angelo this place will go out of business.

Ordered the beef stirfry with knife cut noodles and steamed dumplings. I think the knife cut noodles are best in a soup because when I picked up my food and brought it back to work, a 2 minute drive, the whole dish was much drier than most stir fry noodle dishes that ive had in the past. The one thing that caught me very off guard was the cabbage (napa), it was very tart which is an odd flavor for that, so im not sure how fresh it was, but its been 30 minutes since ive finished that dish and the after taste left is quite metallic. The dumplings were as expected, great, no complaints there with those. I have been here once before and it was very good, so I may have to go back a third time try again just to make sure.

When I lived in San Angelo, my roommate and I ate here almost every week. Simply some of the best food in San Angelo. You cannot miss their pan fried buns. I have tried many of their dishes and all are good. Take out and dine in are both very nice and service is quick.

Restaurant is kept clean and seating is maintained well. The cucumber salad was an excellent appetizer to start with, for the main dish I enjoyed my favorite spicy pork rib and traditional noodle soup. The vegetables, herbs, and meat are always delicious and this time it was no disappointment. I enjoyed a thai iced tea for my beverage, and finished with green tea mochi ice cream for dessert. My favorite Chinese restaurant!

Ive gotten to-go items a few times now, but never eaten in. My review is based on the to-go experience. Everything is excessively greasy. Of the Asian food options in San Angelo, I think the only one greasier is Basil. The oil does nothing for the bland flavor and pieces of rice and noodle tend to congeal together if you take your time eating. I havent tried the soups yet, but my hope is for less oil in those. The appetizers, the buns, dumplings, and rolls, are actually very good. Ive almost gotten to the point where Im considering an order of just appetizers, as the entrees have not gone down well. EDIT: Tried again with this place, the chicken fried rice gave me food poisoning.

My husband and I ordered Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen a few weeks ago. The ramen was terrible, taste like dirty water and was served lukewarm, not hot like it should be served. Please remove from the menu, this is not Japanese Ramen.

Way overcooked!!!! Rice was pretty much burnt! flavorless and dry in all other parts not burnt! Scallops are supposed to be soft and tender not chewy! Shrimp with little pressure literally crumbled! 100% do not reccommend the seafood fried rice! The Tai tea was actually very good.

maybe i didn t try the best foods off the menu but i got the stir-fried beef udon and steamed red bean buns and it was definitely not worth it. it was my first time trying it and i thought it was going to be great considering the reviews but i was wrong. it is insanely overpriced for what it is. it was almost $30 for just those two items! i really wanted to like this place but i will not be coming back. i m convinced there s no good food here in angelo aside from chain restaurants.

Love the food recommend the fried pork buns. Tonight was the first time eating there atmosphere was nice, its a small space but doesnt feel cramped. Our only downfall to the experience was my boyfriend and I spent the night passing a fork back and forth because the server never stuck around long enough to ask.

I heard about this place through a mail advertisement a few months ago. The first time I went there, it was a blast. Ive been here serval times afterwards, and the service and food quality was consistently amazing. Probably one of the best Asian food restaurants in San Angelo! I highly recommend the specialty teas they make, the pork buns, the pork ramen, and my personal favorite, the octopus balls! I hope Kung Fu Noodle stays here for many years to come, and becomes a staple of what San Angelo has to offer.

This place is great, meaning you should eat here while you can because San Angelo has the palette of a fat two year old. Beans, rice, cheap paper thin burgers and chicken tenders are about all that survive this accursed town. Get it while you can, boys.

The inside is really pretty but that is the only thing I liked about this place. My boyfriend and I both ordered ramen and two sets of dumplings to share, along with fruit tea. He ordered jelly in his and I ordered boba in mine, and neither drink arrived with anything in them. When our ramen came there were a couple small bugs in mine, so I couldn t eat much after fishing them out. Only one set of dumplings came, the shrimp dumplings. My boyfriend is not one to dislike any kind of dumpling but he tried one and it made him gag and feel sick, so he lost his appetite. The server rarely came to our table and never checked in to see how anything was, so we just decided to ask for the check the next time we could catch him. We asked if he would take off the second set of dumplings because we never received them (even though we felt we shouldn t be paying for anything because there wasn t one thing that came correctly or that we liked), and he just went and got his manager. She came to the table and said they re coming out in a few minutes (mind you this is already after we d gotten our ramen 30 minutes prior, the dumplings come as an appetizer). We said no that s okay, we just want them taken off so we can go, and she insisted that we were getting them. So alas, we waited another 10 minutes for dumplings in a to-go box that we weren t going to eat, just so the manager didn t have to take the price off our receipt. In reality, she should have looked at our table and saw we ate nothing, asked us how it was, and offered a refund. We are not the type to complain but there were just so many problems it left us feeling hungry and disappointed. It felt very greedy of them to have us pay $50 for a meal that was incomplete, had bugs in it, and that we did not eat. A restaurant will not improve if management does not care about the issues that go in in their kitchen. Accountability is important. Most likely will not be returning.
