Very friendly staff! We had Dylan as our server, and he was amazing! Our table had a milkshake spill, and two ladies (whose names I did not catch) were very quick to help us and didn t make us feel like crap for the mess that was made. It was our first time here, and we will definitely be back!

Worse service ever!! We went last night and orders food and the waiter got our orders wrong and we told them and he told us what we wanted him to do about it. And by the time we where over it and wanted to leave so we just ate what we got even know it was wrong and nasty. Call the manager and he really sounded annoyed and didnt want to really help or seem to care much just told me he would look back on the cameras

It was Wednesday date night and we had tried Jakes in the past when it had just opened. The first time our family received bad service by the door staff to the level that we left to another place. This was our third visit so I feel it was time to give the place a review. First, parking is limited due to the design of the area. On a busy night, parking will be at a premium. When you enter, you have to be seated by the host. Its a very spacious sports bar set up. The individual who sat us had a wide open venue yet sat us by the bathroom in front of glass windows with the sun shining right on us. By the time we were done with our meal, the sun was in our face. Our server came by to take our order, her approach was a bit rough for us on date night. We ordered the loaded cheese tots as an appetizer and our drinks arrived. The bathrooms are located in the back on the right side behind the kids game area. The restrooms are clean and well kept. The tater tots had a great flavor with the spicy salsa and cheese. The mother of cashew ordered the chili dog and I had the breakfast burger. This establishment charges you mad money for a side to your burger. As stated, the tots were 4 stars, burger was cooked to order and egg yolk was not hard. The sweet potato fries for 5 bucks were small and came with a candy like dipping sauce. I really dont know if our server was angry, pushy or a bit over but she did come around enough times. I recommend this place for couples but for a family of 5 like us, well pass due to budget reasons. Effective food, good environment and just customer service need a taste of Chick-fil-A Parking: you will need to park far from restaurant

Heard Jake s was a pretty good burger spot that just opened near Wylie stopped by to give it try. We ordered a cheeseburger and turkey burger w/grilled onions. Both burgers were actually really good but wasnt too happy about having to order the fries separately. The sweet potato fries were seasoned with a sweet/cajun flavor but my fries were undercooked I couldn t finish them! It was a very small tray they gave us and since it was sold separately it could ve been a larger portion of fries for almost $5. The drink I ordered didn t taste good. Our server, I believe his name was Enaam was a very nice young man and offered to replace my drink. He gave good service and the atmosphere is very casual & friendly. I used to work at Jake s uptown and we had to come for old sakes and when I tell you the burgers are the exact same I remember them, I mean it. Their poppy seed buns are the best and the main change I noticed were the bottle caps, they re still delicious but I wish they stayed the same but I am biased. they also have these cool hi seltzer drinks that are infused with delta 8 thc and they are so refreshing! Luke was our server and he was attentive, nice and helpful. Also, I forgot to take pics of our visit pre-eating so I uploaded a half eaten hangover burger that was AMAZING. Y all need to try this burger place!

Had someones eyelash in the fried crust of my mushrooms. Everyone else was satisfied with their food so I just sent the mushroom with fake lashes back to the kitchen. Asked for a glass of tea to go and never received it. Parking: Parking lot isnt very big due to several businesses in this location. You may park in back if there is a space open. Plus you must be willing to walk around the building using the Starbucks drive through, no sidewalk provided.

The burgers are pretty darn, rootin tootin fantastic. Even my daughter ordered one, and she doesnt ever order burgers when we go out! (In all fairness, she didnt see anything on the menu she was interested in-- usually soup, which Jakes doesnt serve, unfortunately) Either way, drinks are good and strong, priced relatively decently. Burgers listed do not come with fries(would be nice to have a combo price). The shakes are large, and, at $4.99, seem to be a great value. I do have a negative that I noticed due to the location of my seat. By the door, and some areas at the bar, you have the sun right in your eyeballs at/around dusk. Jakes management: please note this small discomfort for your patrons that can be easily remedied: A shade that can be pulled down at strategic times during the day or even one of those advertisements that can be stuck on the windows that you can also see through. Parking: Parking lot can be packed due to sharing with surrounding businesses

Very disappointed with the bar pricing. I ordered an oreo milkshake and asked to add Baileys or Kahula to it. When I received my bill, I was charged 4.99 for the milkshake and $13 for the Baileys that was added to it. This was not a Baileys milkshake with oreo, this was more of a shot of Baileys added to the oreo shake type of drink. I asked the server to ask the manager why I was charged so much and I was told that they dont have a Baileys drink on the menu so it charges as if its a full drink. My shake cost $17.99 while my friends margaritas was $9 and my burger with add ons was only $11. Next time, Ill just ask for a glass of Baileys and add it as I please, or I can go to another restaurant and order a Mudslide(which has more liquor) for $10 or less.

Ive now been to 6 different Jakes locations. Two of which have closed over the years. This one opened 2 days ago. Arrived about 6pm to eat in. At almost 8pm, we took our ~JUST~ arrived food to go. No organization or proper training for the kitchen staff it seems. Downright the loudest one of them all, had a headache by the time I left. No worthwhile parking to speak of for the restaurant itself Food was good. Will try again in a couple of months to see if they improve service quality ------------------------------------------------ 4/5/24 update Service is much improved. Food was excellent Parking is still lacking. Place was FAR less busy. Hoping that people will start coming back, because as a small chain, they are fully worth it. Parking: Minimal to none. This new location in Sachse is a good spot for a burger. The staff are very nice, but the atmosphere feels a little blank compared to other Jakes locations. The Kickin Chicken Bacon was a unique and delicious starter. There were five pieces, which was more than enough for two-four people. I ordered the Jalapeño Bottles Cap Burger with a side of sweetpotato fries. The burger had little to none jalapeños on it. Your routine burger did not bring any wow factor. The sweet potato fries were perfect and were worth ordering.

This is the fourth time we ve been here. The meat is almost nonexistent on the burgers and frito pie. Every time that we ve been the service has been awful. We gave it the benefit of the doubt at first because they are new but this last visit took the cake. My husband ordered a beer and I had drank 3/4 of my pint before his came to the table. Our food took an 1 full hour before arriving at the table. Funny thing is, it was not busy at all. Half of the restaurant was empty at 7:30 so it wasn t that they were slammed. Doubtful that we ll be back.

Omgosh, dinner plans fell threw because someone...me...Im someone...forgot to thaw out the porkchops...so a last minute scramble sent us to Jakes for a to-go dinner...and omgosh, I may forget again!! The Kicken Chicken fried steak, fries & a side salad hit the spot, oh so good if a tad too spicy for this forgetful girl... I sure hope they can hold that spice next time, and I promise there will be a next time...

My family and I tried this place for the first time last night. We got sat at a booth right away. We ordered non-alcoholic drinks of which a couple had no syrup. Then we ordered dinner. We waited for 45 minutes before the waitress told us that the kitchen stoves turned off. So we waited another 20 minutes before finally getting our food. We all got burgers. They were all flavorless and bland. No seasoning on the patties at all. Worst burgers we ever had!. They could have comped something for how long we had to wait. We had high hopes for this restaurant. Unfortunately, we wont be going back.

Kendra Shier waited our table for lunch, she is the VP of Operations at the Sachse location and she was very curtious and checked on us every 10 minutes. The burgers were great and cooked to our likes. It wasn t crowded at 12:00 on a Tuesday so our hope is they attract more of a crowd at lunchtime.

Room for improvement. My husband ordered the chicken fried bacon cheese burger. He did not like it at all. Our onion rings were not crisp . The onions were super soft, not crispy at all. The batter was flat. My burger was missing something . I cant pinpoint it. Id like to go back and give them another chance. Food is too expensive, ànd wasting your hard earned money on an average burger is just stupid. If I wanted McDonalds, Burger King, or Jack In The Box. Id go there. We are all looking for that fantastic blow your mind burger

This was our first time to visit the Sachse location, but are long time customers of the Grapevine location so were excited to have one open up so much closer to home! We arrived just before 4p which turned out to be shift change. However, we were seated, had our drink order taken and delivered within minutes, and our server was at our table by what felt like 4:02p. We ordered the Chicken Fried Bacon Burger and Jalapeno Bottle Cap Burger as well as a large loaded cheese fries, and onion rings. All of the food was delicious, however, I wouldve preferred whole jalapenos on the loaded cheese fries as opposed to diced, it was just too hard to get them to stay on the fries. The only real issue with the food was the small portion of ranch. Only one small cup was brought out to accompany a large fries and the onion rings...which was simply not enough. lol We did get a second small cup when we asked, which was still not enough, but such is life. Only other issue was that the ranch was, then, removed from the table while one of us still eating, but happened so quickly we didnt even realize it was leaving until it was gone. We also ordered a side of regular fries with one of the burgers that we didnt receive, but we also werent billed for it, so we let it go. Overall, a good experience, lots of seating and no wait.

First time visiting everything was great. Service was awesome, food was delicious and inside was great. Something for adults and kids to watch. Little cramped but can be expected. I have it 4 stars because it s new and needs the rest of time. As many places around here, the only complaint is parking. Very few spots for so many places to eat etc. highly recommend. Loved my experience at Jakes! Our server Alex was very attentive to our table and needs. We had a few things come out wrong from the kitchen but she was able to get those fixed for us very quickly. The restaurant is kind of smaller than most, but they make use of what they have. Will be coming again soon!

Order took forever and when it came out it part of the order was wrong! They sent back the wrong order and told us they would correct promptly, they didnt. Instead of waiting for the corrected order we decided to eat what we had because it was getting cold. We ended up canceling the wrong order and all they did was take it off the bill with an apology. NOTHING ELSE. We will not go back!!! Terrible service!!!

Good food, friendly staff, but they got the order wrong. Ordered the Jake special and it came plane. Missing cheese, lettuce, tomato and dressing. I also ordered a Texas frito chili burger with no fritos, cheese, onions and hickory sauce. They served me what I asked for, just bread, meat and chili except they added the lettuce and tomato missing from the Jake special to the chili burger. Also ordered fried mushrooms, onion rings and frys. All were packed in Styrofoam boxes. The boxes sweat and soak the food in condensation. Killing the crunch. Even though I feel a little cheated, the food is good so Ill probably give this place a second try.
