I ordered off of door dash to try the food for the first time today and was very pleased with the presentation and the flavor of the food. I ordered two kids meals for my Littles and loved the quesadillas and corn cup...the jumex was a bonus I didnt expect but they loved it! My husband is from Mexico so we love to try Mexican foods to see if they meet the authenticity check. Ok first off I had the birria taco plate and it was so yummy...not necessarily the traditional flavorings but it was seasoned so well and it was very yummy... 9/10. Would have gotten 10/10 if there was just a little more cilantro and onion but thats just my personal preference lol. My husband had the birria torta and it was a very nice sized torta...he ate the entire torta in one sitting which is rare for him. Im going to give it a 8/10. Wasnt aware that I needed to order a side for the torta...so used to them coming with fries already...would have opted to add papas had I realized. We ordered the charros frijoles to see how it matched up to mine and his moms...and though it was pretty decent...it wasnt our cup of tea...for someone who has never homemade it themselves this would go over well. 5/10. Last but not least we tried the spicy potatoes. Very interesting and a cool idea for extra side options but it was hit or miss for us...kinda hit with me but missed with the husband...and though I liked it enough to eat a few...its not something I would order again. Ok those are my thoughts all in all...would we eat here again...yes...we would...yummy! Keep up the good eats! Kid-friendliness: Kid portions and selections are good.

The best tacos in the Dallas area and the charro beans are simply the best Ive ever eaten. I highly recommend this place.

The kids quesadilla was the best said my kids, they love the cutie cup of corn and enjoy their juice and the side of fries, also we received a coupons for the next purchase, we definitely gonna come back to play and eat

These street tacos are the real thing, so delicious and bursting with flavor. Plus, the charro beans are the best Ive eaten anywhere in the Dallas area. So, if you want to have a taste of Mexico, get your food from Los Jefes.

I ordered the loaded cheese nachos with DoorDash for $16. When they arrived the nacho plate was a complete joke. There were literally 8 beans on top and a light coating of queso cheese that barely covered the top chips. So after removing those, all thats left is plain bare chips. I decided to bring the food back to the restaurant and talked to the owner. He barely acknowledged my presence when I walked in and after I explained the problem with the food he told me it had the correct amount of 4oz of cheese on it and I should contact DoorDash with the complaint. Horrible food and even worse service.

THEY HAVE THE BEST BIRRIA TACOS AND ELOTES EVERRRR! RUN HERE, DONT WALK. I wouldve posted a picture of my food but I ate it and the plate it came on lol Kid-friendliness: The staff was so kind and friendly to my little kids. I love this place. I eat here 3-4 times a week.
