This morning was amazing driving through the turnpike and seeing this beautiful morning view of the lake. It was a fantastic feeling, cleared my mind watching this view. I highly recommend coming to the lake to clear your mind as well. You won t be disappointed.

Nice place, but not to swim to many fishing hooks and rocks and trash in water .. Rowlett sold off our only swum area off of derock and 30 .

This park is kept clean and a great place for fishing. Toilets: They even have real restrooms I just found that have soap and water, very clean! Port a potties are also available down the road. They re kept clean as well.

I only go hear to catch bait, it never fails. So I would assume if your jigging or looking for smaller game fish......this would be the place. BBQ grills close by with with tables.

It is a very beautiful park with waterfront. It was a pleasing experience to visit this park.It is a great refreshment to visit this park. I think people will like visiting this park with their kids. Rented a covered table for the day. Close to the water. Clean park. Had a great time. Playground: Needs cover. Equipment to hot to touch in mid day. Toilets: Clean. No air conditioning hot inside.

An excellent choice for paddle-boarding kayaking and fishing and fun for the entire Picnic areas and grills are available as well as a few covered spaces (gazebos), but you have to get there early. However, they re plenty of trees for shade.. Parking, may be in short supply, especially on weekends and holidays. Some amenities can be found by the entrance small cove/ramp area. A spectacular way to experience sunrise and sunset! Overall a fun place for fishing, paddle boarding enthusiasts and family picnics.

Nice shady area at the lake. The downside about the area we reserved, is its across the street from homes. Some residents feel as if this part of the lake is an extension of their backyards. However, its a nice space to fish, watch the boats and enjoy all things lake related.

I really like this spot because I have a kayak and it makes it easy for me to launch my kayak here. Plus its known as the Dead Sea area of lake which is perfect for me because its really not the Dead Sea. You just have to know where the fish are.

The only reason why I give this place three stars is because one night me and my kids are just hanging out and the amount of water bugs aka the big cockroaches were just a swarming everywhere there was no way to get away from them but this only happens at night time this place is my favorite place to go at night time and now I cant in the summertime because of how infested it is with the big huge water bugs PS I am extremely afraid of them thats why I feel that way so if you dont feel like that then that is the best place to go and moonbathe play volleyball go swimming etc

We loved this park! We randomly decided to take a walk at the park and found it full of excitement. Benches alongside the lake to sit and fish a small play ground a volleyball net ( the kids wanted to stop and watch the game) park pavilions, table BBQ pits. Ext Lots of Fishing, kayaks, boats and a nice little portion that the kids and adults could get in and swim. IT WAS GREAT YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY STOP BY ON A HOT/ WARM DAY.
