Little hidden gem. If you like authentic Turkish food then try this place out. I went for lunch and it wasnt busy so I got seated right away. The atmosphere is nice and open so I would guess it would be a little loud if it was busy. Server was good and checked on me a few times to make sure everything was OK. The kitchen is also open so depending on where youre seating you can see them cooking the meals. I will definitely come back again. The food was delicious! Some of the best restaurants are the hidden gems. They may not be fancy or in an upscale location but they are serving delicious food.

The Servers were very accomodating they helped me get Yogurt and Tatziki on the side because I wanted to have a healthy meal that wouldn t rise my blood sugar and blood pressure too much. The meat is on the medium rare side I would probably next time prefer to be well done. But the meat was well marinated and pilowy soft. I got the Beef shish menu that had a side of rice and veggies. The veggies were crunchy and flavorful. I will definately bring my husband here next time because it has a romantic atmophere. Also the server helped me find a seat where I could charge my phone!! The extra yogurt made me super full so I didn t have to eat too much of the rice. I also mixed in some of the tomato pepper meze on top of my yogurt which made it extra savory. The prices for the kebabs are good if I didn t have to watch out for my sugar I would have definately gotten the Turkish Flan or Baklava and some tea as well .

I went during the lunch hour and got 2 items, the hummus (10/10) and chicken bayeli (0/10). Id go back for only the hummus which was very affordable at around $6 but not the chicken wrap, The chicken tastes very dry and it was covered in their yogurt sauce which I think was supposed to be Tzatziki sauce but overall it just tastes like a watery yogurt. It also came doused in a red pepper sauce which tasted like a watery Tabasco. Overall a very wet and unappetizing dish, I couldnt even finish it. I went during lunch so maybe the food is better during the dinner service but I dont think Ill be giving it a try. Plenty of other options around with better half-decent Mediterranean food. The atmosphere and service was nice, no complaints about that, very attentive and considerate.

This was our first time trying this restaurant and we enjoyed the experience. We ordered hummus as an appetizer it was very good and fresh. I ordered Lamb Special Shish, every dish had great flavor and taste very fresh. I stopped at the Ephesus for lunch when I was coming back from Tennessee. My first experience was great there. I ordered lahmacun, lentil soup, Adana, pizza, chicken, and k ymal pide. Everything was perfect and price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this Turkish restaurant and I will go back again when I go to Dallas.

The party of 13 had to make a last minute move from another local establishment and Ephesus was happy to accomodate. Must say that this WAS the BEST ENDING to a bad experience any of us could have imagined! Thank you so much! The Family Dinner was incredible! The portions were huge and more than enough for all! I love this place. The food is always great. Service is quick and attentive. Prices are fair. I can recommend a lot of different food, as for the starters humus is great here, the flat bread is guluten free and cooked freshly, delicious and Lahmacun is a must have. I am a fan of Lahmacun, and believe me I can tell. The Lentil soup is another must have. Kebabs are also good, and I love their salads too. I am not a sweets person so I can t say much about them.

Absolutely delicious!! Such a refreshing change of pace. This hidden gem sits within a strip center but upon entering feels welcoming and like higher dining. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. The food was both delicious and beautifully plated. We enjoyed the turkish bread, Chicken & Lamb Shish entrees with rice and vegetables. WOW! This place deserves all of the 5-star reviews! You are immediately welcomed upon arrival. Friendly, accommodating, and informative, the owner and wait staff are wonderful. The restaurant is clean and nicely appointed. But, you come here for the food, and it doesn t disappoint, it is superb. For starter we had the hummus, the best ever. But the star was the Ephesus Special: Adana kebab, Chicken shish, Lamb shish,4 pieces kofte kebab, Eggplant kebab, Lahmacun, Chicken beyti, Onion salad, Rice, and Red cabbage. Aan out of the way Eastern Mediterranean, Turkish, restaurant that was a pleasant surprise. The food is excellent with a lot of attention to how the flavors combine. The feta roll sharpness is perfectly tempered with the tzatziki sauce. Hint, ask for a bit extra, the rolls are made from really strong feta cheese. But they are incredible. We also had hummus and tabouli as appetizers. The hummus is a bit different than the typical Greek. It is a bit smoother both in texture and flavor. As a cute touch there are a few garbanzo beans on top. There was absolutely no aftertaste, which was incredible. It is definitely made fresh. The tabouli was also near perfect. It was loaded with parsley but a bit bland for me. The lemon slice that was on top added the tartness that I love but which might be a bit too much for some. One suggestion to the restaurant, the lemon wedge is a bit too big to squeeze, you might want to cut it to make aqueezing easier. Our main dish was the lamb kabobs. Perfect. We dove in to them before I could take a picture. The restaurant is a bit more elegant than the outside would suggest. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to sit and enjoy a non rushed meal. Still jeans and a tee-shirt atmosphere but a far cry from fast food. In short, we loved it and will be going back.

My goodness so much fun. Its not just lunch its an experience! I had the Babaganoush, the Special salad with chicken, and the Kunefe (please forgive any misspellings). Everything was expertly prepared, the Babaganoush was creamy with eggplant you could see in it, and a perfect splash of olive oil. They brought out a little bread which looked obviously fresh made, with the oven brown spots on the bottom that we all love. The chicken was delicious in a fun salad tossed with raisins, spinach, cucumber, tomato, carrot and a sweet vinegar dressing. I polished it off with a dessert, kunefe, which I have had before at a food festival. This one was made with mozzarella, surrounded by a crunchy shredded wheat, topped with chopped walnuts, and swimming delightfully in a sweet but light syrup. Yum! When I was done with my coffee, the waitress showed me how to traditionally turn over my turkish coffee and wait until it was cold. Then lift up the cup, take a picture and send it to the oracles using an app (convenient) called Falaaddin. How cute, and fun! The atmosphere is very tastefully done, with table cloths and classy decore, although I felt comfortable wearing casual clothes for lunch. This place is absolutely fantastic! We visited on a busy Wednesday night, everything was simply perfect - the food, ambiance, and Turkish music. Despite the crowd, our waitress Duygo took exceptional care of us. She provided us with wonderful recommendations and attentively checked on us, even though she was the only staff member working at the time. Veggie casserole was very good, but $16.00 for one portion is too much in my opinion, Lentil soup was very good a little pricy as well, but its ok, my biggest complaint is falafels are 4 for $8 and they tasted stale not fresh and crispy and also tasted like fish like they grilled them on the same grill without cleaning it. The Turkish Mediterranean-style dishes are delicious. Were in town visiting from Raleigh NC and Ephesus Bristro & Grill caught our eye while traveling from Garland to Baylor Hospital Lakepoint. We have eaten at Ephesus twice this week and are amazed by the food quality, service, atmosphere, and overall dining experience. I cant say enough about Ozzy, he is one of the most hospitable owners we have ever met. My wife and I agreed this is our spot whenever we are back in town You owe it to yourself, Date, family, spouse, or friends to make Ephesus your dining destination as well.

Ill be back for dinner with my wife and Im sure it will be just as amazing as the people. Ozzie and his staff were wonderful and so hospitable. Thats a lost art in ANY industry these days. I sat down and had a glass of wine and charged my phone for a bit. I just needed a quick charge to call my wife back after Ubering and I stopped in and immediately they were so understanding and offered to help. I got a chance to talk to Ozzie and learned about his journey and I cant wait to come back and enjoy dinner with my wife. The dining room is beautiful and inviting and the glass of red I had was great. Im sure dinner will be amazing. Thank you. Parking: Plenty of spaces available

One of the most authentic Turkish restaurants in DFW Ive been to! Such a gem, Rowlett is lucky to have. Service is great, and food is brought out so fast/efficiently and fresh! Bathrooms clean. Ive been watching Hells Kitchen a ton lately, and this place should be an example on how to run a restaurant! First off you get complimentary fresh baked bread with a side of cacik (Turkish tzatziki essentially). Theres sesame seeds on the bread which I loved. We tried the pide (cheesy bread/flatbread) with Turkish sausage! Was super good. Then my husband and I shared the Chefs special beef sauté. He loved it so much he said it was his top 5 best dishes of his life haha. It reminded us of Korean galbi Jim with the cheese on top! Loved the eggplant in it as well. Everything came out piping hot! For dessert I got my favorite Turkish dessert, kazandibi! Its like a burnt crust milk pudding/flan. Nothing else quite like it. So tasty and hard to find, as not a lot of places make it! Overall great experience, and we will be back to try all the other cool dishes! Every time something came out we were like oooh we need to try that next haha

Visited Ephesus for the first time on 10/04/23. Ozzy was our server - quick, friendly and gracious. All of the food was NEXT LEVEL! We ordered the hummus and hamouli cheese for apps. The hummus was smooth, flavorful and tasty, the hamouli cheese was... if youre a cheese lover like me, just try it - I cant describe it. Its amazing!! For dinner we ordered the Chicken Beyti, Lamp Chops and Meatball. My fiances lamp chops smelled and tasted soooo good (and Im not a fan of lamb but dang!). Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Generous portion. The meatballs were HUGE and again, delicious. Love me some Turkish meatballs. Lastly, the Chicken Beyti... WOW! The flavor combinations and presentation were on point. So much so that I kind of want to eat it everyday. Try it - try EVERYTHING! For dessert, we all shared the Chocolate Mousse and Kunefe. I had never heard of Kunefe but was intrigued so, of course, we had to try it. It was hands down one of the best desserts Id ever had. Pro tip... put some ice cream on each bite. It doesnt NEED it but the creamy vanilla takes the dish to new heights. We will be back! Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessible. Tables are tall enough to pull under. No steps or tall thresholds. Cant speak for the restrooms as they werent used.

It was my birthday last Saturday and they surprised me with balloons, which wasn t expected at all. There weren t many people there, but the atmosphere felt so lively! I almost swallowed my tongue. How is this place real? First of all, it s a very tastefully decorated dining room with an open grill where the chefs are working their magic. The staff are quick, friendly and knowledgeable. And then there s the food. EVERY SINGLE ITEM was flawless in execution, perfectly seasoned and generous in portions. The house bread is a fluffy pillow of the fresh bread aroma that you can t stop munching on. There are several lamb preparations (we ordered 4 varieties), all of which deserve a medal. And then there was the liver. It was, hands down, the best liver dish I ve tasted outside of my kitchen. I will come back just for the liver. And the house bread. I m addicted. Thank you, Ephesus.
