This was my 1st visit with Dr. Dixon and I am very happy with the level of service that she and her team provided. Even the ladies in the lab did a great job in providing their services to me. I like Dr. Dixons professionalism and her bedside manner. She listened to all of my concerns, took notes on my medical history to get my referrals ordered, and she answered all of my questions. On another very important note for me, I am so happy to have found a PCP who looks like me! Representation does matter, and it goes a long way for many people. I felt a certain level of comfort, knowing I found an African American woman who is a PCP where they accept my insurance. No one knows just how big of feat that is, unless you have been in a similar situation. Shes like a for me, and Im looking forward to establishing a good repor with her for as long as possible!

I rated a three because the job gets done but the office is not personable at all. The staff, the nurses, even the Dr no one actually tries to get know you. It s an assembly line. If you don t have any questions your appointment will last 5 mins. I ve been there about 5 times in the last couple of months and I doubt anyone there would recognize me if they saw me. Maybe that isn t important to people. I just started going here recently because I moved. I m just used to my old Dr office treating you like a person. Also things fall through the cracks here, you have to call and follow up on things, or at least I have had to multiple times. Just my opinion. But again the job gets done.

I ve been a patient at PCP Texas, seeing Dr. Dickson for about 5 years. Dr Dickson is very accommodating, as is the staff - medical and office staff. I feel I am receiving the appropriate care for my health concerns. Response time on emails is very quick, and so is the turn-around time for refill requests. I plan to continue to see Dr. Dickson as my primary care physician.

I was pleased with my interaction with the front desk staff. Unfortunately, I cant say the same about the clinical staff. My vitals were taken with me sitting on the exam table straining to plant my feet on the step to avoid them from dangling while my blood pressure was being taken. The MA advised that my blood pressure was in the 150s. I advised the MA that I never in my life had a blood pressure reading that high. Fast forward to my experience with the doctor. Already wearing a mask and gloves, she entered the exam room and dryly introduced herself. I also advised the doctor that I had never had a blood pressure reading that high before. She asked me to monitor my blood pressure and said that she would have the MA come and recheck it after the visit. She asked me the dates of my last annual wellness exam and well womens exam. There was no verification or conversation about my past or family medical history. The annual wellness physical exam consisted solely of her listening to my lungs, heart, and abdomen; unlike, that with my previous provider who checked my ears, mouth, lymph nodes, pulses, reflexes, and palpated my abdomen to check for any palpable abnormalities. (I changed providers because of changes in insurance network.) There was no counseling on what I could do to lower my blood pressure. The repeat reading was 140s, which could have been accurate because at this point, I was disappointed with the visit and realized that I would have to find another provider. I was then sent upstairs to have my blood drawn, which consisted of a cholesterol check; yet there was no questioning or consideration on whether or not I was fasting. Fortunately, I anticipated and hoped that they would be able to do labs the same day, so I fasted. I have been monitoring my blood pressure at home since the visit and the highest reading Ive had was 127, which occurred on a morning I was stressed and running 20 minutes late. I was very disappointed; needless to say, I will be looking for another provider. On a positive note, I was happy to see that she did order a detailed panel of labs.

My PCP of 20 years left his practice. My daughter turned me on to Dr Cirilo. I am so relieved to have found her. Everyone in the office is pleasant and helpful. By the was the lab nurse is the best sticker I have ever had blood drawn by, I am quite phobic! Additional comments; I am so relieved I am Dr. Cirilos patient! Since the end of 2023 I have been having major issues with uncontrollable edema, high blood pressure and diabetic problems. She saw me often, changing meds, ordering sonograms, CTs, lots of blood work until she was able to diagnose a very rare, life threatening condition shed never had experience with. She immediately set up a major medical team and is getting everything set up for my surgery. I was at the end of my rope. I am so grateful she dug in to help me, shes giving me my life back.

I found Dr. Dickson of Primary Care Physicians of Texas online as I was searching for a new PCP. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and they sent all the new patient paperwork in advance. The office location was accessible, clean, and modern. The front desk staff were patient, professional, and courteous. Dr. Dickson was wonderful. She quickly built rapport by asking me about my health and actively listening to my responses. She addressed all of my concerns and reassured me that I could expect thoughtful, appropriate, and culturally competent primary care from her and her colleagues. I m thrilled with my choice and looking forward receiving care at this location for years to come.

Although Dr Dickson is a doctor with great listening skills, on Aug 30th, the nurse or whatever her title is, that took me into my room, did not display the same. When she asked how I was, I replied not good today, she replied, that s good I repeated, I said NOT good, she said oh and told me Dr. Dickson would be in shortly. If you (any of you) are not SINCERELY listening to a response so that you may respond correctly, please do NOT ask anyone how they are doing because an incorrect response states in volume that you, as an individual, do NOT care. And being in the healthcare industry, you SHOULD display BETTER listening skills. Always remember, people may not remember your name but they will remember how you made them feel.

The service is subpar. The staff does herd you in and out as a number. The appointment I made back in April was conveniently rescheduled to a np! And rule of thumb if seen by np/pa for first consultation that will be your POC while at the office! I would rather the Dr say they are no longer accepting new patients compared to changing my appointment last minute day of! My appointment otherwise was good the np I saw was awesome.

I was a patient of Dr. Cirilio only seen her one time im also a diabetic i checked my mail and found out she cancelled me as a patient without any warning she is not a good Dr. at all when it comes to good patient care my thing is if you didnt want to be a Dr. and deal with difficult situations dont take a Oath to swear you will do so and then you dont do your job and i think its disgusting for Doctors to get paid a huge salary for not properly taking care of there patients or they dont want to take care of them its really sad now im on the look for another primary care physician i read this about her when i start going to her but did not believe it about her just canceling her patients.This office is something else dont go here if you care about your health.

2nd update: Dr Cirilo has basically changed my life. She is so amazing and listens to every need. She doesnt try to mask the problem. She wants to know know why and gets to the bottom of issue. The staff is still beyond incredible. Renea is always there to help answer any questions. 100 best around! Update: I am still a patient and to this day I always receive the best attention I could ask for. I never feel rushed and Renea (office mgr) always goes above and beyond to help with anything I may need. Dr.Dickson always listens and answers questions when i have them. I have been visiting Dr Dickson and Dr Cirilo for a a couple of years now. Both if these doctors are professional, courteous and compassionate on every visit I have had. The staff is beyond amazing !Renea the office manager especially always responds to my messages quickly. She is always very nice and answers any questions without making me feel like I am bothering her. I know this staff and Drs see tons of people but they never make you feel like they dont have time to care and know your concerns. Extremely happy I found them when I did.

The care Dr. Cirelo gives is always exceptional. She is thorough with all the needs you may be experiencing and is always on target for any other Dr.s you may need to see. I have been going to this clinic since 2019 I have moved to Arlington Texas and I will still go to this clinic. The clinic recently moved to Rockwall and I will still continue to go, my doctor Cirilo is excellent she really talks to you far as I can see she gets to know her patience on a personal level and that makes me very comfortable with her free to talk to her about anything and she takes time to go over your issues and discuss them with you and if there s options, she discuss the options pros and cons very professional and caring. The staff is on top of their game, you don t have long weights like you do at most clinics. They stay true to your appointment time. The staff is friendly and accurate. I m very proud to be blessed with a great doctor and a great clinic and the new clinic is beautiful. Anita

I ve been going to Dr. Cirilo for over 6 years and the office staff has consistently been an issue. More specifically the office manager. They all lack compassion, integrity, communication and honesty. I ve been lied to on many occasions by the entire office staff as recent as today. I was un able to go to my appointment because of them DOUBLING their cash pay prices and not notifying patients. As I m crying and extremely embarrassed in the office I asked if I could pay half today and the rest at a later date. The office manager denied me of my appointment that is extremely important so that I can get medication refilled in order to have feeling in all of my extremities. This office staff is part of the issue with the health care system. It s such a shame because Dr. Cirilo is the best Internist I ve ever been to. If I m not one to leave a Google review but due to the continual issues and how I was treated today I had to.

From the front office to the ladies on the phone awesome. They coordinated my point within a week + when the doctor I was to see had an emergency as a new patient they rebooked with another doctor I did not miss my appointment. Brilliant still is the doctor I meet she is not a prescription or bandage doctor but a root cause doctor I recommend this group to any body. + I have some reject insurance (market place) in rockwall by most practice but they accepted it. God bless them.

I made an appt for my MIL who has aphasia and dementia. Myself and spouse attended the appt as we split time taking care of her. We both needed to provide and hear information. When we arrived, they told us to make sure HIPPA forms were complete for each of us going into the room, which we did. When they called her name, they told us only one person would be allowed in the room! When we tried to explain why we both needed to participate, their answer was to let myself and spouse alternate being in the room effectively doubling the time for the appointment and also making the communication highly inefficient and open to error. When I asked why this was the policy, it was the request of the PA that we were seeing. Also, they do not publish this policy. That s is the dumbest thing I ve ever encountered and we will not be back.
