I had a fantastic experience at this grocery store! The place was incredibly clean and well-organized, making it easy to find everything I needed. The aisles were tidy, and the floors were spotless. The level of discrimination at this store is disgusting. You cant even walk down the aisle in peace without the PA system calling over the store to the service desk(which is the same thing)for security camera scanning.They should wear an earpiece like the secret service if theyre going to watch their customers like theives.At least it wont be noticeable.My husband came in to shop tonight not a peep from their PA system.I came in on Friday .Every aisle I went down they were calling..its ridiculous and so stereotypical..not to mention. I cant even see my first post about theyre discrimination..

I frequent this Tom Thumb weekly and I have for years. I love shopping at this store as the associates are always friendly and the store is well stocked and easy to shop. Im writing a quick review today for Kerrie, in the bakery, who just took a custom cake order... she was great! She offered suggestions to make the cake really special and accommodated a tight time frame. This is one example of why I choose to shop at this Tom Thumb.

Always clean, well-stocked, and friendly employees. Very reasonable return policy. I have encountered a few times when sell prices did not ring up, but as soon as you report it, they will make it right. The sale price issues continues. Employee at customer service says nothing they can do. Its all downloaded from corporate.

On Christmas Eve, management at this store had little regard for his customers. Was there at 6:48, Google Maps clearly states that they re open til 7:00. Needed one item only and would easily have been out of the store before close, but the guy at the door said they closed at 6:30. Liars. There were a number of others on the parking lot who had been turned away also. If I d known they wouldn t honor the times they posted, I could have saved myself a trip.

What is going on with bakery offering? Bagels got smaller and recently fresh bagels not available (jalapeños and cheddar, sesame, ), whole grain pitas, fresh baguettes. We ve been regularly buying fresh bakery products during every weekend and are very disappointed now.

New front end manager is extremely rude. I asked to get my 10% discount for wearing Cowboys gear and she refused. She gave me some excuse about that staff at this location has been doing a lot of things they weren t supposed to. She only honors jerseys and I was wearing a Cowboys cap. Really just an excuse to not give a long time customer a discount the way I see it. I will go to another location to stay away from this rude lady

Went in at 8:05 PM to place an order for my sons birthday next week. No one was in bakery and the self checkout clerk was rude and gave me interesting faces when I was explaining to him that my order wasnt difficult or elaborate. I explained that I needed to pay for it since I wasnt picking it up. He went to a small closet near the front of the store and when he returned told me he couldnt help me and that I couldnt pay for it because the bakery closed at 8 PM! WTH? What kind of customer service is that! For a small round cake (thats usually already made on a shelf) with my sons name written on it and a dozen cupcakes. Yes I could get off shelf, but that might not be fresh and not the point. With the cost of everything almost doubling and stores closing earlier and earlier...is decent customer service too much to ask for?! I THINK NOT. Dont go here.

Place stinks .literally. It smells so bad with stinch and cinnamon to try and cover it up. Also never has whipping cream that s not close to expiring. Also, at prime time after work and before everybody will be shopping to cook dinner, the meat people are busy wrapping stuff instead of working the counter every single time.

We shoped till we had our grub run completed. It was a great time, and we were very excited to find a huge piece of beef.we wondered if we could get this huge slad of meat inside our car, we never had tried to get such a hugh piece inside it, Before. This slab like piece o meat was a very,very tight fit. After we rubbed some butter all over it, it went right in the oven. After we had let it cook inside for a while when all was said and done We got a great big piece of meat that satisfied our need to be full and satiated in an almost meat induced comalike state . We also found some very large vegetables with which to make and toss a great salad that one and all enjoyed at our last wild and swinging party. There, we also found plenty of fresh pineapples to eat and decorate the walls of our small but passionately decorated house. If you need a few things to make your next gathering swing in Harmony. Remember Tom thumb definitely has a lifestyle friendly staff, and the staff gets great pleasure supplying all your needs, desires & wants. Swing on by their fine establishment. After having a detailed conversation with Steven he assured me my prescription of desmopressin acetate would be available for pick up the following day when the shipment arrived. I arrived at the pharmacy the next day after the arrival of the 5pm shipment, the manager of the pharmacy advised me to contact the distributor of my medication to find out why it was never shipped. Over looking the fact that Steven lied to me I asked her if she could provide me with the number of her distributor she replied in a condescending tone you could google it you know with your phone. This pharmacy subsists on the dictation of health coverage providers.

This Tom Thumb has new food choices everytime I go. They are adding to their enormous meat market right now. They also help the community by hiring physically challenged individuals. First time in this store and very impressed with the ambiance. The baker was busy making a cake for a mom and two young daughters. She worked steadily to decorate this last-minute order and won their hearts. I got a dozen of the best pastries from the daily racks that I have ever found outside of Crispy Cream. The only reason I shop here is because its so close. Husband tried to get a job here and was told he would have to start as a bagger ( over 50 years old) at 10 bucks an hour. HEB starts their baggers at least at 12.50. This store needs more than a makeover, its needs a complete rehaul of management. I cant tell you how many things I have bought from this store and the stuff was at an unsafe temperature at the deli or turned bad the very next day.

Clean store, well maintained with EXCELLENT customer service. Its just about the only grocery store I go to after sampling the others nearby. The closest Kroger gets extra negatives for being nastier than the nearest Super Walmart. Do you know how hard you have to work at being bad to make Super Walmart the sane alternative for grocery shopping. This is by far the best grocery store in Rowlett. If you ask an employee where something is they either know where it is or will find out. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They have actual butchers here, and they give great cooking advice. The quality of the meat is far beyond anything youll find at Walmart. They also have a great area for pre-made foods that are tastey.
