Super fun for a group, especially birthday parties. Sometimes there arent too many people so it can be risky trying to go play by yourself. The paint is a little pricey, but thats pretty much anywhere. Would recommend

Ive been a couple times for paintballing both when it was pretty busy and when it wasnt (at one point it was just us.) Cole and the other staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can tell they really want you to have a good time. The place is VERY kid friendly. Theres lots of tables for birthday parties. You dont need to reserve or pay for a table and they do take walk-ins but you should definitely give a heads up/reservation if your a big enough group to need a table. You can bring your own food and drinks (different rules for alcohol like no hard liquor.) The paint does wash off but you should probably wash your clothes the day of and not let it soak for awhile, especially if you had a lot of paint on it. My shirt has some remnants of the dye on it. Their rental protective equipment should be more than enough. They can be a little loose and the vest only covers the chest fyi. The paintball markers are definitely low impact and can have trouble splattering, especially on loose clothing. Its almost pointless shooting far away. That said, it can definitely still hurt when it does hit. Theres only one big room for paintball and its shared with gel ball. So youll end up taking turns and might take awhile if its really busy and you just want to go with your party. Otherwise youre more than welcome to join the other groups if everyone is okay with it. The place is great value for what you get. They even let you come back for free if you visit again within the next 2 weeks. Youd get 100 free paintballs. That only lasts maybe 2 rounds/15 min of play. So plan accordingly!

Hands down one of the best birthday experiences we ve ever had . My 10 year old is still talking about how amazing it was . The staff was probably the highlight of everything for me as a parent . They made sure that everyone was having an amazing time and helping our littlest when needed . Just can t say enough good things about this place . Highly recommend this hidden gem !

My son had his 10th birthday party here and had a blast with his friends. He had so much fun that him and I now go every couple of weeks (very cost effective if you do it this way). It is a great way for us to get some father son bonding time. The entire staff is great! I can not speak highly enough about how good they are at keeping everyone engaged and making it fun. We are big fans of this place and look forward to many more battles together. Highly recommend!!!

Went with a group of friends from work. We played paintball and Had a Blast!! They Men running the place were Super Nice. They gave us extra gear. Definitely would go again. Highly recommend it. The paintballs are small and dont make as much of a mess a regular ones. The paint washed right out of our clothing.

I went with a group of friends for my birthday and this place was actually soooo much fun and I know I will be coming back again! They show a videos of the rules which are pretty simple and straightforward and make sure you re safe while playing. Then when we were out of paintballs the two guys there (cole and eden/aiden?) threw in a couple of mins of axe throwing since it was my birthday and they made it so fun too and they were cheering on me and my friends. Will definitely be going again :))

Sergio and Cole were both super cool and very helpful. We had a group of 8 boys and 1 girl all about 13yrs old and they had a blast. Safe, fun, not real expensive and they let you bring ur own food and drinks. Kids played till they were spent! Good times.

This location was perfect for my son s 11th birthday party. First when we got there the staff was very helpful getting us set up with our tables and our reservation details. The space is perfect as it was not over crowded. They even gave all of my party goers the suits to wear when they were not even part of the package. The highly recommend booking a party here. We had such a great experience and the kids even said it was the best birthday they had been to in a while. Thank you GatSplat and all the staff there for making this an unforgettable experience!

We attended a Birthday party on 7/8/23 & had a great time! The two young men at the counter were super friendly and helpful. We were shown how to throw axes and stars, then later shown another throwing method. The interactions with both young men were professional and had a personal touch. We didnt participate in the paintball activity, but those from the party that did had great fun! Highly recommend.

My kids (10 and 11) and I had a blast here. Its cheaper to reserve your spot online than in person, and its cheaper than playing paintball outdoors and you avoid the heat! The staff was extremely friendly and walked us through everything and helped us decide on better games to play. I cant recommend Gatsplat Rowlett enough!! Ryan was incredible with the kids and super efficient rotating the groups in and out. He made sure to have the backup guns loaded and always had high fives ready for them at the end of the game. The facility was clean and well run. I can see my son wanting his birthday party there every year from here on out. Amazing!

GatSplat is AMAZING!!! Buckle up I give long reviews because I like to cover EVERYTHING!! First, the entire facility is clean, I mean, borderline immaculate! Next, the staff!! These young men were nothing short of PERFECTION! My daughter was the only girl at a birthday party for one of her favorite friends and they made sure she knew how to work everything, let her pick her gun and everything!! I m cold natured in general and the guys saw me leave and come back in with my jacket and what did they do?? Turned the fans down a little so I wouldn t be uncomfortable #AboveAndBeyond!!!!! There are 2 standout employees there and I HAVE to call them out by name! Ryan and Corbin!! These are some good kids! They look you in the eyes when they talk to you and shake your hand when meeting you! Ask for them if you plan on stopping by!! It s fun and the staff there makes the entire experience AWESOME!!!! Lastly, my only complaint is that it s cold in there lol! Once everything gets started, it s not bad at all, BUT i would like to request some cool embroidered jackets for the Young Men up there (we had a whole conversation about this )!! They have got to be freezing all day!! Hopefully, Larry sees this and gets the guys some cool yet professional jackets soon!!! 10/10 recommend!!! Here s my girl paint balling for the first time!!! Love this location! Cole, Corbin, Jordan and Chris handled our party and they were phenomenal! Very engaged with the kids, high energy and overall fun to be around. There wasn t a question unanswered nor request unfulfilled and even though they were nice they still made sure the kiddos followed all of the safety guidelines. Susan and Larry also went above and beyond to accommodate my party with our preferred location, kept in touch via phone regarding my requests and followed up when they said they would. The new guns are 10/10 no stopping to recharge mid game, no battery replacement, zero gun issues for the duration of our 2 hour event. The location is also spotless, the staff was cleaning and sanitizing as we walked in and when we walked out. We will definitely be back.

Only reason I give 2 stars is because its indoor. Other than that, is it really even paintball when you have to use feild markers and they are .50 cal. In other words they seem to only be for events and parties. No interest in the sport

Wow! I am a teacher that took a group of 80 high school students and the management at this place was so great to work with! They offer an incredible value - we did ax throwing and paintball. As the organizer of the event who has done this 4-5 times before, I switched to this venue from a competitor and the difference is night and day. Emails and phone conversations were professional, clear, and efficient. The online waiver tracking for a party is so helpful to make sure everyone is ready to play. The staff was so accommodating and friendly when we were there. They managed the games and and team making really well. When we had a problem with the pizza delivery the manager offered to pick up the pizzas for us. 12 out of 10 experience.

Absolutely incredible experience. I went with my physics class on the 19th of May 2022. Corbin and Axel were the mvp employees by far. If those 2 guys are running the show you are in for a good time. That is not to say the other employees did not do good jobs as well, they were incredible. I would highly recommend the iron man mode which was the most fun by far. Also try out the ax throwing. Will go again on my own. Maybe some are scared of getting shot but they have tons of protection options. It really does not hurt that bad as I got shot myself over 100 times with shorts and a t-shirt and Im fine. If you have a free weekend you should go.

My husband and I went for our anniversary. This was the first time that wed ever gone in our lives and thrown axes. When I tell you it was the best thing ever, I am not kidding. It was so awesome to have different options to choose from when it comes to what youre throwing ax is at. We did the zombie heads, duck hunt, tic-tac-toe, connect four, everything. Cole, was a godsend. He taught us some trick moves, he was very knowledgeable about everything. He was great. The entire experience was great. We will definitely be back

Went axe throwing with my friend and 4 year old daughter and it was a lot of fun! Obviously my daughter couldn t participate so after Corbin educated us on how to throw the axe he would go and have a convo with my daughter which I thought was very sweet of him. He showed us some great tricks and he had some great techniques that we are very excited to use for next time. Corbin was an amazing teacher and idk how much he gets paid but he needs a raise! Also I didn t take any alcohol this time but I did get to listen to some bad bunny since we had control of the sound system that day. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We had so much fun. There was 4 of us. They kept us together due to the boys being nervous at first. Once they realized it didnt hurt. It was game on. We got separated for a few matches. Lots of fun! We had my sons 11th birthday here and the staff created such an incredible experience for us all. They catered the matches specifically for us and even my 5 year old was able to play. The gear was well maintained, easy to use and offered plenty of protection. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating to all of us and gave my son a birthday hell never forget. The prices were fair the experience was great! This is an awesome alternative if you don t have a large group of people and you want to have legit fun, this is the place to do it at. Not only do they have paint ball they have axe throwing and it s really nicely set up. Corbin was great with my small party that came through. Will definitely be coming back to this place

We had a great time at this Location! Booked the whole place for the office Christmas party and it was a blast! The guys working there were super easy to deal with and made it lots of fun. Went for a birthday party. Great concept but a lot to be desired. Two claw games both not functional. Safety video for kids game should be created. The video we watched had nothing to do with the guns or games they played. Belly ball guns kept jamming and we should have been offered the armor before our first game. Not after a couple kids were crying. Again great concept most had fun but not a great experience.

Pretty cool place. All the staff is super friendly. We did some ax throwing and was amused by the great music being played and the friendly service provided by management. If you ax throw with a few people or with a group I recommend for all ages! John was a pro at ax throwing and showed us how to be skillful like him. Will be back!

This place is AMAZING!!! We had my sons birthday there and everyone had a great time. You can watch the battle scene from behind glass...which in turn made a few more of us want to participate. All of the staff were so helpful and made sure all of our kiddos had what they needed.. Super efficient and really considerate! Cole took care of our party and he was the best! Thanks to all of the rest of the crew that helped make our party such a great success. Plan you next party here...kids or adults! They also have axe throwing for adults. We plan to go back and try that out next time!!

Gatsplat is awesome! Cedric, Jon, and all the other guys are helpful, informative, and patient. We brought 6 boys for an impromptu birthday party and then came back again twice with just two boys. Each time they had a blast!! They let the boys play against each other and put them on teams with other groups. They suggested games to play while in the arena to make it even more fun. We got to try our hand at their indoor axe throwing, too. Thanks for making these experiences so much fun!

This place is fantastic! The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. They made my son s birthday so special! I didn t intend to play myself, but I ended up participating and it was a blast! Celebrated my sons 7th birthday at the Rowlett located. The staff is amazing. Helped out and answered every question since it was all of our first time paintballing. I highly recommend this location. The kids ranged from 7-13 and every single one of them had a blast. I recommend purchasing the body gear or wear jeans and a long sleep.

We went for my youngest birthday. Because of covid-19 we were the only people there, so the boys played the whole time. The two guys there Jacob and I didnt get the other young mans name were awesome. Very help and informative. Made sure we had everything we needed for our food and drinks.
