Tom walked us through the process of selling and then buying our new home. He was quick to respond when we had questions and always took the time to make sure we understood what was going on. Our sale and purchase were not easy deals to close. While selling our home, we received two offers that fell through due to the buyers not qualifying for a loan. On the third try the appraisal came back lower than our negotiated price. Instead of another deal falling through, Tom was able to find a middle ground that made everyone happy and closed the deal. When purchasing our new home Tom took the time to make sure we were not only satisfied with the price we were paying but the condition of the house as well. We discovered a new roof was needed in inspections and were able to get a price reduction to pay for the repair with minimal hassle. If you are looking for someone that knows the island and values long term relationships over a quick buck look no further than Tom Schwenk. In our experience Tom is truly terrific!
