If you want your case finished properly I would take your business else where. Cliff went completely dark on me after our last court appearance to which I thought everything had been finished. Little less than a year later I come to find out my divorce was never finalized because Cliff quit responding to my still husbands lawyer along with not returning my emails.. granted I got full custody of my son and a restraining order but what I wanted most was a divorce. We re still married to this day and Cliff has still yet to respond.

I hired this amazing attorney back on Dec of 2022 for a child custody case. He layed out the ground work of how hard he will fight to keep my son in my life. Through out the entire case Mr. Swayze was very detailed about everything and made sure I understood what his performance would be like during the days we had court. If I could give this man 10 stars out of 5 I would! I couldnt be more happy with his work and he is definitely the best attorney I have ever met. Hes amazing at communicating, he answers your calls and emails the same day, answers any questions you have and is great at making things easy to understand. Hes open and honest about how he feels and what he thinks about a case and explains why. I had Mr. Swayze as my child custody attorney for about 6 months and he kept consistent communication with me about my case the entire time! If I could describe Mr. Swayze in 3 words it would be,kind, empathetic, and driven. He does not give up on his clients. Mr. Swayze is so good that he beat 3, yes THREE lawyers in court and got my daughter back to me who I hadnt seen in over 11 months. I reached a time in my first marriage that required a divorce. I feel sorry for anyone that has to cross that same bridge. Cliff Swayze took the time to advise me about the legalities of the situation with compassion. After I became his client Cliff took the time to have brief conversations throughout the process without racking up multiple 15 minute charges. I had to travel across the state of Texas to attend my divorce hearing and Cliff did not let me down. He stood beside me at the courthouse even though his Father was laying on his deathbed in the hospital. I feel that this demonstrates his dedication to his clients. The divorce decree was agreed upon and was finalized. My ex wife agreed to a commitment regarding real estate and failed to comply by the deadline she chose. Cliff represented me again to ensure she complied. The Judge ruled in my favor. A little time passed and we had a custody dispute. Cliff was there for me. I had to assign a Guardian ad litem and march through the muck of all that. Cliff walked beside me. If you are reading this I recommend that you do your best to work your marriage out. I hired Clifford when my minor daughter told me she wanted to live with me full time. I had joint custody with my ex-wife. We ended up going to mediation. During the mediation we were going back and forth not making much progress. Then Mr Swayze told the mediator that if opposing counsel didn t get realistic soon and I quote, You are wasting my time and my clients money. That statement changed everything. I called Cliff on my way out of a consultation with another attorney who even tho was charging for her consultation she was 30 minutes late for and no one knew where she was so I left. Cliff took my call even tho he was on vacation with his family. I was desperate for anyone to help. I hadnt been able to see or speak to my kids in two years. Their mom moved, changed phone numbers and blocked me on everything I could contact her on. He is the reason I get to see my kids pretty much half of the year now. He stood up for me when I needed it. Didnt let her or her attorney run me over or treat me poorly. Even though they both tried numerous times. There were times during all of the court case that I was just tired and beat down and wanted to quit. He is the only reason I didnt because I knew I wasnt fighting alone and he cared just as much about that case as I did. The way he handled everything and stood by me is worth twice the money he charges. I really dont think it could have turned out any better than it did. I dont even know where to start. When my fiancés children were taken and hidden away from him we reached out to a ton of different lawyers within our area. We were waiting in another lawyers office when her assistant came in and said she was running late already 30 minutes late, I decided to look up other lawyers. That is when I found Clifford Swayze. We called him within a few minutes of leave that other lawyers office and he gave us a consultation over the phone right on the spot. He then immediately set an appointment with him and hit the ground running and did not stop. Every time there was an obstacle Clifford would communicate with us, tell us what we needed to do specifically on our end, and he made sure that nothing got pushed under the rug. He examined every piece of paperwork sent by the childrens mothers lawyer, and when something did not look right he would fix the issue and fight for the rights of a father. He made sure that both sides of the story were told in an honest way to make sure that our judge was given to truth with evidence. Clifford is honest, answers all questions, and helped make this two year old process finally end with both parents receiving the same rights to their children. Mr. Swayze first off handled my divorce/custody battle the way four other attorneys said they would. He was never scared to stand up for me when the other party tried to do something sneaky/selfish. He always read the fine print and had outside the box thinking to counter. That s why I believe we won the battle! I ve heard over and over from all the other lawyers saying we will fight but when it came down to the time to stand up they never did Mr. Swayze ALWAYS stood up in confidence! I interviewed about a dozen lawyers before I chose Cliff Swayze. I had a complex case that involved a child and took a long time to work through the details of, and wanted to find someone that I would be comfortable working with through a long and difficult process. I learned that Cliff has an excellent reputation and a lot of experience dealing with difficult family issues. One of the things that was the most helpful about having Cliff as my advocate through this whole process is how well he knows the law. I had given up on finding someone with any knowledge about some of the details of my case, and he had an excellent foundation for figuring it out. He also had the research and analytical skills to give me a strong case at a time when I felt like I was at a severe disadvantage. Another thing thats great about Cliff is that he is excellent in court. He has really impressive rhetorical skill and could think fast on his feet when difficult situations and unexpected issues arose. And then he began to work as one who has done it before does, with the sort of speed and efficiency a person in such a dilemma as my own would hope for. He had a solid plan in mind, with not only him looking to address the facts of the case, but also a number of measures and steps for me to take to show myself, if necessary, to be worthy of any consideration for leniency from the DAs office and the court.
