This place has quickly become my wife and my favorite wine spot. They have a really well curated selection of California wines that has something for everyone. I particularly appreciate that they avoid wines that are heavily oaked, which means you can taste the wine s fruit notes more than average. The co-owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn t recommend this place more!

My daughter introduced us to Matt and this exciting new venue. They did a wonderful job of creating an atmosphere for enjoying the exceptional wines that they bring in. We loved our experience at Swallow wines! The atmosphere is very classy and relaxing. The decor/ambiance is top notch, you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the space. My husband and I walked in on a rainy Tuesday and did a wine tasting with Matt. Matt went above and beyond in explaining all the ins and outs of each wine. He was invested in our experience and is very knowledgeable in this area. You will not be disappointed if you walk into Swallow Wines! It s a great escape from the craziness of life.

Second time here and I m in love. Amazingly unique wines with an upscale causal vibe that is warm and inviting for all. Truly a new and wonderful addition to downtown Round Rock. Did I mention vinyls on constant rotation?! Yes please.

This is the place that has convinced me that maybe California wine is in fact better than Texas. Every time I have been here I ve been met with extraordinarily well priced fine wine. I appreciate being able to actually taste the notes in the wine. Will keep coming back!

We looked at the website and it looked wonderful. Walk ins available. Showed OPEN and the hours were listed. Drove almost an hour in Austin traffic just to see closed for private event . Should have been posted on the website. Very disappointing

The owners, Gabe and Matt, are so genuine and welcoming! All of the wine is fantastic and they even gave free tastings of variety of wines to help show the different profiles. We ended up purchasing four bottles because they were all terrific. My husband and I will be making this a staple date night location!

Matt and Gabe are a delight. This is my new go to place for hanging with friends to drink wine. The decor is beautiful and the art on the walls is intriguing. Seems like there is always a fun little event going on each month like meet the wine maker and more. I have several places I can go in Georgetown but Swallow Wines is worth the drive to Round Rock. Highly recommend you go check this place out.

Swallow Wines is a gem of a place, and a much needed fresh vibe for downtown Round Rock. Gabe and Matt are the most engaging, friendly and fun wine experts. The place itself is an oasis, and I feel like going home every time I enter. The wines themselves are excellent, and each has a unique story which Gabe and Matt are eager to share. Their meet the winemaker events are an incredible opportunity to talk to the brains behind the bottles and understand more about their origins. I recently visited this wine bar and it was a disappointing experience. The service was absolutely atrocious. The staff member who attended to us was not only rude but also seemed eager to push us out the door as quickly as possible. If the person who helped us is representative of the service standards here, I have serious doubts about the long-term viability of this business. The two stars are because of no tipping or it would be one. This is actually quite wonderful to see and redeeming. re response 28 May, different first name.

Matt and Gabe have put together a different wine tasting experience that is so much fun. When you go in, the atmosphere is inviting. It feels as though youve walked right into their kitchen and they are ready to have a glass of wine with you. They are so knowledgeable and so fun. I could not get home fast enough to rate this tasting room five-stars. Gabe and Matt have created such a beautiful, welcoming, and intriguing experience with their tastings and wine collection. They not only take so much pride in the wines they showcase, but also take the time to learn their guests. Today was my first time visiting but there were a few repeat guests and they remembered not only their tastes and preferences, but their names as well. I should mention, too, that I bought my wine tasting ticket yesterday and when I walked in today, Gabe greeted me by name. It s nice to feel special and Gabe and Matt both made me feel that way during my entire visit. I left feeling so relaxed, so energized from such wonderful conversations, and filled up my wine rack with an incredible selection of wines. I am so thrilled I found Swallow Wines and can t wait to visit them again soon!

Beautiful venue for tasting small production wines. Lots of wine and an elegant and informative experience. Brings a real level of excitement and sophistication to Round Rock. I cant believe I havent written a review for Swallow Wines yet. Its one of my favorite places to grab some wine and chat with a friend or meet some new people. The tasting room is so inviting - Matt and Gabe, the owners, really made it feel like they invited me to their home! Awesome patio too. I also enjoy that you dont just get the same wines each time - they have such a broad selection, I always find something new. In just a few visits, Ive found 3 new wines that I completely love. Im almost hesitant to share this review.... but I cant gatekeep in good conscience. This was the most amazing wine tasting Ive ever experienced. Gabriel and Matt were so attentive, cherasmatic, and eager to educate us with any questions we had. They were very intuitive to our differences in palates and preferences. They instinctively knew what to recommend to us individually. I would be remiss to mention that the value and quality we received exceeded all expectations. The vibes are immaculate. We will be regulars.

Incredible little wine magic spot in the heart of Round Rock! Who could believe something elegant like that is available in Round Rock? My husband and I went there for a tasting and we loved it. Great ambiance, knowledgeable hosts and great wines. They have over 70 different California wines so everyone can find their perfect match. Each wine comes with a card that includes info about the wine and also pricing if you are considering buying. There is an inside and outside seating and no food for now, but you are more than welcome to bring your own outside food. Overall, we had an amazing evening there, and I highly recommend that you check this spot out.
