They have recently gone up on their shot prices. Casamigos is about 15 a shot now... All the prices seem to have gone up astronomically, but they have done nothing to fix the dirty torn floors. Fix the ripped and out of date furniture, or actually clean the place. The music they host is great, and the only reason I occasionally go. I dont mind the dive bar atmosphere... But they are a dive bar charging premium prices. Some of the highest in the area. If you wanna be a dive bar, dont screw your regulars. Btw. The bartenders and servers are great. I dont blame them for whats happened over the last few months.

Great food. Absolutely horrible service. Never enough wait staff. Never write anything down. Orders wrong. HIRE more help! Went back two weeks later, Jan 28. Again, bad service. Waited 10 minutes waiter finally said hed be right back. Never returned. We left went to Rusty Beagle. This is unfortunate, such a nice place with great food. Service sucks.

Reminds me of an old VFW hall, without the smoke. You dont go there for the specialty drinks. You go there for the friendship and atmosphere. Ordered a margarita. Tasted like a was from a mix. The draft beer I had was cold and fresh. Maygo again but not in my neighborhood but if its in yours, nice laid-back bar to hang with your friends.

This place would be 5 stars if they had a patio! Unless you enjoy being asked for a lighter or cigarette, the best seats at the tables. Dont bother going here if you cant handle smoke. The food here all quality. They serve two different types of Calamari (spirals and squid shaped) witch is just lightly fried. I would get this again. The Black &Blue burger is good size and comes with spicy mayo. They gladly gave me two condiments of mayo I gave three stars because I was they had more beers on tap like Guiness or Sam Adams and the need for a patio. If your an aviation enthusiast, youll enjoy the location as its where flights turn in on Final for DFW.

I recently visited The Port After North. The band (Aquarius) played.The band was really good. The service was outstanding. The waitress, Michelle, did a very good job. She was very busy. The establishment wasnt packed but the customers seem to enjoy themselves. The drink were at a reasonable price. I will continue to visit this bar because of the people and entertainment.

I normally dont do reviews but I needed to vent. I met a friend there last night who was performing on open mike night and its a very comfortable place. People were friendly and the service was decent enough. I ordered the chicken pepper and Mac and cheese. There should be a warning about the pepper! It was an insane amount of pepper! It was even on the green beans and it caused me to spend several minutes in the bathroom. I think it tasted ok but sooo much pepper made it intolerable to finish. It seemed like a safe dish to order but with an overkill of pepper it was off the charts. Ill probably return because my friend performs there but not sure Ill order from the menu.

Love hanging out at The Point. Food is surprisingly good (steak fingers, yum), and I just love the hole-in-the-wall feel. Its true that regulars get better service, so dont be afraid to flag down your waitress if you need something. Just be aware that this isnt the place for uppity type people. If youre looking for a place to drink, play pool, darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, and laugh with friends, this is the place to be.

If your not an old time regular don t expect any attention. Unless they have recently had Bar Rescue in to help completely retrain the owner and the entire staff this is no place to go if you want good service. We once waited an hour after ordering to be told that what we ordered was no longer being served. They do have a ride home program for people that may have had to much to drink.

Nice venue. We went to watch open mic on Sunday night and saw some talented performers. They have pool tables and my husband saw a sign stating they have shuffleboard too. Appetizers we ordered were tasty. There was a good crowd that night and a good time was had by all.

I have been at this bar for over a year Pros- Karaoke a 4 nights a week, open mic sunday, live band friday night, and reasonably priced food and drinks. I enjoy the food and cover bands doing 90s and classic rock tunes the most here. Cons- The Karaoke- computer freezes frequently when you are singing, so the lyrics continue without music. Open Mic- Intended for their regulars only. The host has a performer lists signup sheet that is supposed to be first come first served, yet it is the same 10 people(prefilled list) in the same order every time, so dont waste your time arriving before 11:30. For the regulars and friends, they give 3 or 4 songs (with time flexibility) while giving new people max of 3 songs and 10 to 12 minutes if your lucky. Theres a bad odor in the pool room, it seems to persist every time I have ventured back there. Bottom Line- If they ever fix the karaoke laptop and do open mic as it was intended, this may be a place to visit again.
