Had lunch here today and it was fabulous! Was seated immediately, order taken soon after and food arrived quickly after that. My server was so warm and friendly. Food was delicious and presented well on the plate. I had the chalupa, enchilada, rice combination plate sooooo good. Will be back soon

My brother and I came here to try the famous Tex-Mex Fluffy Tacos, omg it was so delicious! We completely recommend this place! The tortillas and tortilla chips were recently made and the salsa was flavorful, and the tacos were so good! They were like a hard shell taco with freshly made goods inside. I think the beans were my favorite, they weren t canned they were made there with a soupy style and very good. I really recommend this place. We went to La Margarita the next day for the puffy tacos but they were not like these here. The beans at La margarita were canned and we just didn t like them, I think they re just known for their atmosphere. Anyways the service here at Pico the Gallo was also great, very attentive and friendly. If you re in the area, def check this place out. It s more authentic than other places.

Went for breakfast Friday 8-30-2024 and was served by an older gentleman in a blue shirt, at first he didnt want to show me my receipt before i paid and then he brought me back incorrect change and when I asked where the rest of my change was he said it was for his tip even though we had already left a cash tip at the table. Horrible that yall think its okay to steal money from people and bully them into tipping you more, I will never be back.

The atmosphere feels very homey, not as touristy as some of the other places in the family of restaurants. The food was excellent. We enjoyed brunch with mimosas. The bakery has a nice selection of Mexican favorite pastries. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend.

Alamo Area Hospitality Association hosted an event at Pico de Gallo and they did a FABULOUS job! The upstairs private space was spacious and set up perfectly for us upon arrival. We were greeted by their team and their Director of Training, Mario Moreno. He shared his story with our group and talked about the restaurants, his personal story, and the American dream. He was very engaging with our group and well respected by his team and peers. Miguel and Laura served us piping hot, delicious food with smiles on their faces. Bravo for a job well done!

We have been coming here for more than 40 years. Always wonderful. The enchiladas Tejanas are the best in San Antonio. Extensive menu and great bar. This is the sister restaurant to Mi Tierra. Here you get great service as a local - not treated like a tourist.

My Family Really enjoy coming to Pico de Gallo when were in town.. BUT MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BE ATTENTIVE, with their staff!.. The tenured waitresses to be focused on the customers, we felt rushed! All of the servers are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and thorough. My favorite server is Miguel. He always greets my guests and I like family, and he is the ultimate professional, representing Pico de Gallo with pride and respect. Whenever Im lucky enough to go to lunch when hes working, I specifically request a booth or table in his section. He is an absolute blessing to Pico de Gallo, and to me. Ive even celebrated my birthday lunches at Pico de Gallo the last several years thanks to him!

My son left his iPad there when we were on vacation after a fantastic dinner and we didn t realize it until after they closed. For luck my hubby and son went back to the restaurant and the manager was leaving when they got there. The manager went back into the restaurant to retrieve the iPad!! Dropped in for late lunch, 2:00 pm, and the place was crowded. Did not take long to get a table. Meal arrived hot and ready to our table. Love the wall mural (go online and you can find the names of each person on the wall). This place reminds me of a real Mexican mom and pop restaurant. The price for our meals were inexpensive considering this is near downtown. Highly recommend you visit fir lunch. We plan to return soon for dinner.

I was at Pico last week. It was a bit busier than normal with a couple of big parties. Our waiter Miguel was excellent. He took care of our every need in a timely manner, given he had a big table to tend to. Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend Miguel for his outstanding service during a busy period and highly recommended Pico for the outstanding food. Will definitely be returning.

Food was great! We all cleaned our plates. I had the fajitas plate and the beef and chicken were tender and flavorful. On 04/14/2024 I had lunch at this restaurant around 2:00 pm and I did not like what I saw. Security guard walking inside the restaurant as if she was security for a taco stand. Walking freely in the back where workers are and serving herself to fresh lemonade by opening the container to pour herself some. For one thing.....She does not work there and she should not touch the food. She does not have a health card and she did not wash her hands. People can get sick......This a great restaurant and should not have this going on. Parking: Handicap parking use by security with no handicap tag. You may not fine a space.

Every time I visit San Antonio I try to eat here. It s always delicious, great customer service and fair prices. The staff is always bubbly and friendly. The food is authentic and delicious. I m picky about my Menudo and it s delicious. Also they have their own parking lot and street parking is plentiful. I would recommend this place.

With all the construction around the marketplace, we went to this little gem. Its a very comfy place with awesome nice and friendly staff. The food was delicious . even the decor was nice to see with plenty of seating. It was packed, which is always good. Our wait time was 20mins.. My daughter and her husband celebrate their anniversary . And we just a horrible service, only one server for a 29 people. It was to much for him but he try to do the best but was not enough. Had the Mexican beef enchiladas plate. Right amount of seasoning. Good homemade tortillas. The service was a little slow, which may have been due to their shift change.....
