*Edited to add- they did replace my order completely when management was in* I only gave two stars because the girl did try to fix the issue. But it was still messed up. I ordered a Birria special and a torta. After almost 15 min they say they dont have the bread to make it. So she tries to replace it. I ordered chicken and waffles and didnt realize it was a taco...no syrup for the dry waffles. And I did not get my Birria special... instead I got three tacos with what looks like everything they had left over for the night. I have wanted to try this for so long and now I regret it. Before I was offered a redo I asked for a refund and the girl said she didnt know how to do one. $35 wasted! This is a no for me.

Yoo this place is GREAT. My girl and I came here for breakfast this morning. It was soooo satisfying. We each got p much the same 2 tacos: Brisket, potato & egg , and build-your-own egg+bacon. I got the taco plate with Mexican rice and black beans. She just got the tacos. 10/10 we will be back very soon. Prices are crazy good and food is delicious. Pro tip: get the side of black beans and put them in your taco. This my new fave breakfast spot for sure. Sadly I didnt get pics bc I was too hungry but I will be back asap.

Nice clean little place across from RRHS. They have a huge menu with everything Biria and non biria. I was going to go to Chipotle but decided to try something else and Im so glad that I did. I got the 3 biria tacos a try and was delicious!! The tacos were fully stuffed with beef and cheese and the biria consume was so flavorful. NGL, i was very sad after my last quesadilla was gone :P It was all satisfying and under $15, so it was completely worth it in my book. I definitely 100% recommend this place, I will be back to try other tastey biria items like the pizza or ramen!! Stopped by a week later, after a night of rock climbing, and this place is open till 3am on a Fri night. Tried the Biria Burrito, it was so yummy! Nothing to dip, but pour their spicy Verde sauce on, so good! Tried their Birria Torta today, and it was also very good. Not a soggy sandwich, but it was totally stuffed with birria meat and goodness!! Also, since our lunch took a bit long, so we got a Tres leches cake on the house. It was soooo good, puts HEB version to shame. You will probably be too full to try it, but dont sleep on it folks its really good.

Really disappointed with this place. The food was on point but a word of caution. We placed a rather large order to go. As a requirement they need to take your payment over the phone. Later on that day I was alerted by my CC company that my card was used to place a door dash order from McDonalds. The card was not used anywhere else in the week prior to this. Either the person who took my payment info misused it or they wrote it down and it was used by someone else. Rather sad end to good food.

This used to be our regular go-to spot, but unfortunately, its gone downhill. The quality of the food has noticeably dropped - The service has also suffered rude, inattentive. To top it off, prices have gone up significantly, and given the decline in both food and service, it s simply not worth it anymore. Sadly, we won t be returning anytime soon.

If you re looking for the best tacos in Austin, look no further. I ve tried many tacos, but this place takes the top spot! The Omega Taco, with its simple yet delicious combination of beef and shrimp, is a standout. The sauce is what truly sets it apart it s incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. I ve even gone two mornings in a row just to have these tacos. Highly recommend!

The reviews looked good so I thought I would give it a try. I stopped by and had a steak taco, the flavor was good but it was pretty oily. The guy at the counter did not seem very intelligent, he was not very hopeful when I asked him for suggestions and seemed to not really understand their menu or what some of the menu ingredients were, and he did not even seem to know the difference between raw and grilled onions. My taco was brought out three times before they got it right. I would give it a second shot, but I would not go into it with high hopes.

I m getting family owned Latin American eclectic vibes. My husband told me to rate 5 stars but I m saying 4 for the food because I like a little more salt. But that s not so bad if you like to have more control of your salt intake. But their avacado taco hit the spot for sure. Im so impressed with how clean it is with the authentic Mexican music and rapid service. You can tell a lot of DoorDashers use this place. When I picked up my order I asked for some salsa for my tacos, I was told that there was a mix of green and red already in the bag, I said great and came home. When I went to eat my tacos found out that there was zero salsa with my order and was definitely not happy!!! To add to that the tacos here are mediocre at best. Would not go back to this place, staff needs to double check orders to make sure that what you ask for is actually in the order!!!!!

Used to be so good...after so many deliveries being wrong and instead going in person today it was sad to see that our order was still incorrect. The young man at the register did not even put in an add on I asked for and the potatoes were burnt. Lunas was so great! Food was amazing and the sweet lady at the front who takes care of all the plants is amazing and she made my morning. The best Round Rock Taco restaurant with international flair. I think its absolutely amazing that they cook everything in extra virgin olive oil instead of those pesky vegetable seed oils that all the restaurants use. Its also a great place for keto as you can get taco bowels. Everything is customizable and they always get my orders right. Great prices and great customer service. We stopped in yesterday at the recommendation of associates and boy are we glad that we did! In a city where taco vendors, taco restaurants are extremely numerous it is hard to find the ones that stand out and Lunas is one of the best. From the time we entered the establishment to the time we left the atmosphere was laid back. Now the hardest part of our visit was chosing which flavor of taco to choose so we picked multiple and every one of them were fantastic. Ramon greeted us when we arrived and answered every question about each item with a genuine smile. This place is fantastic and if you havent taken the time to come visit YOU SHOULD! If you ve eaten here then you know the Tacos are absolutely amazing! But...... the last few times I ve been here, my service at the counter has been terrible! 1st off, give your employees name badges or make them wear them if they have them already. I m here at 3:00pm 05-31-21 and whoever this lady is that s taking orders right now is the same person that has been here the last few times I ve been here and here s my complaints about her... She doesn t say anything when you walk up to the counter (Like How may I help you or Can I take your order ). She just sits there and looks at you while leaning on the counter resting on her elbows. And when she does speak, her tone is not one of customer service, it s one of irritation and she can t wait to be done with you. Last time I was here before today she put in my order wrong and argued me down that I said what she put in like I don t know what I eat and don t eat, just fix the problem ma am! When you re food is ready, she sits it down on the counter and walks off. I think that s all that fits in here or I d put more! The tacos are too good to not have the service to match! *** UPDATE*** Service is a lot better now May 2024. Its Friday night, and Im craving some birria tacos, I found this place and saw that they had more options besides birria tacos and had to give it a try! This place definitely satisfied my craving. They are not stingy with their portions. My torta was full to the brim with birria. Their green salsa is really good, not super spicy but spicy enough that it made me want even more My husband got a birria burrito, and it was just as good as the torta. Pretty good, but a little peeved. I m vegan, and I see on the menu in google maps that they have some veg options so we take a chance on the place. In one of the photos I see vegan picadillo taco, and hope that they still have it. I get there and don t see it on the menu immediately, so I ask if they don t have it anymore and I get a blunt and condescending no. It s fine that they don t have it, the cashier just reacted as if I asked for a burrito at a ramen shop. I just didn t appreciate the nonchalant service. I proceed to order 3 (V) marked tacos on the board, my mistake: assuming that a green V meant vegan. I also saw fried avocado was an orange V, so my thinking was oh the green V means vegan and the orange vegetarian. I get the tacos and see that the nopalitos have egg and cheese on it. I tell the server that I didn t want cheese or egg on it and she takes it back. Definitely my mistake, I should ve read the description for the item I ordered. But thankfully they were nice enough to accommodate. I ordered the sweet potato hash, vegan fajita and the nopalito tacos. The SPH was surprisingly flavorful for just sweet potatoes and cauliflower in a tortilla, the VF was like any other mushroom fajitas not that great but still packed flavor in the onions, and the tomatillo sauce in the nopal taco was very creamy and tasted fresh. Overall good tacos but didn t fill me up. My main gripe is the menu design, if you re gonna have vegan/vegetarian options please have a legend on menu that says what V actually means. In my experience being vegan If I see vegan somewhere on the menu and there s no distinction between vegetarian or vegan, I ll assume everything with a V is vegan. It s just as simple as making that distinction with a legend, or group all the veg options together on the menu. So it makes it easier for veg people to scope out what they can order. Yes I can always ask for clarification what s vegan or not, but making it easier for me to understand what it is I do/don t want to order on the menu will make it way easier on both the service workers and the customer. Make simple fixes to the menu. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options, but if vegan be cautious.

Been coming here for years every time I visit. No idea what was going on in the kitchen but everything was pretty bad. Brisket taco absolutely drowned in sauce, under seasoned (as in zero seasoning) chicken in the fajita taco (how?) and worst of all UNDERCOOKED BACON in the bacon breakfast taco. I had it for the first time and I am blown away. The sauces are so different from other places. Spiceiness in the sauce should attract customers who love spice. Lunas Taco is a local taco restaurant that I learned to enjoy and appreciate. Besides their usual taco, they also offer international twist which is quite unique. For example, one of my favorites that they offer is Green Curry Coconut Shrimp taco which, yes, its Thai green curry (Not Indian, as mentioned in the menu ) with jasmine rice on a tortilla. They also offer Korean beef Bulgogi taco which in my list to next time. For todays visit, I went for the usual flavor tacos by ordering Brisket egg and potato breakfast taco (#2), Chicken Paprikas taco (#12) and Ribeye and egg breakfast taco (#9). All very excellent as usual.

Ordered a 13$ steak burrito, it was 70% rice, 20% beans and 9% steak with 1% cheese. Nobody wants to bite into a burrito and get a mouth full of rice.

The most delicious migas tacos I ve tried in town. Fun taco combinations. The lemonade is delicioussssss. Love coming here in between classes; the atmosphere is nice and pretty as well.

Delicious variety of breakfast tacos. Tortillas are a little too thin for my taste and sweet potato tacos must be an Austin thing. But the tacos were still delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The little viejita working the cashier is super friendly and welcoming. She was fun to talk with.

Fantastic tacos. Pineapple Pico was amazing. Try the jazz taco! Friendly staff and everything out super quick. Vibe was a little confusing as kitchen music and dining area music were completely different and roughly the same volume.

Nice surprise tonight at Luna s. I wasn t sure what they served, I just saw they were open late and gave it a try. The tacos are what I consider fun tacos . Lots of cool ingredients and combos. I mean chicken and waffle taco? Sign me up! I had the queso, gyro taco and the jazz which has beef fajitas, onions, and nopales. Not only was everything tasty, but the service was great! Super friendly staff and very welcoming. Can t wait to eat my way through the menu.

Every taco I try from here is excellent. If you enjoy chorizo & unique flavors please try the New Moon taco. It is chorizo, egg, sweet potatoes, crunchy onions with Chipotle aioli... it is awesomely complex.The fish tacos (Fiesty & Party) are absolutely sublime, I even get then for breakfast- just so easy to eat. The Omega Taco is soo excellent, great meat & shrimp with very well made queso. The asian fusion Pork belly taco is very delicious and well made- tender- sweet with some heat & fragrant rice & cabbage. My 5 yr old is a picky eater and he took down a Mr. Josh taco like an ice cold glass of water on a hot Texan day. This is my go to spot when Im having a rough day and need a treat. My coworkers, fam and friends love this place. We Love Yall!! Thanks for sharing your gift with our community. We love Lunas! Dietary restrictions: Doing keto do an Omega without tortilla double the meat & veggies. You wont regret it. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Lunas tacos is one of my daughters favorite places to eat and has grown to be one of mine. She is getting braces and has to go there to have chips and queso beforehand since she wouldnt be able to eat chips for a few days. We had a great lunch, staff is always polite and helpful as usual. Usual. And queso were amazing. Eat here if you get the chance. Parking: There is plenty of parking directly in front of the store. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has handicap parking.

Taco size is way too small for the price. My pork belly taco was more like a white rice, cabbage, and carrots taco with only 4 or 5 little pieces of pork belly. Was expecting only pork belly. They need to clarify whats in the tacos on the menu. I wouldnt have bought it if I knew all of that extra stuff was in it.

As someone who picks up orders. Alot of places I pick up from shows me places Id myself like to eat. Staff here is not welcoming and I wouldnt waste my money anywhere that has bad customer service to all people!!
