The food is amazing!! My husband and I shared mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, Cajun fries and a cheeseburger. We wanted to try a little bit of everything. Our fav was the fried pickles with blackened ranch. We will for sure order from here vs nearby fast food chains in the future when we re craving American food. Also, the staff is welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond with their service. The experience here is next level. You have to stop by to try!

I wanted to take the time to edit my review and give a more detailed response on why this place is so amazing! I come here every week or so because I m addicted to the fried pickles. Their burgers, fries, and the banana pudding WONDERFUL. They have a really good ranch sauce that goes with the fried pickles, to die for!!! Their service ONTOP of their good quality food is superior. They all are so friendly and make sure you re taken care of!

I have eaten onion rings in many different places, some were good and some are not. Nevertheless onion rings were always my favorite. When I see it in menu here and charging premium price ($12 plus) , I was excited and ordered . Man what a disaster! Just by look it was terrible so much batter and burned and oily. And taste awful , just trying to forget that experience. Plz guys get a frozen ones and fry it which is lot more better. I decided not to eat onion rings anywhere anytime .

The food is AMAZING and made to order!!! The staff was exceptionally friendly. Its a food truck in a food truck park. I had the double 1/2 pound patties with Cajun fries. SO GOOD!! I HIGHLY recommend Ambur Fire! I use to go grab a burger here every Thursday when I lived in round rock. It got to the point where they know my name! The burgers are the best I ve ever had! Honestly super tasty! The fried pickles are to die for. The service and atmosphere is so welcoming! Wish they had a location/truck in buda! The food and the service were horrible. Came here because of the reviews so we had to try it. Read how good the customer service was so that was a plus. First time there and didn t see anyone at the window. I went to the window but I m short so o still couldn t see anyone. So I went to the back since it was open & asked if they were open. The two guys that were working were not friendly at all. No Hi, no how you doing, no, how can one help you. He looked at me like I was bothering him. I told him this was our first time and he didn t offer any suggestions. We ordered two burgers, one was a double patty. We also got the Honey Jack Chicken Sandwich W / Fries. While we waited for our food I guess the boss came and dropped off some food for the business. He didn t seem friendly as well. We got our food & took it home & even though the service was Very Bad we were excited to eat the food. It was Horrible. The single and double smash burgers were Super Dry and thick for a smash burger. The burger was all soggy. My son said the honey chicken sandwich was extremely dry. He said the taste was good but could not eat it because it was overcooked and dry. The fries were greasy like they were cooked in old grease. I don t know how this place got voted the best burger because it is most definitely not. It almost tasted like the burgers from Mighty Fine burgers but dryer. I don t recommend this place. If I could give zero for customer service I would.

As a dasher, Ive picked up food from here for others a number of times and found myself wanting some for me just off the smells. Having finally tried it, I have to say it was worth it. The guys in the truck are awesome and friendly. The smells off the food cooking is amazing and the food itself is fantastic. Far better than your typical burger joint. Everything we had was great. I highly recommend the onion rings! Honestly the best I have ever had. The brisket burger was also incredible and dont forget that banana pudding!!! Had a lot of fun as well, eating at the picnic table with the family and letting the kids run around. Zero complaints from me and mine! Thank yall!

HUGE burgers! Sooo good! we love coming here with the kiddos and letting them play in the backyard area they have a sandbox, cornhole and more! The wings are my favorite and the fresh hand battered onion rings, YUM. Everything is great here, even the kids meals! Had to check this place out. Very good verity on Hamburgers. But one stood out the most. The Double bacon cheese burger on Texas toast Man, that was a Damn good Hamburger. Cool option on the build your own burger, same with the fries or the hand battered Oinion rings. I made a good choice on the Oinion rings.Those onion rings were the taste was point. My Girlfriend got the Brisket and she told me it was The Best Brisket shes had in Round Rock. Okay let me just say spent almost talking to the owner and that made the experience top-notch. I love the fire this Austin native has for food and quality of product coming out the truck. I knocked them down a bit because I anticipated the smash bigger having a thinner patty so went with a double and that baby was thick which is not bad from a value perspective. I got to meet Scott who s the owner just a down to earth guy who really has a passion and love to deliver quality food for people to enjoy I got the brisket sandwich which although only served on Saturday is very well worth the wait the bbq sauce which is made in house compliments it perfectly my side was onion rings which although the breading is sweet sort of like a funnel cake is what I can best compare it to went well with the sweet onion it was different but none the less delicious I had the blackened ranch for my sauce and let me tell you best ranch I ve ever had all in all I definitely will come back and try other things off this menu looks like everything is made with quality ingredients and from scratch which is amazing!

Delicious food at a great roadside spot. Limited parking in dirt lot. All outdoor seating, covered but open partially to the elements. Want a burger? Skip all those fast food and fancy dine-in places. Ambur Fire is my go-to place for hamburgers. This is a food trailer with counter service and bottled drinks. Dont pass by this gem. Their burgers delicious! A single is enough for most people. If you are really hungry you might be able to finish a double. You can order a triple but you probably wont be able to finish it. What really sets Ambur Fire apart is the flavor of their meat. They use quality meat and it really shines through in the flavor of their burgers. If you are in the mood for something spicy check out their jalapeño burger. Follow it up with jalapeño dip and Cajun fries. Cool off with some banana pudding!

This has been the best food I have ever eaten. The brisket was moist, tender, packed with Smokey flavor. THE BEST BRISKET I HAVE EVER HAD!! All of the food we have tried here so far has not let us down in the slightest. There wasn t a long wait time, but even if there was I would not care. I know it will be worth it. Heard about how amazing the burgers are here and had to come by. The truck is a decent size and they built up a nice covered seating area to dine in at. The owner was super friendly and helpful with ordering, the other staff was so helpful and nice too. Menu has good selection and options, from chicken tenders to burgers and onion rings. Had their Cajun fries too and they were delicious, the smash burgers are 1/2 pound and are so filling. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious, their honey hot sauce on the chicken tenders was so amazing, and the chicken was cooked perfectly, so moist and juicy. Their fried pickles are good too and cut in spears instead of the chips I was used to seeing, the star was their ranch though, it was amazing on the burger, fries, chicken, or anything. Second try. Didn t have brisket both tries. Owner out getting batter for onion rings. No brioche buns . Cowboy hamburger served with regular, buttery, greasy bread instead of Texas toast! Fries not cooked. For almost $40, will go to sit down restaurant, pay less and get better quality food. Trying to support local business so this one isn t getting our future support!

Definitely NOT fresh burgers as they claim. If you really know fresh meat, you can tell just by the grain when you bite into it. These are literally the equivalent to a Costco burger pattie. There was no flavor and nothing unique about them. The serving size of the fries were about the same as a kids meal you d get anywhere else. The service was great and the wait wasn t long but there is nothing that makes me want to go back. I couldn t even finish mine.

My first time there. A 30 minute wait and ordered 5 teriyaki and 5 plain wings. As you can see, I arrived home with 10 teriyaki wings. I guess I will have to rinse 5 off and throw them in the air fryer to satisfy my palate. (Rich people problems!!! ). I may give them one more try. UPDATE!!! Scott, the owner, called me the next day and empathized with my disappointment. He offered to replace the wings and also gave a sample of the brisket. The plain wings are delicious and my picky husband said that the brisket is definitely within the top 5 of all the BBQ places in all Texas! We will definitely go back!!!

Save Your MONEY!!! if the fries where no good, what can I expect from the rest of the food .... I left the 2 burgers and fries there, and my money. Did not even ask for a refund. Cute little food truck with a shipping container dining area, complete with a Pac-Man game, a few televisions mounted on the wall and a popcorn popper. We ordered burgers and they were pretty good. I expected a more pit smoked burger since they also serve barbecue but it was more of a flattop grilled burger. Overall B+

For the second time the food and service were terrific. The place is a food trailer with a heated indoor/outdoor patio. It was cold today, and having a heated area, where you could sit down, watch a little tv or play some games was a huge game changer for me. I will be eating at Ambur Fire again very soon.

I feel so bad I didn t get pictures but this place is, what the kiddos call, fire!! Pun intended. The food was cooked fresh and came out hot. We got the BLT and the buffalo chicken tenders with krinkle(spelling?) fries and a couple of drinks. The BLT had a ton of bacon on it and the buffalo tenders were actually tender! You could see the juices dripping off of them after each bite. The fries were seasoned to perfection. I wish I would have asked them what seasoning they used. Everything was so delicious, we couldn t think of a single thing wrong with the entire order. By far the best tasting food truck I ve ever been to. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. It s in the same parking area as Eli s Produce Market a little bit past the Walmart on 79.

Edit: we tried Ambur Fire again today, 9/12/22. A couple months ago the owner reached out and offered a gift card. It was much better and enjoyable this time. The owner was working and gave us a banana pudding to try also. I do wish they offered smaller burgers. 1/2 pound is just a bit too much for me and my son. Otherwise the customer service and taste were great! We decided to try Ambur Fire tonight and have to say we were incredibly disappointed. Fries were soggy with grease, burgers insanely soggy with grease. There was no line yet it somehow took 40 minutes to make 4 burgers. Insanely priced and while yes the burgers are big, they were almost too big and the flavor was just not there. I had high hopes because we have seen some great reviews for this place but it did not meet expectations. Edited to add: they asked for me to email them to discuss this issue and then when I did with the order name, order number and date, they never responded. I gave them several days to reply to the email but nothing. Looks like they don t want to resolve any issue.

Delicious burgers! I tried the hawaiin burger and if you love pineapple/ham/cheese you will love it. My boyfriend had the jalepeño one and he said it was super good! Love that they have a shaded area + fans to sit and eat which is absolutely essential in Texas. Even have TV and games to make it a whole experience. Will definitely come back for more!

They are ok. Not sure it lived up to the hype everyone in the area always gives it. We ordered onion rings which were 8$ and had to send them back. The box might have had six of them in there and it s not like they were a good size. When questioning the guy, he went on a deal about how much it cost in oil to fill up his fryer bla bla. If I pay $8 for onion rings I expect at least more than a kids portion. The portion we were served is what local places in round rock normally charge about $4 for. They also advertised Cajun fries that they claim to be dusted in Cajun seasoning and really good . No . It s just normal fries with a generic Cajun seasoning but barely any actual seasoning. They also must have used a salt free seasoning and they were screaming for salt when eating them. My burger was also extremely over done and dry. All you can taste is the pepper covering the sandwich and not the meat. Definitely not worth $12. I m pretty sure they are frozen because the outer edges were much more done than the middle but still consistently over cooked and dry throughout. If these were fresh meat like they claim it wouldn t be difficult to tear the burger apart and you d at least see some juice. This might answer my question as to why we waited for our food so long being the only people I m all for supporting small business so I d give it another shot but I hate to admit I ve had burgers 1000xs better at hat creek up 79 and hall of fame in downtown Hutto for 1/2 the price.

My family of 5 and I decided to try Ambur Fire for the first time since hearing about it from so many people. We waited on our order for over 45 minutes. The food finally arrived, we took it home and was disappointed in the quality of food. The burgers were really dry with no flavor, our bacon wasnt cooked thoroughly and the fries were burned. For the price that we paid (not cheap at all), I thought we would get what we paid for. Highly dissatisfied, simple as that!

This was not for us. The burger was thick, not smashed. We live 5 minutes away, ordered there (so it had not been sitting), and by the time we got home the top bun was so soggy it was grossly inedible. Sauces should be on the side for all to go orders. I have been to this place at least 8 times now. My favorite burger is the Blazing Jalapeno Jack burger, but everything I have tried there has been amazing. Ambur Fire is serving up the best burgers in the Austin area. After you have finished your burger and fries, if you have any room left, get the Southern Banana Pudding. Burgers were way over cooked and hard. Mozz sticks and fried pickles were cold and soggy. I reheated them but the pickles were still salty mush. Fries were cold, soggy & under seasoned. That s basically all they have on DoorDash so I didn t get to try the brisket or other items.

Burger was good, but not what I would consider a smash burger like they advertised. The patties were pretty big and thick. My main problem was with the wait. We were told about 25 mins, but ended up waiting over an hour. When the food was ready, they were very apologetic stating all the door dash/pre-orders they had, so that seems to me they KNEW it would be more than 25 mins before I got my order and I dont appreciate that. I would have come back at another time and they might have gotten a better review.

They do have other options like brisket which I do hope to try in the near future, but sometimes it s hard to try something new when the burgers seem to always hit the spot . We had heard good things about this food truck nearby and decided to try it out. We ordered online and the website said 30 minutes before our food would be ready. We arrived at our designated time and saw there was a fair-sized crowd, which we thought was a good sign meaning the food must be good. It soon became apparent though that they were basically overrun by orders. When I asked for our order we were told we would have to wait more with no estimate on time. The truck seemed to be staffed by one man and two high-school or early college age men and they looked overwhelmed. After an extra 20 minute wait, our order was finally ready to go and we took it home. When separating our order, we saw they hadnt gotten our order quite right as far as dressings. Still, we were pretty hungry so we dug in. After a few bites, it became very obvious that our burgers were raw on the inside. They had seared the outside but hadnt cooked the inside properly. This was completely unacceptable after a 50 minute wait for our food. My wife and I had to throw our burgers away and just eat the fries and onion rings. Those side items were good, but for the high price it was a very disappointing experience overall and I do not recommend this vendor.

I grew up on Snow s barbecue out in Lexington, TX and AmburFire has the best brisket I ve ever had. Snow s has struggled with Franklin s for No. 1 BBQ in Texas, so I would go as far as to say that Scott smokes the best brisket in Texas! That said, the burgers are on par with the BBQ no doubt in my mind. Y ALL NEED TO GO TRY THIS!!!!
