Every time I order from here there is either something missing or the order is wrong. The prices for the salads are insane I can understand the loaded ones but $12.99 but for the Caesar salad which only comes with lettuce chicken and dressing is insane maybe add some cheese and croutons make it worth the money. The only positive thing I have to say is how nice the lady was at the window.

The last two times, I patronized this Georges restaurant was not good. The first, there was one table with customers we sat down and three employees were talking with each other, after about seven minutes of watching them visit we got up and patronized another restaurant. The second, at my wifes instance, there were two tables with customers eating. We ordered, and about 17 minutes later, we received our hamburgers. There were no other orders up for the cook. I would understand if there were other customers, but we were the only orders he had. The food was ok, I had to go twice to get refills since the waitress was busy watching the grass grow. I will be surprised if this restaurant is still open a year from now.

Ive gone to this establishments twice in the last month or so..and this will more than likely be my last. The first time the food was far below my expectations I had the steak finger dinner it was way over cooked. My most recent food purchase was a regular breakfast burrito, sausage, egg, and cheese. Not only did the burrito not have any flavor at all the lady that waited on me was very rude. If by chance the owner of this restaurant reads this please get better training for the people that work at your restaurant.

We have enjoyed going to the townhouse but right before Christmas we took my sister and brother-in-law there. Yes the music is so loud I got nauseated I had to take my food home and not enjoy the meal with my family.. Many people have complained about the music being so loud when we ask one of the male servers to turn the music down he said well the people here like the music to be loud. We will not be coming back until I hear that they put that music low enough where you can have a conversation across the table. I am really sad that nothing has been done about this SHAME ON You

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. It has been years since I last visited Georges in Lubbock and I was glad to see they have not changed. They are still a good local chain to get some good home style Texas cooking. Nothing fancy, but delicious and at a great price. I had their chicken fried steak and my wife had their grilled pork chop. Both were on the lunch special for $10.99 , which is about the best price I have paid for a restaurant meal in a long time. Our server was very sweet and attentive. If you are in Lubbock and you want some great prices home style cooking in an old cafe style restaurant, then Georges should be on your list.

Geoges Restaurant is a very convenient place to have breakfast, their food is fresh and very well cooked, my omelet arrived on time, soft, fresh and low in salt, without any fat. The eggs were just the way we ordered them. 100 points for the chef, the attention we received was extraordinary, very friendly and always attentive to what we needed, I would say very familiar, their prices are good as well as their hygiene, we liked their atmosphere, everyone works in harmony, that has a lot of influence in the state of mind of everyone who comes to eat, I congratulate you, do not lose that path, thank you for this pleasant morning, we will return!! Let me begin by saying, this is a good place to eat. Period!! Food is Good , its Clean , its a Safe environment. ETC. You probably wont get your bacon or hash browns or fries cooked the way you order them , & you wont get enough fish on Friday as you want , for the price, but , Hey! Were getting price gouged everywhere, right.? But considering what We pay at Wendys , Whataburger , McDonalds, ESPECIALLY McDonalds ,definitely a good stop. Parking: Parking is available in front of Georges. It can fill up quickly at lunch. Kid-friendliness: Hey! Ive never seen anyone complain about kids. Havnt seen that many there. Just remember, Theyre your kids , makem behave. LOL I personally would prefer Dogs. Wheelchair accessibility: Ive had some experience of being in a wheelchair for a couple months , and if youre by yourself It is difficult to maneuver a wheel chair since you go through Two seperate doors.( the 2 doors are a great thing though since we live in the Dustbowl.) & if I recall correctly, even though it hasnt been that long since I ate Breakfast there , the doors are standard man door size & thats always difficult since they dont open automatically.

We had time Im between baseball games so I figured we would try this place out, worst experience ever! We waited over an hour for our food and went to tell the waitress we had to leave just to get charged for our meal that we never received. A larger group showed up after us ( my family of 3) and were served theirs first. This waitress didnt offer to make things right with us at all. Not to mention the entire wait staff was in the back just standing around not checking on tables at all.This is definitely not a place to go eat unless you want to wait forever!

I took my family here to eat breakfast. This place used to be so amazing and everything has changed in a very bad way. We will never ever come here again. We had to sit at a dirty table for 30 minutes waiting for someone to clean it and finally serve us. When the lady finally came she took our drinks and our food order. After that she never came back. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food. My fiancé and I looked in the kitchen. They had plates of food stacked on top of each other like they were dirty plates. The employees were touching the food with there bare hands and throwing it on the plate. It was very unsanitary and very disgusting. Once we noticed that we decided to leave. That was a very disgusting environment and very unprofessional. I highly recommend not coming here. If I could give negative stars I would.

Since Covid I have been placing to go orders at this restaurant without incident until last week when out of the three platters I ordered only one was accurate. I called a few days later and was told by Saeed that there was no record of that botched order but I could call back when the other manager was there.. maybe she d remember me. What!?! Okay.. I ll call back later. So I call back a day later and was placed on hold for ten minutes then hung up on. Y all just lost a long time customer who supported you during COVID restrictions.
