Very poor service today from this crew. Not very accurate with the whole take 5 advertising. Very slow service when there was only one other customer. Whole experience lasted close to an hour for just an oil change. Distinct lack of leadership among the team. Everyone seemed to be looking for guidance to no avail. Hopefully better next time. And no complimentary water!

I didnt appreciate the manager reaching inside my car to grab my keys. He said it was policy. Things could ve went terribly wrong for him. They need to coach their staff better. Also checking my cabin with no consent. I keep my weapon in there sometimes. I expected better from round rock

I went here for the first time since it s conveniently located near my job. I am not pleased to say it will be my last time at a Take 5. Staff was not very attentive, seemed like everyone was sagging their pants and wasn t wearing their uniform properly. All I got was an oil change and it seemed like that s all they wanted to do to get me out of there. I was hoping they would check all the fluids, tire pressure, etc. you know the standard stuff for an oil change but I guess not. I would advise going elsewhere for an oil change and stay away from this location.

Every time I ve visited no checking fluids, no air pressure check and the last visit they acted like it would be a long wait as they were so called under staffed with 4 employees and only 1 car in the bay?!?! Had a coolant flush next day my coolant light came on and car started overheating.

The location at 2151 Gattis School Rd in Round Rock is the best. Friendly and courteous people working there that don t pressure you to upsell things you don t need yet. Service was quick enough yet still thorough. I returned to this location after having a less than pleasant experience at the location in San Marcos with a rude technician. I will continue to take all my vehicles to this Round Rock location. Very pleased with those folks.

Waited for 33 minutes while they serviced other lines that get there after me. The excuse was The client didn t have payment but if that s the case, don t make me suffer, move them out of the way. I was a repeat customer, but I ll never come back with my 3 vehicles. Very disappointed with the service, I even brought my own oil and filter because I was in a rush, took an hour of my day when it should have been 5-10 minutes.

I waited 10-20 minutes with my car off in the heat, dripping sweat, then the manager tried upselling me. After another 20 min of sitting there with my hood open and no one working on my car the manager comes back to tell me the last place I went to stripped my bolt, but if that s so then they would not have been able to get the bolt back on. This place stripped my bolt trying to take it off and lied to me in hopes to not deal with me anymore.

Just returned for a second vehicle and just like the first, outstanding service! The guys here always in such a good mood and super friendly. Within 25 minutes I had my oil and air filter changed out. From the small details of giving the customer a bottle of water to a great attitude throughout, I really appreciate this place. I love take 5. They were kind and sparked up a quick conversation amidst doing my oil change and cabin air filter, and being so busy at that location. I even got a water to go. And they even had me do a safety test at 2.5 rpms. I had never done that at any other take 5 let alone ANY other oil change place. And of course they checked my air pressure and topped off all my fluids. Ill always go to take 5. Thank you guys at Take 5!

So I originally came to this location bc they had good reviews. But in the end i had the WORST experience. First off, they tried to charge me $130+ and even tried to start the service before I agreed to. I ended up telling them I didn t want the service and I assumed they put everything under the hood back correctly. Well I was wrong, they left my OIL CAP OFF! I drove around town, assuming my car was fine, and eventually smelled something burning and when I got out to check my car, it was smoking under the hood!! LIKE WHO LEAVES AN OIL CAP OFF BEFORE CLOSING THE HOOD?! I had to go to Toyota and get my engine bay cleaned out bc of their mistake, which I got charged for!! And on top of it they can t even answer the phones! I called multiple numbers to complain and none answered. Anyways I wouldn t go here if you value ur car! Look below for pics of proof:)

First time to this location. It took to long. Its the second time a tech overfilled the funnel cuasing oil to spill all over my engine. Did not bother to clean properly. I like the speed of Take 5 but I have a large van and I have to buy more oil so my coupon didn t help me that much. They didn t have a replacement air filter in the right size for my vehicle. The employees were very nice and considerate and friendly. I just don t feel it was worth what I paid. It seems everything is so expensive and I m a senior citizen so I don t get salary raises like other people and it is a lot of money to me especially since I don t drive as much any more. But the service itself and the people there were awesome.

Great experience with Take 5. They have many working on the car and have a supervisor perform a quality check before letting you leave, to ensure all is proper with your car. They have great prices and honor their coupon even if you did t have one from the beginning. Plus they watrant the wiper blades they install and will replace if they begin to fail. This is by far the best Take 5 location. I went during my lunch break and there was a line. I decided to stick around and glad I did because I was in and out very quickly. A huge thank you to Brittany for her excellent service. She was very knowledgeable about what oil I needed and even reminded me about the coupons on the website. Brittany did an excellent job directing cars with how busy it was and did a great job on my oil change. This is the only location I will be using. 10,000 stars for Brittany and staff!

First time to use Take5 and was not impressed. Waited in line for 30 minutes while every bay was full with other customers that were supposed to get 10 minute service. Then they tried to sell me up because I had HIGH mileage (131,000) on a 10 year old car. I chose a lesser package but was told that they were out of that oil. I chose not to have a new air filter or cabin filter and I could tell that upset them. Oil change, after they started took 15 minutes. I never saw an adult. Just a bunch of young Kids. I will NOT go back!

Take 5? More like take 60. I arrived at 4:15 and the technicians were unable to service the car in the bay, and the one behind it before closing time at 5pm. Ive come here a few times in the past and the service was at least fast. Not sure whats going on now but the place is going downhill. The technicians dont even have pants on, they were wearing what looked like basketball shorts and muscle shirts that had seen better days. In hindsight, its probably fortuitous they didnt get to my car before closing time. Im gonna try a different location.

The staff were very friendly but a little unorganized. It felt like the main goal of their service was for them to upsell me. I understand that new staff need trained on how to upsell a product but it was a bit excessive. I went in for an oil change because this is where I usually go. I didn t recognize anyone from my previous visits. They did the standard checks - topped off my tires & told me my coolant reservoir was nearly empty. I asked them to top it off because I had a full coolant change at this location a few months ago. They continue with the oil change and proceed to check my cabin air filter under the glove box. The technician struggled to find the location of the air filter and repeatedly went to grab different tools and said he would be right back to finish it . Once the oil change was complete , they started to wave me out of the garage - my glovebox and its contents were still scattered all over my floorboard . I asked them to finish the job they started. (I did not buy a new cabin filter). All in all i was unsatisfied with my latest visit. I usually honk when I leave but I did not this time. After looking under my hood, I also found my coolant was not topped off so now I have to take a trip back to get that done. Last thought does this business do drug testing? because I got the vibe that a few stoners work here.

The guys were very friendly at this (Gattis School Rd) location but that s where the experience went downhill quickly! I had to wait until I actually got to pull in only to find out they didn t have my wife s car s oil filter and was told they could order one but I d have to come back another time OR the could call their supplier to check if one could be delivered while I wait! I already knew the 5 Minute Oil Change timer was gonna drastically expire! I agreed to wait for the delivery and then they went to work on the vehicle, draining all the old oil! At this time I m now kidnapped and waiting for the filter delivery (hopefully)! A vehicle pulled up and in front of the bay, I was relieved but it was just a couple of their girl friends! One of the 3 guys then decided it was time to go pizza for everyone! This same employee (whom seemed to be overly happy IMO) almost pulled the wrong (but even better) oil for my vehicle but the Mgr caught it in time (Shame!). To cut to the gist of my poor review, as I m driving away I noticed a strange, weird sound coming from under the motor that wasn t there before! I immediately returned to the shop and explained what I had heard, and they told me to wait as there were other customers now in front of me and that had to be completed before they could check it out! Finally, 30+ mins later it was my turn (Again) to pull into the bay! One employee (in charge of pulling the oil drain plug) jumped down into the bay underneath my wife s car, socket & ratchet in hand and began tightening up the loose oil drip pan cover that he obviously had forgotten to tighten or had reinstalled incorrectly! I wasn t really given a reason for what he was doing under there, (due to embarrassment I assume) but I finally got to be on my way over (total time, beginning to end) an hour later not the 5 minutes as their name states! Unacceptable!

They get the star because it was the fastest Ive ever received service there. Technicians were in basketball shorts and tshirts, and smoking, one was on the phone with a girlfriend while he was under my car, the other was mocking another customer as he drove away because the customer didnt know what kind of oil filter his car used. That technician also didnt know what type of oil filter and had to call someone. They didnt give me a receipt and blocked my exit by just talking to a random person that pulled up in the middle of the traffic way. This is not my first time at this location, last time I received great service, the technicians were informative and were training a new tech and apologized for the time it was taking, completely understandable and I told them dont worry about it. This was a complete 180, I have no desire to go back to this location.

STAY AWAY!! Would give ZERO stars if possible. Took my 2022 Honda in for an oil change and it was not done correctly causing serious damage to my engine. When trying to call no one answered after numerous calls and unable to leave a voicemail. I had to Uber from where my car broke down and they refused to tow my car or offer a rental car. The service I received was speedy and affordable. I could tell this establishment was very well managed. I could tell they were actively training a new employee. However, this didn t slow them down whatsoever. Everyone I spoke with was very polite and respectful, and they were very forthcoming with information about my vehicle. If you need a part that is not in stock (Oil filter, Air filter, Wiper Blades, ect..) they can order parts locally from O Rileys AND have it delivered all while you leisurely wait in your car!! Additionally, I noticed that they had topped off my Windshield Washer fluid and performed a general road safety assessment. They took about 50 minutes instead of 5, most of the people there took their time with each customer, and they kept trying to upsell me on things. I did not need for my car. I recommend Jiffy Lube. They are much quicker if you re just getting an oil change.

They are unprofessional made me wait for 2 hours just to tell me they don t have the right oil for my car talk should come to the peoples car and make sure you have the right oil first. My time was wasted I had to put on hold important errands for this. I don t recommend anyone gives this place their business.

Highly recommended and the only place I will bring my car for oil-change from now on. This location on 2151 Gattis School Rd, Round Rock, TX 78664 definitely deserved 5/5 stars rating. Excellent service and great price. Very kind, polite, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable manager & staff. I asked some questions regarding car and answered/advised me with honesty and not try to ripped me off or sell me somethings that are unnecessary. I went there again 3 days after my oil changed and they took their time without hesitant to figured out why my oil change light was on and they fix the issue in a breeze.

I absolutely LOVE going to the Take 5 on Gattis School! They are always very kind and patient! Even when it is over 100 degrees outside, they are still nice to their customers and make sure we are taken care of.
