Honestly just a terrible experience all around, to start it of I ask the cashier if they are doing the $1 off special right now which she said yes. I do my order and after I paid and sit down I noticed my total was slightly higher than it should ve been. I go back to the cashier and she said I noticed when you walked away I didn t apply the discount I felt so bad I m sorry LIKE WHAT???? YOU DONT THINK TO SAY ANYTHING? Her manager then comes in who by the way is probably the most unprofessional manager I have ever crossed paths with in my entire life. Made me feel like a burden the entire time she was Helping and just ended up double charging my card to get my refund when I told them I m cool with just a comped item so I don t have to wait for funds. She didn t give me the time of day before cutting me off. Aside from that food was lackluster, chips were hard and queso was cold as well as my Baja shrimp tacos. Will not be visiting this location again. Ps. I will include a pic of the very rude manager so you guys know exactly who to look out for next time you are here.

Was missing the burrito grande and called and told them it was missing. They asked if I wanted it refunded or remade. I told them remade please. and when I showed up it was actually refunded and I had to reorder the order. I am sorry for getting snappy with the cashier. I apologized to her. It was not her fault but very little was done to make this right accept I was placed back at the bottom of the line when I had to reorder and it could take up to 10 days to get the refund. It s not ever been this bad.

Food is great - when they get my order correct. I order Torchys frequently through Doordash. And this is the third time they completely altered my order after I placed it and without my authorization. Doordash helps me resolve it with a refund. But that doesnt change the fact that Torchys is changing my order and giving me incorrect food. Im pretty sick of this.

Wasn t greeted when I walked in. The place is empty so I didn t think they were open. When I got up to the counter the girl behind the counter was more focused on her food. (I don t think fixing your own food or eating in front of customers is professional) She saw me standing at the counter and decided to finish putting sauce on her own food before even looking at me. I told her what I wanted to order. She originally got my order wrong and I had to repeat it. Three breakfast tacos. It was a simple order with no modifications. And then she assumed that I was getting food to go. She didn t ask. She had major attitude as I was walking away Food is always good tho. So disappointed in the customer service. If you re that hungry, you should ve eaten before you clocked on.

If I could give 0 stars I totally would. These people get so overwhelmed they don t know what s happening in front of them. I had to ask about my Togo order 7 times before someone went back to check it. I m very unsatisfied and would rather spend my money at the taco truck 45 minutes away where they value my time and at least look me in the eye. The whole place just needs to relax and take a breath. Jesus.

Do yourself a favor and go to the other Round Rock location off 35. I ve been there multiple times and I m treated with respect. Here however, I was basically told I was taking too long to look at the menu and they allowed a couple to cut in front of me even though I already knew what I wanted. Then when I finally ordered I was met with extremely rude customer service. And when they were passing out my food I told them that I didn t order something that they put on my table and they gave me attitude and acted like it was my fault. The food itself was good but because of the service, I m never coming back to this location.

I honestly never leave reviews on restaurants, but I have ordered from here 3 or 4 times at various times of the year and my orders have always been messed up. I never receive the correct sauces and get sauces I never requested. I ve also ordered a taco on corn and couldn t even eat it because it just fell entirely apart. If you knew the Torchys of old then you are very much aware of how this place has devolved over time. Last night we attempted re-light the old flame that was our love of Torchys. We took two of our five kids in tow with us eager to rekindle old memories. Old memories that will remain as old ones and not revived. First, the prices were about 30% higher and the contents of the tacos far less plentiful. The tortillas were cold to the touch and if you are a true taco lover then you would be offended by the low quality of the tortillas. This is just another Austin original that has lost the awe of its glory days. Another great idea at its inception that has been corrupted by consultants leading the cause of expansion and increased margins. We will still stop by every now and then for queso togo but probably wont buy another taco!

Weve eaten at Torchys many times over the years.... Its always a treat, especially now with the tacos being almost $6 each. This last visit was disappointing though. The brisket was sooo dry. This is really poor quality at that price.

Walked in to order eat in; it was unclear if 1 line served both to go orders and eat in orders. Service was timely and food was delivered to our table quickly. I found that the question should have been hotter(temperature), and I wouldnt mind waiting to have it served so. The flavor of queso was great. Chips were fresh. Parking: Plenty parking but if can get full in this lot!
