Great Service and employees. Sylvia is a great manager and server. All checking on us. Made sure our drinks were always filled and handled all our extra requests. She is the best and nicest server we have ever had. Parking: Wheel chair accessible. Handicap parking by the front door. We were charged 18% gratuity because we asked for a little bigger table for our grand child to sit at. The manager wanted to cram 4 adults and a high chair around a smaller table. We have never been charged a gratuity for literally a party of 4. It s usually charged on like a party of 6+. The waitress was great, food was good but the management is terrible. We were never told this would be added to our bill and that is very shady.

Recently had a Family Reunion dinner here and everything g was fantastic!!! I use to come here all the time and I m so happy I planned our last dinner together here. 07/2024 - No longer a fan of the place. Quality seems to vary too much, from good to bad. I appreciate that the plate is hot, but that does little to impress when the fajita meat is room temp on a hot plate. That tells me a lot about the practice in the kitchen.

Okay! Ewe! We stopped in for a lunch and margaritas. Margaritas were so so. The white wings were far from what we received here in the past. After eating a few hard to cut with a knife and cold inside and odd texture. I noticed they were pink in the middle and no, it wasn t the sauce. They were undercooked . This is yet another place to cross off the list for quite some time. Service was great.

It has been years in town visiting family and needed a good Tex-mex kick. While living in Georgetown decades ago, would always make the drive down to La Margarita for the house made tortillas and amazing margaritas. This visit was just as I remember! The food was spot on and the margs hit the spot. Shared a chicken and beef fajitas plate and had to get a chile rellano plate. Both were plates were spot on. Also recommend sharing a chunky guacamole with the table to start off! Service was prompt and extremely friendly and the only noticeable issue was that the room was a little loud. Nothing to really complain about, just hard floors and little to break up the room. Overall our group was extremely impressed and will make sure to visit again while in town!

La Margaritas margaritas we re just ok. We ordered a house and a guava, mediocre at best, the tequila they use tasted awful. Sadly the best thing we were served was service with a smile and the salsa. Salsa is very fresh tasting with no spice at all, refreshing on a summer night. I ordered the Lime Chicken salad (1star) and we got the Chicken tortilla soup (2stars) salty. While they have a dog friendly patio, it is by far the worst patio I ve ever been to. It is tucked on the side of the restaurant facing a ditch with no breeze or sunlight coming through and while we appreciated the accommodations, we felt so isolated.

The secret here is everything is made including their tortillas which is a must for Mexican food restaurants. Keep in mind the portions are big. We had a large queso because we wanted the queso with everything in it and the menu said it only came in large. We left with a lot of queso :) My wife got the flautas which were fat and she loves them. I got the large mixed quesadilla which was delicious and WAY too much but I made two more meals out of the leftovers. I had a Mojito which I was not a huge fan of, I think they made it with Sprite... Way too sweet. Then I switched over to Margaritas which is the way to go. They were good. This was definitely one of the better Mexican food places I have been to in the area. Definitely coming back and will try new things. Oh and it was cheap.

If you have to put salsa, salt, pepper on the food to give it flavor then this is the place for you. The charro beans tasted like right out of the can with absolutely no hint of spices. Stopped here on a recommendation, looking forward to a good meal. What we had was a rude server, and subpar food. Some wasnt even what we ordered, but did not want to complain due to the rude server. The chicken cordon queso was not cooked through, the Carne asada was supposed to be stew-but the person who ate it said it was ok. Drinks never refilled, asked if queso had hot peppers, server said no. It most definitely did. Not likely to return here.

Love the food but the waitress was rude. We ordered an appetizer and wanted it before our meal and she delivered it with our meal. She didnt apologize or acknowledge what she did. It took the entire meal to deliver a beer. She acted like she didnt care at all and I didnt care to leave her a good tip either. I almost always leave a very good tip. Not with her.

Give this place a shot! I was skeptical at first and have driven by here a million times never giving it a second thought. We finally made it in and were blown away! The staff are welcoming quick and amazing! The food was right on par with the staff! Drinks are great as well! We ll definitely be coming back and bringing out friends! Can t wait to start making our way through their extensive menu!
