The attorney James Coleman is smart, direct, and a bulldog when necessary. He s a straight shooter, even though it means sometimes hearing things that are not fun to have pointed out to you. I recommend him for family law and custody cases.

I learned about Skylar and how much she had helped others through people that I knew personally. I reached out to her for help with my divorce and she answered the calling. I was immediately impressed by how fast she reacted and did things in a timely manner. She did everything she said she would and I would strongly recommend her to any one that needs a good lawyer to stand on their behalf. She took care of me and my situation and I know she would do the same for any future clients.

Decided to go elsewhere. My wife needed to find a lawyer who would represent her on a post nup another firm completed. She was told on May 3rd that they would get back to her at the end of the week. 2 weeks pass, and my wife sends two emails for an update. After that, the lawyer missed sending the link for a scheduled Zoom call. I then noticed we are being charged $49 dollars per email(the emails were asking for an update). At that point, we decided to ask for our retainer back and go somewhere else. Ended up being charged for 3 emails, not only are we out the money, but more importantly, out of the time that was wasted. The place is run very sloppy.

Justice Law Firm is too notch! They are leading in the industry and up to date on the laws in Texas and know what is needed to get your case the attention it needs to get you justice. I was desperate for a firm to represent me for a child custody case. This was handled with speed an no nonsense! Tracey and her team are compassionate and caring to get the job done right the first time. I highly recommend Justice Law Firm if you want your case heard and won.

I came to Justice Law Firm in southlake with my sister and paid initial consultation, they gave me a quote that needed to be paid before signed and months latter they contact me from collection s saying I owed a similar outstanding balance because of lawyer fees, answering my emails, calls etc. I never received an invoice nor email with new invoice so had no idea until collections called. Be aware that if you think you paid all upfront you will receive another bill.

I had hired Nicole Carroll to represent me in my divorce. She failed to represent my interests and deferred to opposing counsel on key items. For example, she tried to pressure me into agreeing to pay spousal support and continue to provide my soon to be ex with a credit card with a 25k limit that I would be responsible for. We basically fired each other and I was able to complete the divorce to my satisfaction on my own. Edit: In response to the firms response below, the example I cited was done over email of which I have copies. There is no other interpretation of those emails as I was explicitly told to provide my ex with a free credit card while also providing spousal support despite my protests. When taken together with derogatory generalizations that Ms. Carroll made about her other male clients this may suggest a bias against men. I would happily waive attorney-client privilege so that the firm can post a copy of all emails for others to determine what happened on their own. We can also share the emails about the disastrous performance of Ms. Carroll at mediation. Sunshine is sometimes the best disinfectant. I have nothing to gain from this review. Like I said, I was happy with the final outcome that I achieved on my own. To the firm, feel free to have the last word. I have spent all the time I care to spend on this.

I met Tracey in 2011 while needing her services for my divorce. I randomly would run into her at networking function, and eventually she and I became friends. I highly recommend Justice Law Firm and their team for your legal services. My next appointment will be to set up my family for the future. Review might have been 5 stars if Brent never left but as soon as he did it was all downhill. It seemed like Brent cared but the same can t be said about the rest. This is a good place if your pockets run deep and you do not care about the outcome of your situation. If you want to be treated like a human and a client not an invoice then this is not the place for you. At one point I knew I was going to acquire more fees moving forward in my case so I paid $300 to get ahead on my account just for new invoices to be added to my account (without any contact from the firm at all nor any services to amass more fees) putting my account back in a negative status. Communication was poor regarding my actual case but regarding invoices they couldn t have been more persistent. I wouldn t recommend especially considering it s already a troubled time for most people to deal with this type of stuff. They will only add to your troubles.

Tracey Justice is a wonderful person and her practice also gives back to our community. Tracey is on the Board of Stepping Stones Foundation, a non-profit that supports homeless and at risk youth in crisis. Her firm handles custody, & guardianship cases which are complex and performs many background checks. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm as your local legal go-to. One of the previous reviews stated that Tracey judged them on their appearance which is so false. Tracey works with Stepping Stones families who are from all walks of life with tattoos, drug addictions, homeless and have criminal records. This is not new for her and she treats them all with respect and as any other client.

Where to start, Costs $150 to book a consult, which is not too bad same as what I charge for my consults so we understood that procedure. Then after a glowing referral by another attorney my wife and I showed up for our meeting, almost immediately we were judged by Tracy Justice. See my wife and I are tattoo artists, Myself owning a successful business for over 25 years now (mentioned that to her a couple times to try and get her to understand I m a professional, she never acknowledged that I had said it at all). I completely understand that is not everyones choice of appearance but the appropriate response would have been for her to immediately just say she couldnt or wasnt interested in taking the case, instead she proceeded with no tact at all when addressing my wife that is having issues with her mentally/physically abusive and controlling ex. It was like she didnt have any experience with past abused spouses at all? Or it was the other that I took it as, the dislike of tattooed clients and immediately dismissing us as people who could not afford her services. Sadly, I believe she is a very competent attorney, if you fit into the look that she is interested in helping through the legal system. After such inappropriate statements as what s wrong with doctor prescribed medication I take medication daily even if she does I dont believe this is something she should discuss with potential clients, then went on to say while discussing facial tattoos which neither my wife or I have, she says to my wife Ill kick your ass myself if you get a face tattoo keep in mind this is our first meeting and we haven t even discussed hiring her yet?? Then she went on to tell us how she had met with this tattooed person awhile back needing help and she was scared and thought he was a drug dealer trying to launder money through her? For the life of me I couldnt even think of why this was relevant other than her total disgust of having to talk with us. I have several attorneys that I deal with on a regular basis through my business and personal life, this is the first time I ve met with one that was in my opinion very unprofessional and insulting. I guess if she deems you are worthy of fitting into her approval for help, you May get some from her... I wish I could rate this negative stars, its been a long time since Ive felt this kind of personal judgment from someone I was interviewing to hire.
