Every time we come Karen our waitress is absolutely amazing. She remembered us after our first visit and has given the best customer service time and time again. She truly cares about the customers and it shows! She is the main reason for our continued visits! The food is great and always hot and fresh. But once again Karen keeps us coming back!

While waiting on cashier a lady came up and said that a kid had threw up in the foyer, people were walking in vomit tracking it back into the restaurant b/c he had to wait until a manager came up to notify them they needed a mop. The food was delicious and most of the items were full of flavor and I was pleased. They had great options and you could choose from items that were different from other restaurants. The steaks, chicken, pot roast and all were delicious. The atmosphere was nice as well, and quiet yet conversive. The service was the only thing that couldve been better, as I didnt get any refills on my water, noone asked if they could get me more, or if I needed anything. They would eventually come and get my plates, but that was the extent

Eat here often. Food can be great sometimes and off other times. That said, its usually great. Their fried chicken is fantastic!!! The waitstaff are always wonderful. I cant say enough good things about the waitstaff. Never had to ask for a refill, ever! They also always give me a senior discount even though Im 40 but the chemotherapy makes me look old and I love discounts!!!! I recommend trying them if you like that old style of food as in potatoes and gravy stuff.

It is looking a little dated inside, but the food was good, as was the price! The fried chicken is delicious. I also tried menudo Mexican soup, which was new for me, and it was really good as well, and spicy. I actually dipped some of my other food into it for extra flavor, because I love spicy. The Buffet is awesome. The servers are great. Karen, Debra, Roxanne, Miss Betty, Jesus, and all the servers are friendly and fast . If you havent been to Sirloin Stockade you need to go. Vegetarian options: The salad bar has a lot of vegan options. Kid-friendliness: Our grandkids love all the options for them. We love it because our grandkids and kids can find something on the menu to eat that makes them happy.

Sirloin Stockade is next to a place a friend and I frequent a few times per year, and we generally go here after. While theres nothing spectacular about the food, it is generally hot and somewhat fresh. The buffet is relatively small compared to most other buffets Ive been to, so, while they rotate some of the items, the bulk of the food is mostly the same. Staff ranges from friendly to non-existent. It just depends who youre assigned. Refills are sometimes lacking when your waiter/waitress disappears. Overall, this isnt a place that would ever be my first choice for the most part, but if you are looking for food that is hot in a clean restaurant thats relatively affordable, this is the place.

I hadnt been to a Sirloin Stockade in many years. A friend talked me into going, and mentioned a buffet. What? When did SS start doing a buffet? I havent done the buffet thing since before Covid shut them down, and then I lost 110 pounds. Having a smaller stomach makes you order from menus over buffets, but feeling adventurous, I met my friend there. As we walked in, pleasant food smells wafted past me. As we were directed to a table, I passed all kinds of interesting food items, including one of my favourites, fried okra. As we found out to my disappointment, that day wasnt steak day. Bummer, but the items I sampled were very good. I was very pleasantly surprised, and the service was excellent. Though its a buffet, our server was working hard, bringing refills to people and clearing dishes set aside. She remembered full details of our drinks and was very friendly. I plan to meet my friend there again soon, and next time, I want steak!

This was our first time here. My husband got the buffet. I ordered the hamburger steak and baked potato loaded no chives. My husband was eating. Firstly, the wait staff is fantastic. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and patient. The food was something youd see in Kitchen Nightmares. They offer a wide variety of food, but the vast majority of it is canned or frozen. The $16 for the weekend buffet is absurd. Do not come here expecting great (or even good) food. The only highlights were the fried catfish, menudo, and baked potatoes. If I were somehow forced to come here again, Id probably only get the menudo. The atrocities include watered down mashed potatoes, canned brisket, questionable coleslaw, slimy mushrooms, and the dehydrated macaroni and cheese. They really need to chop the broccoli in the broccoli slaw. The cooked-to-order sirloin was such a sad waste of meat; the steak had no seasoning and wasnt cooked with any butter, herbs, etc. I really wanted to take it home for my dog, but buffets usually dont let you take to-go boxes. Lastly, Id beware of anything slathered in sauce (hot wings and ribs, especially).

Have been there several times it an all you can eat restaurant as you go in you pay at front lunch is less than dinner which starts after 4pm the difference basically is that dinner has steaks included its about $3 more per person. I came here at about 4:00. I recently signed up to be a member of the E-Club and misread their welcoming deal of buy one get one buffet free. However the clerk very kindly gave me half off my buffet. My first plate had fried fish, rice, chicken enchiladas, and cornbread muffins. The cornbread muffins were ice cold and hard and honestly I love their cornbread muffins but could not eat them like this. I asked if they could warm it up for me and they said This is a buffet we don t have microwaves. But then she grabbed me a fresher one so I guess it balances out. The one thing that is worth the original $16 buffet price is the BBQ and freshly made steaks in the corner. The chopped sausage and BBQ sauce is delicious. That man is truly working in that section of the kitchen. Also they have the school strawberries here if you are ever craving those. I really want cornbread muffins and I saw new ones being made so I will wait them out. The only people that keep this place in business is old people and Latino parents.

The service was spectacular Dora and Jessica were super nice and welcoming my sister in law coming from Dallas and us from San Antonio long drive but it was worth it :)
