If you are indecisive, make sure you bring a friend who is not. There are too many delicious options on the menu. Do I get the brisket mac and cheese or the smashburger or maybe I want mahi-mahi tacos or the chicken cobb salad? This evening I went for the chicken cobb salad and enjoyed it immensely. If the weather is nice I encourage you to enjoy the back patio under the large oak trees. Food, service, and atmosphere are all well done at Finleys.

Yall, this is a great place to go and watch your favorite team play. Hookem! There is delicious food and wonderful drinks. They have a pretty food size beer list and a delicious mexi-tini. The sweet tea was pretty darn good. Lets talk food. We ordered the loaded fries and added brisket. It was absolutely delicious ;however, paying 3 dollars extra for brisket their was hardly any. We sat out in their patio area and watched some football and then ordered dinner. Dinner consisted of a delicious burger, and I had their deviled eggs. My friend truly enjoyed the burger, and my deviled eggs were phenomenal!!! The staff is the friendliest Ive ever encountered. I would go back purely based off the service. Love this establishment!!!

Never left a review before. Beer was hot. Sent it back and they still tried to charge us. Also the one beer I did drink they tried to double bill me for. My wife got the smash burger and it was good. I got the Texas melt and it was not even halfway decent. I ve been cooking brisket almost all of my 30 years on this planet and this was trash. They still charged me $4.40 for the brisket and the fries was the best part. After fighting over being charged for a hot beer and a beer I did not drink I was over it and left. It was also super frustrating that the manager was annoyed when I pointed out the hot beer and food. If it was a dive bar that served food I wouldn t have complained. But a place charging almost $20 a plate should offer better food and service.

I was traveling through Roundrock and stopped to eat. I simply pulled up google and typed restaraunts near me I saw the images and description and this place was close to where I pulled off the highway. I was not disappointed. The place has a nice atmosphere with plenty of indoor ans outdoor seating. The server was friendly and informative and when it comes to the food they bring the flavor. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich with spicy ranch and honey mustard and it was great. I noticed they were pet friendly on the outdoor patio and made note of this so I coyod tell one of my friends who likes to travel and he and his wife bring their small dog on trips. It is a local Round Rock stop and not a franchise they take pride in their menu and product presentation. I really liked the food from. The sandwich to the fries everything was perfect and they even make their own signature sauces that I had on my sandwich. Great Place to stop if youre in Roundrock. Parking: Pet friendly on their outdoor patio.

They have a small inside for dining, luckily it wasn t too bad when we went so we were able to sit on the patio. They also have a backyard dining patio. The food was sub par. Everything sounded AMAZING but the flavor just didn t hit. The Texas Melt was really dry. We had to order bbq sauce to put on it. The queso is served in a small, shallow ramekin, so it thickened and cooled quickly. The drinks were okay. The spicy peach margarita was so hot and had so many jalapeño seeds in it that one of our guests couldn t drink it and had to ask for something else. The staff was below par. We arrived around 1:45 and was told we couldn t order anything until 2:10 because staff was changing over. That s not normal, but wasn t too much of a wait. The waitress was a little scatterbrained, asked for our drink order and left before we could give it. She also couldn t find drink menus, but several other people checked on us throughout our stay. She also came to ask if we were ready to put our order in and then immediately said oh sorry, I forgot we aren t putting orders in right now. We were initially charged for the drink we had to get replaced and for an appetizer we never received because the kitchen was out. The guy who closed the check (might be manager or owner?) was very nice and helpful in resolving the issue.

Our experience started out good. Then went down hill from there. We started with a great waiter and then he got pulled away, and then we were forgotten. The service just sucked. It wasn t even busy. We at the Texas Melt was so dry no moisture in the meat. We spent $42+ and would have expected a lot more than what we got. My cocktail and fried pickles were good.

This was not a good dining experience at all. The boneless wings were VERY small (not much bigger than Chick fil A) and the server did not allow me to get both a rub and a dipping sauce at the same time. You can only get that when you order 16 wings. I had no idea and thought he was just giving me a hard time about it (which he did). And for $14, it was really more like an appetizer than a meal. My wife likes Reuben sandwiches. He claimed, Im a Reuben guy and I think ours is the best. Well, far from it. There was hardly any meat on it and it was tasteless, according to my wife. We get better Reubens at Jasons Deli, without a doubt. Fresher meat, everything. Server disappears (been happening a lot lately, at other restaurants), no drink refills, etc. I dont know whats happened to the service industry, but its gotten horrible. I dont mind paying good money for good food, but this has gotten out of hand. I happened to need to use the restroom when I was there, which is OUTSIDE the building (for whatever reason) and the bathroom was FILTHY, like I had walked into a male dormitory. I almost didnt want to touch anything it was so nasty. One of the two sinks didnt even work; no water coming out of them, to be able to even wash my hands. How places like this make it, I just dont know....

Kitchen just throwing food out. Cheese curds were still cold in the middle. Remade better. Ruben came out very quick too, bread soggy, not toasted or heated at all. Had to remake that as well due to over sauced. Remake still missed the mark. $34 dollars for a sad sandwich and decent fries. Missed the mark and couldnt fix it. Ranch was also sour, thick and sour. Need to make a better version like pinthouse or 54th street.

Had a great time with friends who were visiting out of town! Our waitress (Maddie?) was super sweet, even allowed us to move outside after we were already seated and helped us move the little ones too! The menu has a great selection of classic american dishes. My wife and I spent part of our anniversary day at Finleys. What a cool vibe! We sat at the outside bar, met some cool new people including our awesome bartender, Maddie! I wanted to say how amazed I was by finleys and their staff today. They were slammed for Mothers day today. The wait time did get miss quoted to us but thats understandable. They cant make people leave. And its Mothers day one of the busiest days of the year for any restaurant. The staff were super polite and courteous. They did everything they could to make it a great day for everyone. They even gave out roses to all the moms(who does that?!) No other restaurant I have been to does that. They also gave us a moms mimosa! The food took 40 mins to come. But again understandable with how busy they were. And it was so so good! I had the Eggs Benni special it was perfect. My family had the chicken and waffles, mac &cheese, and an omelette. All were great and must haves. Our server Stef was so sweet and was very communicative on how long things would be. The lady manager was out and about making sure everything went great. Hardly ever see that as well any where else. Overall it was amazing, only thing that could have been better was the weather! Would have loved to sit in the courtyard with the big trees but the rain made that hard.

When Im in town, I always seek a bar where we can gather, engage in gaming, indulge in drinks, and have discussions ranging from schoolwork to work life, in addition to typical bar activities. After trying several bars in Round Rock over the course of ten months, we struggled to find our ideal go-to spot. I want to emphasize the timeline to provide a comprehensive understanding of our search. While some bars offered friendly service, their atmosphere didnt resonate with us, especially as gamers. We needed an environment that made us feel like we belonged, catering specifically to gamers. Unfortunately, not all bars grasp the nuances of what gamers desire. Some establishments were amicable but lacked outside smoking areas, which was a dealbreaker for us. Smoking is an essential part of our gaming experience. Fortunately, we eventually discovered a bar that ticked all the right boxes. It boasts the perfect atmosphere, catering extensively to gamers. Moreover, the adjacent open space with a small bar counter provided an added convenience. We can comfortably sit in the back, smoke, converse, and immerse ourselves in gaming. The staffs friendliness towards gamers is evident in their willingness to accommodate our needs, allowing us to plug in our laptops using their outlets. Overall, Finleys has successfully met our expectations as the go-to bar in Round Rock, offering a fantastic ambiance, gamer-friendly environment, and thoughtful amenities. Mixed experience. Waiters very friendly and smiling but lacked energy, gave short answers, didnt engage and advise properly on menu. Food delicious but came too slowly -- child lost appetite by then, and discouraged me from ordering more after my burger despite being hungry. Not enough choices on menu. Instead of sides like broccoli and spinach why not have a hearty mixed vegetables side that combines them? Portions were generous but too narrowly focused -- instead of a mountain of fries, would have preferred a variety of sides to the burger ( e.g. mashers + veg + pickles + butter). Whole experience felt spartan - they barely brought napkins until we asked. No paper in restroom. Ultimately left frustrated and hungry. Wont return.

Went today with our 5 kids and man oh man did we LOVE IT! I got the smash burger and it was MOUTH WATERING my husband got the sweet heat burger and if it was socially acceptable to lick the plate he would have! My kids all ate their food wonderfully! The best grilled cheese EVER was a topic of conversation while on the drive back home! We sat out on the patio to enjoy the spring weather everyone was nice and attentive 10/10 definitely will be back!

Food was decent. I had boneless wings and one cocktail. The waiter was not in a good mood and was very arrogant. I was with a big group of friends (around 20). I understand it was a big group, however the client should not be the one you are upset at. There was only one person for our group and that was not fair to us neither to the poor waiter. I also felt the charges on my bill were high. I payed $40.65 for a 6 piece chicken wings and 1 cocktail, I checked the bill and it was the large party fee, plus processing fee, plus taxes. I will probably not return to this place.

Completely unacceptable to be not acknowledged or greeted for >25 minutes. There s a sign that says seat yourself and a server would come by. None did. We went and got our own menus, asked one of the runners if we had a waiter and he pointed at a woman taking orders from other tables. No offer of waters or to see if he could assist. Finley s has some positive things going for it, mostly location and real estate. The inside of the restaurant, particularly the bar area, looks pretty nice! They ve done some cool things with the ceiling and some of the ambient lighting. The outside is a big courtyard with a tree in the middle of it, adorning string lights, with several televisions around for sporting events. Unfortunately, the outdoor bar itself is VERY small and guests tend to be hovering around/cutting in between stools while you re trying to enjoy your space and conversation with the person you re sitting at the bar with, so it s generally difficult to enjoy yourself if you sit at the outdoor bar. They need to implement a system for dividing guests who are ordering drinks from the bar and guests who are sitting at the bar. Their food is average, but good enough. The menu is all over the map, anywhere from brussell sprouts with asian sweet n sour sauce to deep fried pretzel sticks with sausage. Prices are reasonable. Their drinks are slightly elevated. I can tell someone who knows mixology created their cocktail list and we enjoy at least one of their cocktails as a go-to. Let s put an asterisk on that for now... Unfortunately, there are some glaring issues with this restaurant which make it tough to frequent. The two major issues seem to be consistency of product, and service. Both are non-existent. My wife and I have been here four times now and sadly, the only two consistencies we ve witnessed are that the service is almost entirely non-existent, and the drinks and food are wildly different depending on the night of the week/person making them. Honestly, my wife and I would love to come here once a week. We live close-by and we love to do date night/happy hour regularly. But we don t know if we re going to get the good, the bad, or the ugly when we go. We like the bartender Nick, though. We came back to the restaurant earlier this week and noticed it was entirely empty inside, but busy on the back patio. We went inside because I ve worked in the bar/restaurant industry for a long time and I assumed we would get better service at an empty bar. I was wrong. In 3+ hours, not a single bartender, server, or manager asked us how we were doing, how our drinks or food were, if we would like to order anything additional .nothing. Service is non-existent here. There is absolutely no hospitality whatsoever. If you want something, you re going to have to flag someone down and ask for it. There was even one point where I was light-heartedly yelling over to the group of bartenders, MANAGER, and server who were standing around behind the bar and I STILL couldn t get their attention. It particularly bothered me when I noticed we had empty waters and empty cocktails (after one round during happy hour) and our server Olivya was standing behind the bar in the corner on her phone, completely oblivious to us. This was maybe 10-15 minutes after the daytime bartender introduced her to us. We had food menus and drink menus in front of us and said we were going to order more soon. She didn t make any eye contact with us, didn t help us at all. I eventually had to speak up and say EXCUSE ME and finally one of the male bartenders came over to help. At this point, there was another couple at the bar who had been receiving attention. I ordered us another round and went to use the restroom. This time, I timed them! After over 5 minutes had passed, I returned and we still had empty drinks and waters on the bartop and I noticed the male bartender was chatting with the other couple at the bar still. Their bathroom is outside and across the courtyard, for perspective on how slow the service is. Every drink we ordered tasted different from the last. Also came in different glasses and sometimes I d get about 3oz of liquid and sometimes about 5oz. We ordered the same drink all night from their cocktail list, La Ultima Palabra. We left without eating dinner because nobody once checked on us proactively. Finley s is desperate for better management and structure.

3 stars just for food issue. Grease wasnt hot enough, pickles and fries came out soggy. The sweet potatoe fries were appropriately cooked. Burgers are only well done, a little too dry for such an excellent meat grind. Western specialty burger was excellent flavor. BYO burger has a pittance of lettuce, barely there. Grilled cheese should have been buttery, and full of 6 cheese goodness, came off just greasy. The staff was amazingly friendly, accommodating, and gracious. Made a one off cocktail that was great.
