Was lost what to do when the time came after finding my dad a safe place for him to live. Reached out to Medicaid Filing Connection after a referral and it went smoothly from there. Yes had to do quit a bit of footwork myself but in the end it turned out like me and my dad were promised.

To start with really do not remember the very first person that reached out to me. She lent an ear a listened to all my concerns. She responded in such a soothing manner that made be real at ease. She then stated someone would be calling me that would be in charge of my case. God a behold Bianca called me and stayed with me every step of the way. Kept me on my toes on getting documents I needed. She kept me informed every step of the way. She has a great personality that helps when someone is so worried of the approval. God is great and I trusted he would see this through but not without sending Bianca to do all the efficient work that needed to be done for the approval. Thank you so much. I am extremely grateful that I signed up with Medicaid Filing Connection. They walked me through the complicated process. In the early weeks, when I was stressed and confused about what I needed to do, they answered every email, communicated through texts, and spent time with me on the phone answering every question. Then, they explained information I did not know I needed to understand! It is strange hiring people you dont meet in person, but I am glad did. Looking back, being able to to everything electronically was a gift.

My experience with Bianca was highly pleasurable. In fact, because of the strict deadline we were on with Medicaid and the complicated case that had developed, I couldn t have handled my Father s Medicaid renewal without her. She was indeed a blessing. I had a similar experience as the previous reviewer. Long story short, ended up paying $7,000 from my fathers meager resources hoping to help him get Medicaid benefits. Unfortunately, he passed away before Medicaid Filling Connection had submitted the application to Medicaid. I was told that they do not offer any refunds in this case. However, having gone through the onerous process of applying for Medicaid before, I know that a lot of the legwork is after the application is submitted. Therefore, in my opinion the right thing to do would be to at least offer a partial refund.

My father became very sick and bed bound over the last 3 months and needed to have long term care. The nursing home put me in touch with these people and they were helpful (at the beginning) they gave me a plan for getting him assistance with Medicaid, drawing up a power of attorney, a lady bird deed to save his house from MERP and what to do with his savings (Spending down) which included their fee of $6000.00. After being in the nursing home for about 2 weeks he went to the hospital and unfortunately passed away. During that two weeks at the nursing home and the week he was in the hospital communication from this group was far and few between, I would email my case manager and usually wouldn t hear anything till the next day(maybe). I did get a power of attorney and lady bird deed from them but nothing else. He was never set up on Medicaid and none of the fee paid was returned. I was told since the work is mostly done at the beginning of the process the fee could not be returned. So I basically paid $6000.00 for a Power of attorney and a lady bird deed (which I found out later could have been done for free online). I m very unhappy with this organization and feel that they took advantage of someone in a vulnerable position and that $6000.00 worth of services was not rendered. Do your research before doing business with these people, because to them it is just business.

Amy and MFC helped me through a very difficult time with getting my mother approved for Medicaid. She is extremely professional, very kind, and caring, and truly was there to help at every step of the way. The Medicaid system has so many loopholes that I would have never been able to navigate it by myself. With Amy and her team s help, there was light at the end of the tunnel and I always felt that I wasn t alone in the process. I highly recommend MFC to anyone who finds themselves on the path to helping their family get Medicaid benefits. Just realizing that you have a team of professionals who are the experts on your side is a huge relief.

I dealt with Amy and she was extremely professional, kind, caring and genuinely wanted to help me and my family. She was very successful in getting us approved. While her job is difficult, she never wavered in making sure I was always updated. In early 2022 it became apparent that my mother, who has Alzheimers, was going to need help from a long term memory facility. I had been trying to get her on medicaid and was denied twice. That is when I contacted the Medicaid Filing Connection. It was one of the best decisions I have made. I spoke with an advisor, (Carol), who walked me through the process and she began right away looking for a place for mom. I was a little bit surprised at the cost but looking back it was money well spent. Jess contacted me and sent the forms to sign to get started on the Medicaid application for mom. Carol found two locations to look at and in March 2022 mom was moved to a wonderful memory facility. My part of the process was to gather the Information they needed and get it to them in a timely fashion. Jess led me through the process every step of the way and sent in the application in my mothers behalf. There were extra questions from Medicaid that needed to be answered. I was asked to help with those answers and did. As of now, my mother is approved for Medicaid and my anxiety level is much reduced.
