My coworker and I met at Taco Joint to eat on our lunch break. When we got to the counter the person that took our order was patient as we asked questions about the menu because it was our first time there. He brought our food to the table and when my friend asked him about getting the jalapeño ranch he pointed in the direction as to where to get it and in the same breathe offered to go get it for us. He was back with the ranch quickly! Later on I saw this same kid busting and wiping tables! The owner/manager asked us if we needed anything and I just could not help but tell him how impressed I was with his employee. He told us that his name was Charlie. I would just like to say to Charlie, your parents have done an amazing job raising you. He was polite and respectful, helpful and has an amazing work ethic! He is going to go far! I am a teacher and can tell you he made a great impression on me, and I love to see kids who will speak to you, have eye contact and I could tell he is a kind hearted person! Thanks Charlie for all that you did to make our visit nice. I will definitely be back with my family! The food was also amazing! Deanna H. I had an unfortunate experience that turned into a great story of exceptional management. I ordered two burritos and they were made with about a third of the ingredients they should have been. I called Uber and they gave me the run around. When I called the shop, they instantly offered me a refund and treated me with respect. I was made whole and then some. Today I spoke with the manager (not sure if she owns the shop) and had a great conversation. Check out taco joint and you will not be sorry.

Back again after long absence. We have eaten at Plano location since our last visit here. Still at 4 stars for several things. Same napkins as first visit totally inadequate for mess one gets from grilled shrimp taco. Which is my second complaint too messy compared to street taco with beef. Also they have only one type of sweetner for iced tea (pink package). See photo. I prefer one of the other sweetners blue yellow or green.

Went in for a to go order a couple weeks back and the boy working (don t remember his name unfortunately) had an amazing recommendation. Portions are amazing and they re sauces are so good. Just went in to order it again and the lady at the front that took our order (Ann) was so sweet and so friendly. Absolutely amazing service. I ordered a cheese quesadilla for almost $9. It was literally two tortillas with cheese put in a microwave. No cooking just melted cheese stuck together in foil. Management must have changed. Ive been going here since it opened. Highly disappointed . I dont normally leave bad feedback but this definitely deserves it.

They people checking 4 stars and above have no taste buds or were raised on white rice and unseasoned chicken. I had two tacos today, one being from Dairy Queen. Tell me why the DQ taco was better?! Also the rice and beans tasted like they walked across the street and heated up a box of the HEB brand. I rarely leave reviews, this is how sad I am about my tacos.

We have enjoyed Taco Joint twice for breakfast tacos now and it is SOOO GOOD!!!! We even got 8am queso for breakfast and it was awesome. We have tried different tacos both times and none of them have disappointed us. The staff is so friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I am excited about this joint in our town. Edited 4/22: We are HOOKED. We love Taco Joint so much. We now go every other week. We always get the chicken street tacos & regular queso. Our signature meal and it is delicious. Ive never had a bad experience here until today. I work at a local business and was given a few coupons for breakfast tacos by my manager a few months back. Every time I come in, I always use only one coupon, buy another taco, along with a drink and I tip. However, today when I came in, the guy behind the counter (shorter, bald man) was having trouble applying the coupon to just one taco. When I offered him another coupon, he became very upset. He then started to lecture me how me having multiple coupons wasnt fair and causing their business to lose money. Next he told me when I get offered multiple coupons to pass them out to family and friends. I even offered to pay full price and he was still adamant about lecturing me. I am not an employee of them or their marketing team, so that is simply not my job. Also, if my manager decides to give me multiple coupons, I can not help that. I dont think I deserved that lecture, and I did not feel welcomed in the establishment. Even if those coupons were used by other people, they would still be free.

Wow, I love this place. BUT, went today 4/14/24, had to repeat my order 3 times. Big order, Chalupa, no meat, the Lester and a bean and cheese taco to go. The Lester was a mess, had to eat it with a fork!! The Chalupa, no lettuce, or any toppings, just bean and cheese.

I did a catering event for the property I work at . They were proffesional everything was fresh the food was yummy and when I went inside it was adorable. I worked w Jose and George and they were awesome. Poor Jose had to help me to the car w 150 tacos. I had the bean and cheese and loved it. We also got the churros and they are to die for . Everything arrived cold... and its NOT because of the delivery. You could tell the food was old and had been sitting in the Styrofoam box for a very long time. Simple order of crispy tacos with meat and tomatoes. Grease soaked though the Taco shells, tomatoes were scattered all over the box like they were just tossed in. Burrito was extremely soggy and just cold. Wrapped poorly in Reynolds wrap. EVERYTHING was handled like the restaurant didnt care.

This isn t specific to this location. It s the franchise as a whole. I ve been to frisco and Dallas locations once each and had an identical experience. I mean identical. The food just isn t very good. Everything is bland. The food, the hot sauces, corn tortillas, meat it s just very bland. Nothing has flavor. The enchiladas were hard and chewy on bottom. The corn tortillas seem raw? Again, this is a taco joint thing, not location. Also, both locations were dead. A couple other people and empty seats. I feel like people know what I m saying and don t go. The food just isn t very good. You re not happy eating it. You leave dissatisfied. The queso ain t bad though, so there s that. Family really enjoyed our taco dinner. Relative to other taco shops, I feel the price for quality of the taco to be a great value. Eager to try other menu items, I had the spicy pork and fried chicken tacos, both were great. Atmosphere was funky in a good way, strings of lights and a cool little mural painted with a variety of pop culture icons. Walls were covered in album covers and seating was comfortable. Taco joint Main street/legacy Frisco: The food here is actually pretty good. However weekend service is a cluster of disorganization and slow customer service. Your food will definitely be 10 -15 late if you order online takeout. Especially on Sundays around lunch. I waited 40 minutes for 2 burritos and 2 tacos. Manger really doesnt seem to care he had multiple customers waiting and appears to be very passive. Yes they were busy, I get it. But they appeared to be short staffed and the place was filthy. Sauce all over the bar area and floor sticky. Dine in customers had to go up with their empty basket for chip refills. When my food was done one of the workers that knew I was waiting and knew my last name had the nerve to look me in the eye and call my order out like I havent been waiting already. Crazy! I just hate I put a tip on my order...recommendation..go early or call ahead if you order online.

We were in Frisco for the FCS Football National Championship. We per-ordered our breakfast tacos for the morning of the game. When we arrived they were hot and ready. Staff and manager were amazing. I frequented the locations in Dallas over the last decade. I was elated when I saw Taco Joint was opening here in Frisco. Frisco location has surpassed my fond memories of how amazing this place is. Brisket tacos are GREAT, uniquely enough are prepared in an oven I was told years ago. Brisket breakfast tacos are even better. The service is ALWAYS so warming, polite & welcoming. My son suggested the fajita beef taco & I was optimistic .it s the BEST fajita meat I ve ever had hands down. There was a mishap on a to go order & they went over the top to care of me on my next visit. So the 1 star review guy I d ignore as clearly he s just cheap & regardless of my tip amount they ve been nothing but outstanding as a staff (regardless of age). You don t even tip until the end your order so that review is implying everyone is rude until the end of your order & nice upon tip?!? Never my experience in over a dozen visits now & Anthony probably had cheap tippers guilt Look @ ANTHONY profile, he s a 1star review miserable troll of many establishments!?! Seriously this is a locally owned business & that his 1 star review is just not worthy & should be ashamed. I won t mention the Austin trendy taco place here by name. They were playing the Cowboy game, when I walked in. The old albums on the wall were very cool. The staff at the counter were friendly and engaging. It has a cool vibe. That being said, the tortillas were tough and chewy. They were the smaller tortillas, too. The charizo wasnt like any chorizo Ive had before. Not a fan. The beef fajita wasnt very flavorful. The green hotsauce wasnt hot at all. And $12 for three tacos wasnt cheap. Im from San Antonio and ruined for life. In the short amount of time that this establishment has been open, I ve been continually been impressed how it s gotten better and better! My husband and I got food from here on opening day, and at first we thought it was going to be another local spot to circulate to when we wanted Tex-Amex. With each visit (been here roughly 4 times now) we have noticed the awesome service, cleanliness, and really great quality of food. It s a great addition the the Frisco Food scene. The queso is one of the better apps that I ve tried in many Tex-Max spots, the breakfast tacos were some of the best I ve had in the area. Service - especially ownership, also deserves a Grace A Status. It s a festive, friendly restaurant with a vast menu. Definitely worth the try if it s on your list!

Waited nearly an hour for 4 tacos, which we never received. Had to ask for a refund rather than continue to wait. Asked the employees several times how much longer it would be and they were never honest. Its a decent taco shop, I felt a little bit bad for their kitchen, when I was there it took a little over 45 min for 3 sirloin tacos. I felt it was just due to how big the menu was, it even took me a solid 2-3 looks to figure out what I wanted. A simplified menu would likely drop down the wait by a lot. Overall its not great, and not bad, solid step up from a Rosas and good quality for the price.

Make sure you tip because if you don t they ll be rude and short with you. Taco spots are supposed to have good vibes. Kids running this place only act nice when they see potential tips. No recommendations or run down about this place even know I told them it was my first time. Also they served me 3 tacos and one had a slice of avocado that was half black. Who serves that stuff. They wouldn t eat it so why serve it. If I could I would have asked for a refund. I would say less meat and focus more on quality than a blob of meat with no flavor. Really bummed it didn t live up to the hype. Also it was funny all the tables that were eating in were getting chips and salsa. Yet me with my 3 tacos didn t have one person ask how my meal was or where I could find the salsas or offer any chips. Husband and I went to the Taco Joint in Frisco Saturday morning, and it is my new favorite breakfast taco joint! You can get breakfast tacos in a crunchy shell! I havent been able to find that anywhere else! This counter serve location has a patio with a pleasant view of a water feature surrounded by apartments and what looks like zero lot townhouses. My first experience was at the new Frisco location. As I scanned the menu, I was too excited to discover their flat chalupas! It translated to this Chicago girl as Tostada suizas wow, they were amazing! I also tried the tortilla soup and fajita beef quesadillas - all very good. They have a Friday special with a fried shrimp taco that I MUST return and try!! Yum Ill definitely be back!!

Loved the willie Nelson, and Paul Simon music while we were there! Plenty of seating options, easy parking, and delicious, allergy friendly foods! Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is editable to create a pick-your-own taco or burrito style foods. Potato & beans, and peppers & onions and if you want eggs they re also available. Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to eggs and peppers and they accommodated my diet restrictions with ease! Parking: In front of establishment is plenty of standard parking. Kid-friendliness: Pricing and food on the menu was easy for kids to enjoy as well. Atmosphere is casual and kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Ada accessibility with plenty of space between tables and up close parking options.

Tacos are awful. I had the chicken fajita taco tonight, which was inedible chicken was very dry and tasted old. Queso is good but chips are tough. Salsa is like Pace with ketchup added. Wont be back.

Tried this out for the first time tonight and the service, and the food were really great! Super happy to have a new Taco Joint in the area with lots of options! Ash was super sweet and friendly and service was quick. The jalapeño ranch and the salsa options were great as well. Kid-friendliness: Fun atmosphere for the kids. Not super fancy, but not just a hole in the wall either. Colored Twinkle lights on the ceiling, booths and table options, different food options for them and churros for dessert.

We are so excited to have the same amazing TACO JOINT FINALLY come to Frisco!! The food is delicious, service is quick and the TJ team is SO friendly and helpful! Maybe I should go easier on them, because I think they just recently opened? But this was the worst taco restaurant experience so far. Happy hour marg prices - and the past reviewers saying that the Taco Joint was as good but cheaper than Torchy s brought us here. Not even close to Torchy s. They messed up our order multiple times (not complicated at all - just take off the lettuce and sauce on the side) and they also left off a taco we paid for. They ran out of the sauce that they add to the spicy grilled tacos. Said they were making more in the back. After 15 minutes, they d forgot all about the sauce - and my taco was too cold to eat. Queso & chips were good, but the tacos were not good at all. Missing the creative ingredients of a Torchy s. Margs were fine, but nothing I d go back for. I do like the location near my house, but I ll drive a little further for Torchy s or Velvet Taco. (I was taking notes during our dining, intending to write a review for our 51,000 Frisco Talk Facebook followers, but sadly we can not recommend Taco Joint at this time. We wish them well in ironing out the wrinkles. I know it s difficult to find experienced restaurant staff.)

After eating at several of the Dallas locations for years, we were very excited to see Taco Joint make it to Frisco! We have been in several times for lunch and a couple.times for dinner. I was happy to see the same great food (and menu) that we have experienced in Dallas was here! They have only been open for a few weeks but seem to be operating like the TJ we have known for years. Friendly staff and quick service every time for us, so far. I see some other reviews on here. If you didnt enjoy your first trip, give them another shot. I promise you its worth it! Pro Tip - get the Picoso queso and mix it with the Jalapeno Ranch. Put it on anything. Its awesome! Love this place. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and great patio out back and plenty of space for kids to play!

So happy this is open near me! The food was delicious- very authentic Tex-mex and it was ready super fast. Perfect for before a high school football game. The decor and ambience were fantastic. Four stars. Cool lights and album covers all over. I ordered two tacos, chips/queso and a margarita, my total was 32.95. The register had the tip selection when you order so I gave them 15%. Wishing I had opted for none now. The food took 36 minutes to be delivered to my table and I suspect that only happened because I stopped one of the staff and asked about it. The queso was very watery. It didn t stick to the chips very well. And the two soft tacos were pretty marginal. Not very flavorful. I wondered if they used spices or rubs on the meat. Half of each taco was left in the trash when I left. The staff (mostly young ladies) seemed disinclined to deal with the overflowing trash or cleaning tables. I have zero plans to return. Kid-friendliness: There were a number of tables with children that seemed happy. They give children crayons and sheets to color in and it wasn t overly loud, so I imagine this would be a convenient place to bring kids.

A really good new taco option. Sort of similar to Torchys or Crush Taco, but Taco Joint has a bit more to choose from especially on the breakfast side. Importantly, it s also a bit less expensive for comparable quality. Got a bunch of tacos and queso for four at about $30. Very solid value and the food tastes great.

Thrilled The Taco Joint has finally come to Frisco! My absolute favorite. 10/10 recommend The Disaster Queso, and all-things-breakfast (breakfast tacos with egg, bacon, potato and cheese are the best - and don t forget the jalapeño ranch on top)! Great ownership and customer service. Kid-friendliness: Crayons and paper for the kids! And great food options for picky kids (including nuggets and fries)
