This location was not being well run when I ate lunch there on Sunday, August 25 at about 2 pm. The manager on duty was unnecessarily loud. I told the cashier my order was for here (dine in) twice, yet he still put take out on the receipt. I reminded him again and he told the people putting orders together the order was for here and used my name to let them know which order. Yet they put it in a huge bag for two items and just walked away. Couldnt get anyones attention to get a tray. Just an incredible waste of supplies for two items. The picture shows how much waste there was for a tostada and burrito. Plus the dining room was dirty, it looked like a couple tables were wiped down with a filthy towel. Only saving grace was that the food was pretty good. I should have gone to the nearby Whataburger instead.

This was my first visit to Taco Casa. I ordered in the drive thru, and my service was fast and friendly. My order was also correct, which is becoming a bonus with fast food establishments. The ingredients definitely felt fresher than some other taco chains. The tomatoes seemed a little old and mushy, but Im sure theyll be better next time. Overall I was pleased with my experience. The Super Taco is good sized, and had a great shell on it. I did add the included Hot Sauce packets, which I felt added a lot to the taco. The Chilada was quite flavorful. I enjoyed the red sauce quite a bit, and the cheese didnt seem overly processed. I could do without the black olives on it, but thats just personal preference. My wife ordered the Super Nachos. They were packaged with all ingredients separate, so that we could combine them on our own. This was a surprise, but not an unwelcome one. The chips were much thicker than Im used to, and reminded me of gas station chips & cheese. Now, Im not necessarily saying that is a bad thing, but its good to know what to expect going in. My favorite item was the Casa Delites. Fried tortilla covered in cinnamon/sugar. Delicious. I did add a drizzle of honey to mine to give a sopapilla flair, which I felt added greatly to the experience. I would go again.

First time we have eaten at Taco Casa. I was impressed with the quality and taste of the food, considering the low price. We had a BOGO coupon and got two super burritos for $5.49. WOW ! We will return ! Been going to Taco Casa since my first post. The Super Burritos are great with four packets of the hot sauce. Delicious!

One evening, a little bit before closing time, I came to the Rockwall, TX Taco Casa for a late, dine-in dinner. It wasnt crowded so service was prompt and seating plentiful. I ordered 2 Super Tacos and 2 Super Burritos, with water for my meal. I provided my name, as requested by the order taker, and when the order was ready, all food and drink was picked up at the counter after they called the name out. I didnt see a soft drink fountain, but maybe I just missed it. The corn taco shells were crunchy and fresh, the ingredients of ground beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes were also fresh and in general the food was fairly good. The Super Burritos were warm throughout with good fresh flour tortillas that held together, as the Burritos were consumed. I also added packaged taco sauce to each item before eating. All in all, my meal was tasty and satisfying. Ill probably return. Update: MY Significant Other and I again came to Taco Casa for a take home dinner. The tacos and burritos were very good! Freshly prepared warm and ready to consume. Ill be back!

Their prices have gotten ridiculous! Over $30 for two people for a few tacos a burrito and drinks. Half the time they don t even have the dining room open. It s always hot inside because apparently the owner is too cheap to have the air at a comfortable temperature ( per an employee s statement) Go to Rosa s or Torshy s if you re going to spend this much on fast Mexican food.

Taco Casa serves up delicious tacos, but the service can be hit or miss. When its on point, the experience is fantastic, but there are times when the service falls short. Always fresh. Had super tostada and tea. I always get half-and-half tea so its not too sweet. Update, Yesterday I went by and got 2 super burritos and I got taken. Ordered through the drive-through. Asked for no cheese and no lettuce on 2 soft tacos, my son is allergic to dairy. Received 2 tacos with the cheese and lettuce put on and wiped off traces of cheese (and lettuce) on both tacos. Would be pursuing a lawsuit had I not checked my food (after getting home) if my son had consumed and had a terrible reaction. Yall need to fix your attention to detail and start over if you mess up on an order that asks to omit ingredients. You could kill someone. Dietary restrictions: DONT RISK YOUR LIFE!! I can t say how many times I have visited this location Where my order was correct because Usually It s served just as ordered.. no problems & only Twice recently I ordered 12 crunchy tacos and twice I was shorted one.. Their phone line does not work to call in & complain or State what had happened no voicemail box either to leave a message But fortunately both times When I stated what happened and showed my receipt, it was handled professionally and cordially I was restored the missing item.. They are friendly, helpful, courteous, & nobody hassles or haggles or argues whenever a mistake is made..if you go in respectfully they reciprocate respect.. my lack of 5-star is on whoever was or is in charge that s highest level management (in my book) maintaining an operable phone line with voicemail service so if it s too busy to answer, which I m fully aware can happen, there is voicemail someone could check and show they care about customer service.. there are 6 of us so when 12 tacos are ordered everyone gets 2.. so when you only get 11 Instead of twelve it s a pain at the table as a mom I ll give up mine so they all can have 2.. I m grateful for them because I do enjoy several items off the menu but truly appreciate those working when I do visit.. this is not a complaint necessarily on the staff mistakes happen and can happen to anyone on any given day..when a mistake is made they aren t bitter about solving it.. I appreciate and value that! They have a good team from what I ve seen. 5-Stars to the employees 3-Stars for that phone line issue..

Last night August 13 2023 at 8:53pm and the open sign was lite up in the front window. I went to the drive thru reader board and nobody would answer the intercom and there was a car in the drive up window. I waited for a few minutes and at 8:55pm nobody inside spoke so I drove up to the window to order my food for my family. Upon pulling up to the window I was told there was no food left and the staff was going home by the manager Angie. In all my life I have never seen anyone close a restaurant early and tell the customer to leave. This place has been one of my favorite place to eat fast food Mexican food until this experience.

The A/C has been out at this place for a WEEK! It is SO extremely hot in there you can hardly bare to stay in there for more than 2 minutes. I can t imagine how the amazing workers feel. They are working so hard and sweating TO DEATH in there because the A/C is not getting fixed. THESE ARE NOT HEALTHY WORKING CONDITIONS. Especially in the food industry. This is NOT ok. Your workers are what keep that place afloat and treating them this way working in 100 degree heat with zero fans, zero AC, zero solution to the problem is absolutely unacceptable. Do better Taco Casa. Your workers deserve better. The way they are having to work their butts off in the heat is extremely unfair and cold hearted.

I just left this location after eating a late lunch. Breana was the one who took my order and I have to say her customer service is top notch. She looked happy to be there and was a ray of sunshine. They get your order right. Theres not a lot of meat in the tacos we got. The drive thru was really slow.
