I contacted this law office to request a consult regarding emergency adult conservatorship. The circumstances involved an international medical emergency of a loved one and their capacity to help themselves. They knew little more than that upon my initial contact. This office refused to schedule a consult and told me they were no longer accepting new clients. If they did not want to help me with my particular case, it would have been better to just say so. Their website certainly seems to suggest they are soliciting clients. They compounded an already difficult situation by deferring to a lame excuse not to even have a discussion with me. It would be hard to trust them with anything else given my experience.

My wife recently died and I needed to probate her will. Since I had no previous dealings with a local attorney, I looked through various local papers and called attorneys that had ads in these papers. I called the office of Paul Romano and briefly told him the purpose of my call, I needed to have my wifes will probated. He quoted me a figure over the phone which I agreed to . I visited his office and we went over my wifes will. He saw no problems with the will and assured me the probate would go through without any problems. Sure enough, my wifes will went through the court system without any difficulties. After the will was probated, Pauls office continued to file the necessary papers to finalize the will. At no time did I experience any difficulty with the probate process. Pauls office continually kept me up-to-date on the probate process. Paul and his assistant were always available and handled all of my minor concerns efficiently and courteously. I will definitely use them in the future for any of my legal matters.

I worked and continue to do so with Kenny Sumner. My relationship with him started with the company I worked for and extended on a personal basis as I am currently venturing out with a new business. He was very essential to our company in negotiating million dollar contracts for the Oil and Gas Industry. I was impressed with his understanding of clients needs and how hard he worked for them. Not only is he a man of integrity, but is prompt, considerate, and very affordable. In my opinion, Mr. Romano is not a trustworthy attorney. I feel, Mr. Romano and his firm will tag team their own clients to be able to acquire as much of the clients funds as they can before they drop you. In my perspective, Mr. Romano should not be be a licensed attorney. I feel, Mr. Romano has not upheld the oath that he took when becoming an attorney. There are high standards to which an attorney is supposed to hold. Mr. Romano not only being a licensed attorney, he is also an officer of the Supreme Court of Texas as well as a defender of the state and federal constitutions. In working with Mr. Romano as my attorney, I can truly say that I feel somewhere along the way, he has shamefully forgotten his commitment to the oath to which he vowed to adhere. I strongly do not recommend attorney, Mr. Paul A. Romano.
