I called Ashmore law firm blindly when I started my divorce. Joy was so helpful and patient, she walked me through the process . Since we had not property or children together, she send me the documents I needed to complete the process without direct legal representation .. she continued to call and just on me and process , now I hv my final hearing scheduled, she took the time to explain to me what that would be like.. she did this without charging a fee; I would recommend this office for anyone who is needing legal assistance that comes with top notch customer service

Never had to use the service of an attorney before but felt safer using one. A friend referred me and KC talked to me on phone for along time and made me feel safe and had hope. At trial- he was even better- calm/ and compassionate to me. He won for me and now I know I can always trust him if I need him . KC is the most amazing attorney I have ever dealt with. For example he got done in a matter of weeks what my first attorney hired in my divorce case could not after 7 months and after a few trials becauseMy EX kept fighting me every step of the way , guess what...we won in every legal way! My case was difficult, I had a lot of things going on and when it got emotionally difficult for me KC and his team noticed. KC actually has a heart and it shows in the way he cares and fights for his clients. Maddison is amazing she is incredibly responsive and informative and also has that same heart. You truly feel cared and respected for. My case was a mix of both divorce and criminal on account of my EX husband, but if I ever need an attorney again no matter what the need is for I will without hesitation reach back to KC and his amazing team!

I seriously have no clue how people can give these guys lower than a 5 star. I thought I knew business and the law. I was course corrected on a few matters. My business was given excellent advice and even shown in the law books where to look. They ve been more than helpful to discuss future plans. Expansions. And even how to further protect my companies entity beyond just trademark, rather how I engage and talk about my business and its future plans with anyone. Great documentation too when needed. This attorney has zero communication ability and their only form of contact is in the form of invoices. I tried calling and texting several times in order to get information on my case. Weeks of phone calls and texts with no return call from the attorney. I finally received a text stating to pay more for a retainer without a single call or explanation as to the what and why behind moving forward with the case. The other party was in clear breach of contract and the attorney did not take the time to read the agreements nor contact me, the client, in order to resolve the issue. Mr. Ashmore does not have the common courtesy to pick up the phone and contact his client. Nor read clearly written documents or formulate a legal position which would benefit him and his client. Missed appointments, no call backs, feet dragging, and overall terrible legal advice is what you can expect with these folks. I would highly recommend doing your research before hiring this attorney/law firm for anything other than possibly a parking ticket. I would have been better off using ChatGPT than wasting time and money with this group. In response to their lies: Invest in what? Their response is a complete lie. You cannot invest in something without knowing what it is. It would be a better investment to light money on fire than to throw it away with this group of crooks. Not a single individual at this firm knows anything about the case and spouts off non-sense that I need to pay them more money. I ask what for and I get to pursue possible litigation. What does that entail? pay us and we will tell you. Terrible group of professionals. Nothing I have stated is false. Not a single thing. This is not about money, I would happily pay money to resolve my issue. Honestly, if i could give zero stars i would. These 5 star reviews have to be from close people to them trying to boost their business. I don t recommend to go to this law firm. I paid around $11k for everything to still remain the same. I felt like i was never heard when it came to my concerns or wants. They just wanted more and more money saying they were doing things but never showed for it. When it came to going to court we had to push it off or she sent someone else to do her job. She hardly knew anything about my case every time I talked to her and had to re-explain the situation of what was going on. I printed 200 pages of texts to prove abuse and they didn t even use it or read through it. We paid so much and ended up dropping out because absolutely nothing was done. I started this around April last year (2022) for a family court case and in February (2023). I told Jennifer to release my case because I no longer wanted her services. I waited so long to release her as my lawyer because I had hope she was doing things. This was the worst experience i ve ever had and was such a waste of time and money. I m still dealing with the same abuse and harassment from my child s father. I could ve used this $11k for so many other useful things. Now i m having to spend more money to hire another lawyer to hopefully get stuff done this time. This type of treatment is so unacceptable.

I do not recommend them at all. The communication is very poor. I ve had documents sent 6 weeks late, pushed deadlines, and have not once received any update voluntarily. I have had to contact the firm in multiple ways over multiple weeks simply to get any kind of update on the status of my case. (But they do make sure to bill in a very timely manner). Every single time I have told something would be done it has not been done and been pushed back multiple times. You will not be treated as an individual here, you will be another case to put on the back burner.

I needed a layer for a quick lifting of geographic restriction, I spoke to Brad and he was great. They took our deposit and I definitely thought its something you dont get back. They used what they needed, completed the order and sent me back the money they didnt use. To whom it may concern, Divorce is probably the most treacherous times I have had to endure in my life. Its something that nobody truly wants. There is a lot of emotion involved from start to finish. Being scared was probably my most overwhelming feeling. Your life is literally in someone elses hands. It often felt like some sort of a war. Things are happening so fast, it is hard to understand whats going on most of the time. Terminology I have never used, heard, or even understood. It is best described as utter chaos. You have to be here, be there, sign this, read that... not comprehending any of it, and all at the speed of light. In the beginning I was freaking out to say the least. Very disappointed in the manner of treatment by this law firm !!! Phone calls were not returned in a timely manner. I was passed off to a person they called their PI for discovery information. After many, many phone calls to KC, I was finally told we would move forward. This was a civil matter and as a senior citizen, I wanted help. KC wanted a retainer for more than the case involved would produce, which was absurd!!!! I found this very unprofessional, and extremely poor customer service!!!

Bad experience Here s what happened:- I have had a legal situation and I hired them. After they told to pay $2500 for all. They start asked me more money before even start anything. When I asked why? they told me because of my opponent attorney call to discuss I get changed $250/hour. This happened so many times. When I called in office to ask the states of the process and talking to my attorney for one minutes I get charged $250. That all happened again and again. The process supposed to be done not more than 6 months by the city low but it takes more than one year. I have been told to pay $2500 and I end up more than $8000. I asked them to clear up why? they promised me to call me back and they never get backed.

This is just my honest opinion, but the lawyer that I had I feel charged way too much money to do very little. The outcome of my case would ve been the same if I didn t have a lawyer more than likely. Very nice, very friendly. I felt like I wasted my money though, I feel the only thing that the lawyer did for me was speak so that I didn t say anything stupid to the judge myself.

Not sure where to start with a medical malpractice issue, I turned to Ashmore and Ashmore for an idea of how to proceed. KC was extremely thorough on the phone, bringing to light the history of current laws with past cases and why they would affect what I was interested in pursuing. This was beyond helpful and I really appreciated that fact that he didnt take a quick dollar confident of what the outcome would be. It was evident his integrity and honesty was valued much more than his billable hours and retainer fees...and for that, I will certainly seek them out if I should need legal advice in the future.

I have been using KC Ashmore Law firm for over 5 years and found them to be very good at various civil matters from property law to civil litigation on business maters and insurance law. The Law Office of KC Ashmore deserves a 10 STAR Review. KC Ashmore got a serious traffic offense dismissed for me which saved me from a conviction and a an enormous insurance battle. This cab driver hit my car, crunched in the side and was trying to blame me for causing an accident where they were clearly at fault. The prosecutor would not budge until KC Ashmore, a highly skilled trial lawyer, let them know that we had witnesses and were completely ready to try the case before a jury. They talked to our witness, dismissed the case & charged the cab driver. Mr. Ashmore is very professional, well prepared for trial, promptly returns phone calls and is a tough Texas trial lawyer. He gets an A+++ in my book!
