We really enjoyed our visit to Texas Axe & Ale on Friday. There are so many things to do if youre not throwing axes or have kids. Our coach Mike was awesome, patient, funny, and made the night memorable. We tried some new drinks at the bar, which were delicious. Lastly, the owners greeted us and made sure we had a great experience. Plus, everything is indoors which is priceless in this Texas heat. Well definitely be back soon.

We have been here twice now. The owner and his wife were super friendly and made sure we had a great time! Had some good grub at a food truck they had set up outside, good variety of adult beverages at the bar inside. Parking: The location looks pretty commercial outside but youll be surprised at how comfortable and fun the inside is set up!

This place is so much fun! We had our own trainer/game coordinator who just so happened to be the owner. After a few practice throws, we played several games and had many laughs. We were even shown some trick throws. The drinks and the UBP Food Truck were a perfect ending to great hour of axe throwing. Thank you Texas Axe & Ale for a great evening!

My family went for my husbands birthday last night and it was a blast. The owners were so friendly and Jason gave us some intresting information about axe throwing. He helped me get a bullseye my second throw they have food trucks outside for food and that also was amazing! This is definitely a place to go with your friends, family, and even coworkers if you need a fun team building. Its different than other axe throwing places because they teach you the art, give you fun facts and even show you some trick shots. Its worth the trip!

Our family got together for a birthday. It was so nice to be able to celebrate an adult birthday with family members of all ages. Loved the atmosphere. A little something for everyone. The staff was very friendly and the coaches were amazing. We look forward to spending more family time here! Vegetarian options: Alongside their regular menu, a great on-site taco truck also offers vegetarian tacos. Nachos and waffle fries served with a variety of toppings are also offered with or without a meat selection. Parking: Large gravel parking lot offers plenty of parking. We went for a friends birthday and had so much fun! Being led by our Axpert through games. There were 5 of us and we got split into 2 teams to compete against each other in these games. They were very informative of how to throw the axe and handling the axe. Our Axpert stayed with our group the whole time and would help make adjustments on our throws when needed. It was overall such a fun experience we laughed and had such a great time. THANK YOU ALL AT TEXAS AXE & ALE for hosting us it was so amazing

Everything was AWESOME!!! Im so glad we found this spot. Open atmosphere, CLEAN restrooms, AC, DELICIOUS beer (stout/porter and Mango Cart... YES), superb service... free pool play and arcade play... food truck. So excited to have this spot as an option to hang out and bring my daughter to.:) Kid-friendliness: My 14 year old had a blast axe throwing and picked up on it really quick. My family and friends love coming here. The kids can hang out and play video games or table games while the parents axe throw. They have a great selection of craft beers and also offer wine and ciders. I havent had a chance to really dive into the food offered at the food trucks but the food looks amazing. Let me also add that the service is amazing and its a family owned business. So you are supporting a local business

This is such a fun place for all ages! The ax throwing is geared for any experience level. The staff is fantastic at assisting and answering questions. We were well taken care of. There are great food trucks regularly on the weekend and other events throughout the week. While youre waiting or just hanging out, there is a pool table and video games. At each table, there is a tabletop game as well.

Heather & Jason do a fantastic job at welcoming everyone like its their own home! We really just needed a night out from the standard dinner/movie & this was absolutely perfect for us!! What an incredible place. The owners are just the coolest people with a great place to take the family for some fun. Huge space, great drink selection, FREE ARCADE GAMES, plus a whole mess of throwing bays with expert coaches. Mike basically became our friend while he taught us to throw axes. Our first time ever Axe throwing and we learned a lot from Johnnie who wad out assigned instructor. He had several games for our group to play that taught us team work, trained us in aiming, home in our unnatural throwing skill, made the competitive side come out, and was so great we want to come back even though we stay in Kingwood, TX. The establishment is very clean and organized. Several different table games to play for free that I have never played before. The owner takes pride in his place of business as well as making sure you feel safe and like everyone is family there. Many drinks to choose from as well as variety of food trucks that come by. Parking: Lots of parking in the front as long as people park right. Kid-friendliness: Arcade games are free as well as cornhole and pool table. Everyone there is so kind to kids of all ages.

The food truck staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that we were served promptly and with a smile. My husband took the family here for my b day. It was a fun surprise. The video games are free and the kids that were too young to throw kept themselves busy. The instructor showed us what to do and let us play a game or told us what was what score wise and we tried to out throw each other. I loved how laid back it was and how kid friendly it is. Outstanding boards where your axe always sticks. Ive been to other axe throwing places and the wood is so darn hard that the axe just falls off even after it goes in the wood. Also, the folks are so nice and many different beers to drink. Definitely a hidden gem.

We really enjoyed our time there. A staff member gave us a lesson on how to throw the axe before we started and gave pointers through out our time there. There were other activities for those not interested in learning about axes. My husband enjoyed his craft beer (Im not a beer drinker). Food was not available that night, but we did bring our own.

It was a grand time celebrating my daughters and husbands anniversary. The grandkids also had a great time too. They loved the atmosphere. We had a fantastic time and would recommend your place as a family gathering place. It was . Thanks Jason you made the experience sooo delightful and fun. We would do it again!!! Kid-friendliness: We had our grand kids with us. Ages 13,8 and 4. They loved the game machines, the pool table. They literally tried every game and had a lot of fun too.

None in our group had ever thrown axes before. We didn t know what to expect but Mike made our experience so much fun! As our coach and scorekeeper, he kept the friendly competitions going. The beer was cold. We played the free video games, cornhole, and pool. Thank you

Great place to hangout and have a good time! The atmosphere was so inviting and friendly My husband and I went on a date night and had a blast! They have venders that sell snack, a food truck was outside and the alcohol inside. The coach was great and around to help. If you get tired of axe throwing, there are games on every table and some fun arcade games! We will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Video game machines, plenty of seating for table games.

Had such a great time , we went to go throw for a little and ended up closing the place, Wings and FF where amazing (which you don t have to throw to eat, drink and play games for free) Jason the owner was absolutely amazing We had so much fun with him and are definitely going back, definitely want to try the burgers which they are well known for! So much outdoor seating also to hang out eat, drink and listen to music, If it s chilly out they have a fire pit and heated lamps where the couches are! ITS A MUST GO TO PLACE! Such a fun place we can t wait to go back! More than just axe throwing! We played video games, pool, and tons of other table games while getting drinks from the bar. The owner is such an amazing guy who took the time to show us how to axe throw and play different axe throwing games. It was such a fun night we stayed til closing! Plus the food truck has the most amazing wings and they re huge!

This has been my second time now at Axe & Ale and it s been so much fun both times! Super helpful tips from the owner and I love the games that he facilitates. They also have an amazing drink selection. I m excited to come back when I m in town again because by then the food truck will be there daily and I know the food will be amazing as well!

What a wonderful experience! We booked here for my husbands 55th birthday. He had been here 1 time before with a church group, and he got an offer for a birthday party, and he wanted his guests to come here to celebrate him! Jason, the owner, and his wife (please forgive me, I didnt get her name--however, she is FABULOUS!) hosted a fabulous party. This was a very involved party. We were all taught how to throw the axe. I loved how specific Jason was with his safety briefing and how he was very patient, showing us each (20 in our party) of us how to hold, stand, and throw the axe. They have a bar and non-alcoholiic drinks available. Today, they did not have a food truck, so we were able to bring in cake and some snacks. Usually, there is a food truck to get snacks from. They also had some snacks at the bar. What impressed me the most was that this couple is honoring God in their business by having a prayer wall! We are able to write prayers on tags to hang and have people pray. The back patio had a fire pit and lounge chairs. I believe they said that you can play washers and corn hole and well. It was chilly the night we went, and they had heaters on the patio. Side note...bathrooms were clean and neat.

Everything was great! The bartenders recommended ale was exactly what I would have ordered had I known it existed. And the food was OMG amazing! Huge burgers, fabulous chicken wings and fries... And axe-throwing was so much fun! I really appreciated Jasons instructions and assistance, and Mike was great leading our group through the games. Id definitely recommend!

Noah was awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. The burger from the food truck was the best Ive had since moving to Texas almost 3 years ago! Parking: Plenty of free parking and easy entrance, no stairs.
