We came for brunch Saturday. The food came out fast and was good. We ordered a drink to watch college football game. Staff is great and very accommodating. This is a great place to come hang out. Very open with indoor and outdoor spaces. Yard games and lots of space make it family friendly. I appreciate that they have a mocktail menu. I have the Sunset Sangria.

Great place to unwind and have a cold one and a good laugh! The owners are personable and easy to talk to and cut up with. Beer is always cold and food is fresh and fast with great flavor! We love this place as a parents date night or a early evening dinner with the kids.

This was my first time visiting Scotty s Saloon. Upon arrival I thought it was a cool place! What will make me never come to this place again was the manager/owner, (not sure what she was) Dina. This place has 87 one star reviews and a lot of them are to do with the way she handles and treats customers. I think that speaks for itself. I m sure my 1 star review will be another review that she will be defensive, rude and call me a liar on! My friend was charged $300 to reserve tables ONLY. I have never heard of that at any place that isn t high class. Even at other bars in the general area $300 at least gets you a personal waitress. Once again the only thing this includes was tables for the party. As a party we could have just walked in and sat at the tables for FREE because other than our party there were MAYBE 20 other people (if that) there the whole time we were there. It s sad that she caused most of our party to leave and go elsewhere losing business for the establishment and for her wait and bar staff because of her rude and defensive attitude. There were serval Irish car bomb shots ordered and they were made wrong and they were still paid for with zero complaint. We could have easily complained about that. They made them with Guinness and Yeagermister. I will say that I ordered grilled shrimp tacos and they were pretty good and the band that was there that night was pretty good as well. I ll just wait for the defensive and rude response from Dina as she has posted on almost every single 1 star review that this establishment has received. Edited to add: Just as expected, the response to a review wasn t to take information that customers not just from this night or my friends party to make things better for customers that come to your establishment, but to be rude in a response and be defensive. I m not sure how someone can have so many people calling her rude from multiple different reviews and nights (not just my friends) and still be defensive. If review after review had bad things to say about me I would think I needed to check my attitude and approach to my customers .. Also .my friend did not request that genre of music .so that s another lie! That would not have been her choice of music. The only thing she asked you was what band was playing there and your response was a nice variety house band. Nothing against the band .they were good! Also, if you brought in extra wait staff for this event why was the majority of the party having to go inside to the bar to order our drinks? I know for a fact that the only thing a waitress took an order from me was for my food. Every single drink that my husband and I ordered that night we had to walk inside to the bar.

We attended a surprise party here only to be let down after paying $300. The manager lady Dena was absolutely terrible and rude. No professionalism or customer service here. second time I ve had a party here when we ve had to leave because the manager lady is absolutely awful. She is lying in her review responses by saying she didn t talk to us. After we paid $300 the manager denna told us we NEEDED to buy Appetizers. We ordered the shrimp boil that had absolutely no seasoning on it. SAD $300 to reserve a table and no tables were actually reserved. We just sat wherever.

We came here for brunch. The food was ok. Service was so slow. I understand that its not a fancy place but the only thing that made me so uncomfortable was the chairs. They looked dirty and nasty. Like I couldnt feel comfortable sitting in my seat and eat a tasty meal because of how I couldnt even lean back and relax in my seat.

Decided to try this place that looks fun and family friendly for my birthday. We are not from Houston at all so we wanted to try it out. Food came out cold and took forever to come out. There was absolutely no manager around, staff was rude. Didn t comp our food even though we didn t eat it. They wanted us to take our food to go even though it was cold. Place was horrible and staff was horrible and extremely overpriced. Overall 0/10

Run down, poor service Edit: run down, meaning its not being maintained. Its a saloon, so I did not expect much, but it wasnt clean. The plastic covers around the inside seating area are torn, the outdoor area smells like pee.... the place needs general TLC. Service - it was a quiet night. They were slow - took forever to get our check so we could leave because the machines were down. Also, I informed the waitress it was our first time there & asked for water with lemon, she brought out two bottles of water & of course we were charged for it - no big deal but she should have let us know. This was our first time, I intentionally kept it simple because I read the reviews prior to coming, but unfortunately, the reviews are true. Its a cool spot and wed love to go back, but I hope the owner takes feedback from the reviews seriously and stops being so defensive in responses from customers.

We stopped for lunch after a morning at nearby Enchanted Forest. The place was just getting going. We took a seat at a table and were greeted by the waiter/bartender. Soon we enjoyed refreshing adult beverages. . I ordered a burger and my wife ordered the fried shrimp. I thought about trying to swap the truffle fries for plainol versions, but was assured the truffle fries were excellent. . The kitchen is in a separate building across the way, and there was a decent wait. I imagine the kitchen too was getting going, although they had a private meeting in the steakhouse already. I noted that a party of three came in around the middle of our wait, ordering crawfish. The received their order much faster than we did. Dunno. . The burger was very good. I especially liked the bacon, which was not overly crispy. However, as feared, the truffle fries were a miss for me. They were not more excellent than the usual truffle fries that I try to avoid; they were truffle fries. Good fries do not need fancy coatings. . My wifes fried shrimp were plump and coated with cornmeal. She certainly enjoyed them. I eyed her plain fries with envy. . It was a nice lunch. The wait was long, but not outrageous. I think our first customer status affected that.

Awesome place. The owner is nice and the staff are amazing. The band we came to see was a no show but Scotty gave us each a free drink. We enjoyed the band that was playing. The place is set up great with every seat being awesome. The food we ate was delicious. The prices were definitely reasonable. I wish we lived closer to come here more often. It did suck driving an hour for the band to no show. It was not Scotty s fault and he got screwed more than us. He definitely made sure his customers were not too disappointed.

We are fans of Scottys great atmosphere, good food. But like any awesomeness business there is room for improvement. This time we went on bingo night we sat on a table. Waiter never came to our table or acknowledge us. I had to go to Bar Bartender was kind enough to bring us our drinks To our table. I tried to order their Bloody Mary with works, but was told it would take 30 minutes to make. I was serve my bloody Mary in small cup. Anyway maybe next visit we can turn this review to a five star, and have a better experience.

Ordered crawfish, terrible, just terrible. They werent fresh, potatoes were cold and corn was pitted telling me that they tried to warm them up in the microwave. Lots of straight tails were in my pile. HEBs are way better. Save your money and dont waste it here. (To the owner) your crawfish are a joke! I do know what Im talking about! Arrived early to Vince King show with 6 reserved tickets. Did not have a table for us. Found one to share with other people. Hostess said she would seat us better when show starts. Did not happen. Stood in line for 55 minutes to order dinner (nachos, 2 hamburgers, 1 chicken sandwich and tacos) and drinks. Took 1 hour and 50 minutes to receive 2 hamburgers. 1 hour and 20 minutes later we received cold chicken sandwich and tacos. Near the end of the show, we got the nachos. There is nothing good I can report about this place!

The service is absolutely horrible. Theres only two artists Ill go see here. The shows are always packed yet they are always understaffed. The poor ppl trying to work get overwhelmed and are so so so SOOOOO slow. Good luck trying to get any customer service when you have a problem. The long wait and price of the food is NOT worth it. To be clear I did not say anything about the freshness of the food. Just because its fresh does not mean it was good and worth it. Disappointing really because the pics of the burgers really do look delicious and with such a long wait Id expect it to taste delicious too. Especially since I now know it is all fresh! The fried pickles had to be the saddest little pickles ever. The ranch dressing was OK although doubtful that was fresh. I have been to five events and most definitely have seen/heard how customers have been treated. This last time we only got a table because the lady (dont know her name but she is the only recurring face always there) rudely kicked the couple off of it. The couple had no idea there was a concert, he later said they just stopped in for crawfish and beer. The lady told them to eat and get out before show time and then even told them they had to move inside. Grant it, true they werent paying for the concert but there was a nicer way of speaking to them and informing them of what was happening. Then a lady came up upset they had not received their food nor were they getting any service. Now no, we didnt hear the whole conversation (bc it wasnt ours) however we did hear when voices were raised, the customer was being sent to the bar to talk to someone else but was persistent and the staffer yelled at the customer to shut up and get away from her. Who does that to a customer?! There are much better ways to speak to other adult humans and definitely when its a customer! Staff cannot keep up with serving customers food/drinks so think about it honestly...how well are the bathrooms being tended to?! Cmon! The stall I went into had no toilet paper, only one dispenser w/soap, there were beer bottles on the sink counter and the trash was overflowing so there was trash on the floor. Ie: a mess of a bathroom. Dont dare say it was a busy night so the expectation of the bathroom shouldnt be high. It is because it was a busy night that management should make sure they were checked, restocked and tidied up some. Taking some accountability and making an effort to do better could go a long way for customers.

Can t speak for the steak house but as far as the bar and music side, we ve been there twice for midget wrestling and tonight for music 04/06. It has to be poor management because they never have had enough staff at any visit. Food took over and hour to get appetizers. Ticket lady was coming around to table asking (quite rudely) for tickets because she was not setup at the door to check as people came in. You would think they would have some clue to up their staffing on music night to take care of the paying customers. Probably won t be back.

This was the worst experience that I experienced at a event where the owner was worried about taking ticket prices instead of attending to customers like they said, we had to wait almost 45 minutes for a drink and then we were asked you finish your food by 745 before I event begins our band, and then there was other participants told the same thing they were waiting almost 47 minutes to be served and when they got served, they got the food to go because it was a limited time now we re all going to a different area to a place called flying cow, which is not very far from it Totally bad service. The management is totally not at fault because one reason is that I heard her and moving around so concentrate on collecting tickets for the band playing tonight instead of working on Customer Service the line was extremely long in the bar line as well people waiting, almost an hour for the food , this was an horrible experience. I would never ever go back there.

Busy St Paddy s Day for our table of 8 to be disappointed with the slow service because obviously they were short staffed, not to mention short and rude! Went there for the micro wrestling night. Was horribly understaffed for the crowd. The drink lines were excessive at each bar. The owner definitely isnt helping the satellite bar by not giving them speed pour spouts and requiring both bars to use jiggers to measure shots. It doesnt take much practice for your bartenders to learn how to pour shots by count. They probably already know how tbh but you (owner) probably dont trust them enough to let them do it. It took well over an hour to get our food order (onion rings and fries). I dont hold the staff responsible for this, they were all putting out the best effort they could. My impression is the owner was trying to squeeze every dollar out of the event by having the bare minimum amount of staff working. Judging by the other reviews this seems to be a pattern whenever theres an event or concert. And seeing the owner consistently blame customers in his replies is the opposite of what you do to keep people coming to your establishment. I almost spit my drink out when he said in one of his replies that a 20-30 min wait for drinks was normal in other bars when its busy. Im sure this could be a great place if the owner would get out the way of his employees but since Im never going back, Ill never know.

Went with some friends for the micro-wrestling event, expecting a good time. We went to get drinks, and we waited a good half hour before getting anything. The actual wrestling started a whole 1 hour and 45 minutes later than scheduled, and was low energy. Two members of my party were ACTIVELY ignored by bartenders because they were serving their friends behind them. Food took hours to get, and was all in all, a terrible experience and will not be going back. I recommend going somewhere else, 100%.

Attended Midget wrestling last Saturday. 10/10 would not recommend this venue. They were horribly understaffed. Only had 2 bars available with an average wait for 45 minutes in line for drinks.Bar tenders were mixing drinks with jiggers not speed pour. No beer tubs were set up. Seems like the owner of this bar doesnt want to take ownership of the disorganization that occured last night at the micro Wrestling show. You were clearly not prepared for this crowd and yes it DID TAKE 3 HOURS TO GET FOOD! It was so bad that people in our area, kind strangers were sharing food with each other. Looks like to me the greed of the overselling of tickets for the show was taken priority over accommodating the guests. Zero stars if I could for the terrible food service and lack of organizing the event properly. **Adding** Based on the owners reply he clearly doesnt understand a BIG DIFFERENCE in his comparison to people visiting his bar vs places like gringos ihop etc....the difference sir is that you took up front our $77 and then made us wait 3 hours to get what we paid for!!! My girlfriend and I came to this bar for an event and we were spoken to so rudely. The owner of the bar tried to kick us out and threatened to get law enforcement involved. Very homophobic and not a place for everyone. Way to drive paying customer away. **edited to say we are NOT underage if you would have asked for an ID instead of talking down on us. So unprofessional! We had WATER. I ve been able to bring waters into plenty of bars and you could have simply said I m sorry but we don t allow outside food or drinks cool I ll put it back. Our 1st time and it was exactly what this family with a young adult needed. Good food, great band, amazing staff. Had the bacon Swiss burger medium and omg!! That bacon was just right! Scotty s signature burger was hubbys order and he said for the size he was glad he didn t double patty it . Son had grilled shrimp platter, there was nothing left he said the seasoning was just right. Oh and those were some of the best fried pickles I ve ever had. Thanks for a great family night out!

Sat down and approached by 3 different servers to take a drink order for two people. Was immediately told that the place was sooo busy and tough to get drinks and food out. This was one hour before bingo night even started and the place was 1/3 full. We then ordered food that never came - over 3 hours and during that time we asked repeatedly for updates and were told it will be right out. We noticed the regulars were all watered down and fed. Guess they dont want to grow their patronage. We mentioned this to the owner but were called liars and told that we must have had a personal problem. hmmm.

Have been here a few times with friends. The food, drinks and atmosphere is great. The service not so much. I understand places get busy but when you have tables you need to still check on them. We never got asked if our food was okay, or if we needed anything, there were a few times where two different ladies waiting on people came by our table or looked and we were out of drinks, they have asked if we wanted more. Not that we cant go get ourselves but when you have people ordering food you should check on them. In all honesty the two we dealt with all night honestly weren t even friendly. We ordered the drinks and food at the same time, but only received happy hour prices on the drinks. We waited 30 minutes for them to correct the bill only to learn, they were not even trying to correct it and refused to do so. Also, none of us received the itemized bill. They expected us to just sign for payment blindly without providing the itemized bill. We requested itemized bills and saw the errors. The fish on the tacos tasted like and had the consistency of dry fish sticks.

I have been to Scottys many, many times and it never fails to impress me. This place is so much fun! The atmosphere is amazing, and the service is impeccable. The food is great, making the place overall great! However, what really makes this place is the event nights they plan! The live music, the bingo nights and the karaoke nights make the place so much better. But who really pulls it off is the owner, Dina. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into making the place great for customers and making sure everyone has a good experience there. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone and I hope in time this place can get the amount of people that it deserves!

Man, it kills me to write this review. Scotty s could be a great, fun brunch spot but they really need to do some work here. We got there at 11am, there were 11 of us so we weren t expecting to be in and out in an hour however it took 30 min to place a drink order. We were, literally, the only people there. I got my food 1 hr and 40 min after arriving and 1hour after the first people in our party was served. My meal was cold and incorrect. The worst part is- there was no need for it to take this long. 3 people had pancakes, 3 people had burgers, 2 had waffles. Yet everything came out at different times. Cook all the pancakes together, cook all the burgers together- there are ways to be efficient. Not to mention the server acted like we were a major inconvenience to her day. It s a shame- this could be a great brunch spot.

Avoid - or have them take your money!! We thought the brunch with Santa last Sunday would be a good idea, but sadly this was a big mistake. Arrived 11:20 and it didn t look like they were majorly busy as there were tables to sit at. After a short wait the server took the drinks and food order. She also took a card for the payment. So we waited. And waited. And waited some more. After 20 minutes without even the drinks showing up, we looked around and it seemed like the rest of the tables were encountering similar. There certainly wasn t any food coming out of the kitchen. So we decided to leave. My wife went to the manager on duty to see if this would be ok, and to have our order cancelled so that we wouldn t be charged. She apologized and said that would be the case, and an older gentleman behind the bar agreed and acknowledged the long wait time. So we went elsewhere. Fast forward two days and they process a payment on our card for the food and drinks that we didn t receive! My wife has repeatedly called to try and get this refunded. No one answering the phone seems able to do this, and trying to reach the owner for them to do it seems impossible. They continue not to return our call.

Wow, WORST service Ive experienced anywhere in my entire life. My family and I waited for 2 hours and never received our breakfast..it wasnt busy but we saw a few tables sit down after us and leave before us. Very cool place if they could get it together. No accountability for their mistakes and will say it s your fault . Got there at opening really wasn t as busy as they claim. Several drinks not brought . Appetizer never came and after over an hour and a half waiting for the food we had to argue about getting the ticket to go feed the kiddos elsewhere .wanted to make us pay for food that never came and supposedly had been cooked although looking at all the mess ups and mistakes happening all around it was very unlikely. Went to see Johnny Lee there in November, Did not realize it was partially an outdoor venue. It had rained and the tables were really bad, had to get my pants dry cleaned. Someone sent me a text when I ordered my beer so I had a time stamp. It took 22 minutes for the server to open a miller lite bottle and hand it to me, and the place was empty. My wifes mimosa flight tasted like margaritas, my street tacos were dry and bland, but my wifes chicken sandwich was pretty good. The loaded bloody mary was really really cool, pretty much a meal but not enough for me to come back here. Mimosas are $7 a piece!!! The drink prices are insane! Tequila shots are $12 for the smallest shot I ve ever seen! We got potato s and corn that were supposed to be cooked with the crawfish NO SEASONING on them at all! They charge way too much than what they provide they could do so much better especially on days when Steel Country sings but people won t go due to the high prices. Very disappointed as usual! This place has a ton of potential but when the bartender AND waitress both look miserable, that should tell you something. Worst bloody Mary Ive had in a long time, it was a strange color of brown. My husband ordered a shot of tequila. The waitress spilled half the shot because she was trying to carry too much. Didnt comp or even offer anything else. We would have ordered food and stayed to drink this afternoon if it had not taken 20 minutes for 2 drinks and the staff had a better attitude. My family went here for brunch on February 26th! The service was horrible! The food was good I hear! They got my order totally wrong and we had been here waiting for almost 2 hours (party of 7) We got their at noon! I text several times in the last week and she didn t respond at all until today after my text where I told her I was disappointed at their lack of professionalism! Then she called me with an attitude! Not a good way to do business! Today is March 23, 2023 and I still don t have my refund! I am the easiest person around to get along with! I should not have had to continue trying to reach them! They made the error and should have been in touch with me! Just sharing my experience! We also had a really bad experience yesterday. Kids wanted crawfish and by 3pm they were out, so we made the best of it and ordered off the menu. Appetizer took 45 minutes, meal another 45 minutes, so an hour and a half for a burger, wings and shrimp and 2 of the 3 meals were cold. Manager came out and did no service recovery. Just said the server should have told us it would be 45 minutes and that she touches all of the plates before they come out so doubted it was cold. What??? Why would we lie about that? Said she didnt know what she could do for us, wasnt sure what they had that they could offer us in the way of desserts. We just wanted out at that point. No one even offered us drink refills. Only one other table was in use and she said they were swamped. Was so hoping we would love the place as we drove by and it looked like a lot of fun. $73 for needing to go home and fix another meal. I ll give 3 stars for the patio and fun to be had outside! We came to get lunch and Crawfish, the Crawfish dish had so much grass in it. It was obvious they didn t rinse them at all, I was pulling grass off the crawfish and my fingers the whole time I was eating them. They tasted good other than that! I ordered potatoes and mushrooms with the crawfish, I was charged $2.99 for 1, I repeat 1 small potato. I brought it up to the waiter and he said yeah that s the price.. lol. I am a mushroom lover, but these sliced up mushrooms tasted like they were sautéed in butter then thrown on my plate. I ate 1 and that s all I could eat, they should be cooked in the crawfish boil, not in a pan with butter! They charge .50 cents for some seasoning (not a big deal) My husband got the truffle fries but didn t care for them. He said they weren t crispy at all and the flavor on them wasn t good. (That s our preference so others may like them) We didn t order anymore food since those 2 items weren t up to Par for us. I won t be eating here anymore but we would definitely come back to have some drinks on the patio. We got a bucket of beer this time so I can not speak on their mixed drinks! Also they only serve bottled water for a charge, just a heads up since we weren t told before hand. Not a problem for me but I assume some people would want to know.

As much as my wife and I were hoping for a good experience with a place so close to home, it was not. We had to make a reservation for the steakhouse and when we got there were the only people in the restaurant (which was very awkward). I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and could only stomach 1. When asked about them I voiced my concern but still had to pay for them. I ordered the bone in ribeye. The meat quality was bad and came over cooked. For the prices charged, the quality of food should be much better. My wife ordered the wedge salad and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. She said it was good, but not quality. While there the food began to mess with my stomach and I became nauseous throughout the night and next day. I honestly believe it was from the mushroom. I would not recommend this steakhouse to anyone. But as for the saloon on property is a good place to hang out and have a beer.

The manager said they would go out of business if they did that....I was COMPLETELY FLOORED at that response. They messed up our receipts, tried to make me pay for my friends drinks because I should just cover him and it ll take along time to fix the receipts . Made it very awkward at the table when she said that. It takes 5 minutes to fix a receipt, so that was pretty lazy of them.
