I was holding back on this bad review but as it seems the matter I had issues with will never get resolved this is just fair for me to do so and not have any others scammed. Well , I had reserved in advance and in person on 6/30/2024 for the date of 7/6/2024 total paid was $400 , it resulted that on 7/6/2024 there was a thunderstorm in the area and park as per usual has to close , my party and I did not make it to the park that day and since it is very close by I went in person to try to get a refund or simply change for a different date as I was trying celebrating my kids birthday well the supervisor did take my information yet never reached out , made multiple calls after that yet it never got resolved . I then tried to dispute with my bank but since I did authorize the transaction the dispute did not proceed . That s just how I truly don t recommend this place . Will never be visiting.

Nice place to bring the family be careful using the restroom/ shower room in the front because the floor is always wet. I was wearing flip flops and took a nasty fall that needed a bandage afterwards. lm ok.

This was a pretty cool, inexpensive waterpark to take the kids to. They loved the wave pool, the lazy river, the playground, and the splash pad! The water slides were a little too big for their liking, but they still had a blast! My favorite part is that you can bring your own food into the park, and the parking is free.

Decided to try this water park for the first time. Drove a hour just to get to the service window three hours before closing time and was informed half the park was closed, including the kids section due to contamination. Only a few rides were still operating. Unfortunate and a waste of time.

Yesterday I had a sad experience in this water park that was my favorite years ago, I suffered a bad fall in the bathroom, I had not realized that they had no signs of wet floors or absorbent mats or people trying to dry the floor, no. I was the only one who slipped, there were many people going through the same thing, unfortunately I had to fall and I am 30 weeks pregnant, it was a big scare, I cant imagine that someone older or a child would fall and really suffer greater damage. I cant believe that area doesnt have mats, wet floor signs, or even someone trying to keep the floor safe.

Its a good way to cool down on a hot day. The slides are fun, the lines were not long and it was a nice water sport experience. The areas are kept clean and sanitary by the attendants and there is enough covered areas for varying family sizes

Where do I start. Disaster! I paid a $20 cooler fee to bring in my own cooler. Nowhere on my contract or receipt does it say that the cooler has to be 48 quart or less! Mine was a 52 qt. I had to take it back to my car and spend so much money on drinks inside. Then, we were escorted to our private cabana( which is NO cabana at all... just a large umbrella with 2 sleeper lounges and a table with 4 chairs. No fan, no couch and no wait staff. 47 minutes in line to order some disgusting chicken tenders and burned mozzarella sticks. Avoid going out here at all costs. Typhoon Texas in Katy is a MUCH better option.

I went there yesterday 7/30 to have some fun the the fam but bound to entering we were trying to get in with our cooler which was 50courts and the limit was supposedly 48 courts and they didn t let us in with our cooler. But once we got in (we only stayed because we had already bought the tickets online) we saw several people with the same cooler and we even saw someone else with a much bigger cooler and we complained about it but they said it was because the cooler was a yeti and it had insulation and it makes it look bigger but then again every cooler has insulation hint the name cooler!! and to top it off the cooler wasn t even a yeti. So pirates bay STOP CHANGING YOUR RULES EACH WEEKEND!!!

I dont recommend it to anyone, its a place where many mediocre rules have been put in place. Its no use coming to this water park because they tell you a price online and when you get to the place they give you another price. Its incredible how they steal from people. Last year we had good tickets and they didnt have space because they were just starting out and they were very fair with one today. Even for the suitcase they charge you, the airport stops charging you for suitcases, this place is useless, I dont recommend it, not even free, today they charge you for everything

My family and I make plans every summer with the kids, cousins, and friends(on a week day). This year was crazy different! ...and not in a good way. We pre buy tickets, just easier. Welp, ticket prices went up...okay understandable. There are a lot of newer and bigger water parkes out there. But a COOLER FEE!! Now, I wasnt upset until we actually checked in. Day of standing in line(5th in line from the front), sun is beaming, we are waiting to go through bag check and before it was our turn the guy warned us about cooler pass. He said my bag where I had the dry food(bread, chips, napkins, etc.) needed to also be purchased as a cool pass, along with the actual rolling cooler we had. Like what! People come up here for hours, a full day even, and yall want cooler pass for all bags with food! This is ridiculous now. My sister had her own snacks and water bottle in HER personal bag, and they made us move it to the cooler. We ended up having to purchase another cooler fee at the gate, because why would we take half our food when we need the other half....and spent about $75 more than last year!

I want to remember this issue: Its been 1 week and 2 days since I havent received a refund for my cooler pass at the park. Theres no way to contact them. I was told it would take 2 to 3 business days, but I havent seen the refund yet. Before COVID, my family and I used to visit the park early in the morning. It was nice, and there were long lines of happy people. However, during our recent visit, we noticed changes due to COVID. Now, I understand why there are shorter lines. Here are the issues we encountered: 1. Cooler passes and registration: We needed cooler passes to bring a cooler, but there are specific size requirements. Each pass cost $21.65. We had to buy two passes for coolers that were barely the required size. We were lucky to find one spare cooler that met the size requirement. When I asked for a refund for one of the passes, I was told it would take 2-3 business days. 2. Food and drink restrictions: We were asked to keep all food and drink in iceboxes, bags, and zipped bags. As we were entering, they told us that water and bread needed to be in the cooler, so we had to squeeze everything into a small cooler. 3. Reserved tables: It was difficult to find a table, as many were reserved and not public seating. We had to separate from our family to find public tables. Eventually, we found 3 tables near the tube slides. To reserve an area, you have to pay $450, as you cant buy a table. 4. Fees for items from unattended coolers: If you had to leave your cooler in the car, you could go out, but if you brought something from the unattended cooler, you were charged. Despite these issues, the park itself was still enjoyable and had the same rides and size, but the tables had been rearranged.

Highly disappointed in this trip. We drove 1 1/2 hour to relax and float the lazy river on our one day off to pay $80 for 2 people, and there wasnt enough floats for the lazy river . So we spent most of the time walking the lazy river , half of the people there were also having to do this because of lack of tubes. They had other tubes that were the same size for a ride , and they wouldn t let you bring those into the water . Probably will not be going back , seeing as that s the only reason we went .

For a waterpark in the middle of Baytown, I was very impressed! Expect a smaller water park with all of the essentials. They have all of the thrill slides, family-friendly slides, slides for little ones, a lazy river, wave pool, and more! Its a great layout and a very safe location for families. Definitely recommend!

Loved this place! Small enough you wont get lost and big enough to have fun. Plenty of lifeguards. You can bring your own cooler. 20.00 Small one. No glass containers! No strollers and no big umbrellas. But, while you are waiting in line for it to open, you may need one. So make sure it is small that it can go in your bag. Everything is searched. No smoking of any kind inside park. Have fun!

Be aware .for Little Bitty Beach Party event ..we have come to this the past two summers and very excited this year. Always bought tickets at gate. Drove 1 hr and 15 min to get here with 4 yr old and 3 1/2 month old to be turned away. They were at full capacity which no where in advertisement says limited number. Talked to supervisor and nothing they could do . Others were upset it took an hour just to get into the gate. If you decide to go .purchase online and get there super early to be first at gate. Hope this helps. We really are grateful for this event and no other waterpark does this. Sad we had this experience when we love it here. Hope there is better organization in the future.

Bad for babies, terrific for toddlers. Do not bring any baby under the age of 1 unless you plan on just baby wearing them all day. Facility was nice, experience with staff was not great. Went to the itty bitty beach party party with my 4 year old and 10 week old, expecting to have a family day. Pros: -Allowed to bring food and drinks in -Life vests available for toddlers, children, and adults -Clean facility. Water park was nice (this was why I gave 3 stars and not 2) Cons: -The wait to get in for the itty bitty beach party was really long, even with purchasing ahead online. We had friends who waited so long, they packed up and went back home. They need a better method to get people through the line faster. -I didnt understand the double standards... *No wagons UNLESS your child is sitting in it. I had my baby in his carrier, in the wagon and we were told we couldnt bring it in, but then there were other families who were allowed to bring a wagon in because their children were using it as a stroller ( I even saw one family with the same wagon I had). *No accommodations for baby floaties under 1 year. (We were told we couldnt use ours because it had a warning label. We assumed because it wasnt coast guard approved or could be used as a life saving device- but the tubes used for the lazy river also have a warning on them, so Im not understanding that. They did let me keep the floatie up front though so I didnt have to tote a baby in a car seat, a 4 year old, and 2 bags back to the car again. BUT....) *Our floatie was thrown in the trash and the cover that came with it was given away to another family. When we were leaving at about 10:15/10:20 with the beach party crowd, I went to grab the floatie and they had to pull it out of the trash... and I was told the cover was accidentally given away. - Baby changing table was broken so I just changed the baby out in the open. Overall was very disappointed that it was marketed as a whole family event for littles and accommodations were readily avaliable for toddlers and children, but not babies. Again, great for toddlers, HUGE disappointment for babies, so it could definitely be a disappointment for moms whove had a baby in the past year.

I ve been here once before years back..things are different.the cooler rule I hate 20$ for under 45qt I believe even if u bring a bag.Thats crazy and that s why I gave a lower score and 35$ each person what happen to after a certain time the price was lower..It s a little pricey now.

It was our first time to visit the Waterpark. Although we enjoyed the park, the shade throughout and tables and chairs. The wave pool and lazy river was where we spent the most time. My only complaint was the music was EXTREMELY LOUD! I don t mind music but this was uncomfortably loud. My concern to was if anyone was in trouble they would not be heard crying for help. You had to yell to talk to each other.. there were times in the afternoon it seemed a little softer but then another song would come on and it would be extremely loud again. We went to a restaurant after and even our waitress told us without us saying it first that the music is to loud. I would love to go back, but until this is changed and I know it is my family will not go back or recommend it to our friends.

Went on weekday and weekend. Definitely recommend during the week. Paid 170 for weekday and almost 240 for weekend (3 adults 2 kids)Then they over charged us cause their system didnt print the tickets so re-scanned it and sure enough its on the statement. My kids Definitely enjoyed it tho. An hopefully we get our money back asap.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!! Worst experience everrrr!! They charge for coolers and Will not let you in with Any Food Or bagss Unless their in coolers . Even if its ( chips) they need to be in the cooler, its ridiculous for a waterpark .. I ended up paying for All Of my cooler s and had the audacity to not let me in with one cooler only because of the size witch it was Just a regular cooler. This is the worst waterpark i ve been too !! Also all the staff Will provide different information in regarding Food, prices ect the worst Including the manager and they do not give refund at ALL !! I will NEVER come back to this horrible place !!

Hands down worst water park I ve ever been to I asked the young boy before I went in what was the policy for when it rains. And he responded I m not the weatherman and I don t make the policy. I paid 200$ for me and my family to go in for 10 minutes it rained out and lost my money. Lost my receipt and they wouldn t let me rain check wasn t helpful at. I do not recommend this place not friendly and overly pricey. And terrible policies

This is the best waterpark in the area! Pirates bay is great for going with family and friends. They have tons of exhilarating waterslides and even an area for the little kids. They also have a lazy river, wave pool, and even concessions.

the water park is good. HOWEVER, there was a lady at the very front where they check people in and she is horrible. Idk how much she gets payed but she was so rude. Be warned: bring a big cooler because all your food such as chips, cookies, bread, any food has to go in the cooler and no they do not mention in their website. If it s not in the cooler you will literally get sent to the back of the line. She was being so annoying because we had our cooler a slightly bit opened and she threatened to throw us in the back of the line because of it. When the line was huge. The water park is good but that lady can literally make your experience worse, idk her name but I just know she works at the front and she s old.

We went on a weekday (6/28) which is only $25.00. Wasn t crowded, plenty of loungers.. small park. Would definitely go back on a weekday. I don t think I would pay $40 for a weekend ticket.

I got a season pass this year due to how much my family and I enjoyed it last year. This year seemed to be in chaos. We went multiple times and everytime we were told different information by employees, no one was on the same page. Almost all of the food selections were sold out the whole season and when they were available they were insanely expensive. Last year the life guards seemed happy to be there. This year they looked like you were inconveniencing them by being there. Multiple guards were also sleeping while they were on the stands. More rides were up and working this year at least. The water was never dirty (other than stray trash) and more importantly, the water was cold!
