They get you into a room for those of us who do not have inside voices...lol I greatly appreciate the treatment we receivThe folks here always do a great job and Kennedy loves getting all their attention lol. The staff was very nice and friendly. My dog is very shy and scared of new people and the staff was very understanding of that and made me and my baby feel at ease. I was able to get my girl her heartworm meds at a reasonable rate and get her problems taken care of that day. Her eye was swollen shut and after we left, the swelling had gone down by the time we got home. Thank you so much

After calling my Maltese mine for 16 yrs and 3 months, I knew I had to make the toughest decision of putting him to rest. There s no easy or best way but the staff at Penny Paws in Richland Hills was far more than I could ve ever asked for in that moment. Such a horrible experience!! We went to have our dog put to sleep and they kept us waiting for over 45 minutes. Told us a couple of time sorry for the delay but running behind. I was crying my eyes out and to make someone sit and have to wait for such a difficult situation is just wrong. Would never recommend this place. Yes they see animals put down everyday but I m so disappointed. We walked out and will find a different vet!!!

Mobile clinic is good, especially this last time. Everyone was friendly and quicker than expected. A couple times in prior visits the girls were super snooty because of a mistake the clinic made with my dogs records, but some other lady inside figured it out and apologized. Havent had any issues really aside from that. Theres one lady there that I wish I knew her name, but shes the main reason why I go there still. Overall I would recommend.

I believe her name was Heather Amazing staff, so nice and patient and answered every question I had We will be making this our official vet its nice to have such wonderful people who care about animals to work with. They have been great in the past years, but we recently took two of our pups in to get neutered and dew claws removed and one pup needed more staples in his dew claw site as the stitches werent enough, and on Saturday no one was responding to help us... By Saturday our other pup wasnt able to use the bathroom properly and then by late Sunday night the other pup got a hematoma by his surgery site. The vets at VEG in alliance have been amazing and so kind and are helping our boys heal properly. Penny paws didnt even call to check in on our boys like our new vet does at Bonds Ranch in Haslet. Like I said, in the past we have trusted them and care has been good but as of late this normal procedure has turned into thousands at the emergency vet to make sure our boys are okay.

Dr. Dost is the absolute best! I drive over 15 miles to bring my fur-baby to see her. There are plenty of veterinarians where I live but, I dont want him to see just any veterinarian. I want him to see someone that gets down on the floor with him and treats him with love and kindness. She does just that! Thank you for making Georgie feel safe and comfortable.

I went to the vaccination clinic.Service was below average. They didnt seem to want to be there or care for the pets. They also didnt know how to handle the pets very well. Update I went to Penny Paws this morning 8/05/24 because my fur baby could not stand and was in distress. The office opens ar 8 but a vet doesnt get there until 9. My pet was a patient there. So,I expected to be shown to a room to wait for the vet. This did NOT happen. I was treated like a beggar at the door and told to go to the Animal ER as it was just up the road. This is not a caring place in my opinion. My fur baby did not make it. I would not recommend this place at all.

Front office staff was extremely efficient with intake and billing. I like it. Veterinary Assistant that assessed the reason for our visit was thorough yet not over bearing, Her smile was genuine; letting me know right away that were all in this dance of life together. I inquired whether she had eaten a nice lunch to which she replied that she was in the process of doing so in-between patients. Im certain duty comes into play here but the gal was obviously enthusiastic with her role and only people that get it can understand why. Im loving it. And finally Dr. Marlene commands her presence. Pleasant on the eyes she begins with questions. She cant sculpt without clay! Time being precious she makes her recommendations. Maestra! Immediately I realize where the efficiency, enthusiasm and motivation comes from and silently thank a close friend that recommended Pennypaws to me. I met Dr. Reigle on 6/15 and had a great interaction with him. He seemed kind and was friendly and reassuring that I was doing everything correctly in making sure my dog kept things moving in her system to get rid of the 3 corncobs she ate (good grief). The tech staff was also hilarious in their shock at her food consumption and lightly bragging about what Sapphie did. Everyone was very nice, and the sense of urgency could be felt, but it wasnt overwhelming. Again, I trust Penny Paws to always take care of my babies.

This was absolutely the best pet experience Ive ever had. They were absolutely beyond patient with my extremely jittery & skittish dog. While she is a giant teddy bear at home, she doesnt do vets well. This whole team put in efforts to show her she was safe, loved and okay at this office. I was completely thrown off by exactly how much everyone put in. We were able to make some headway with her vet experience, and I havent been able to do that in years. I cant thank this entire staff enough for how much they were able to do. I recommend this office if you want a FANTASTIC place to take your fur babies to. They will receive the best care by the best team, and you wont have to throw in your arm and leg while having to pay. Completely affordable while having 10s across the board for service & care. Location is ideal and they have a GORGEOUS & super clean office. Again, best experience ever for my babies. Thank you again, Richland Hills Penny Paws! You are amazing!

Came in for simple sutures, wanted to charge me $1500 and werent even going to wrap it for me. Gaping wound and she didnt even stick around long enough to look at the rest of him. Dr.Dost and Lainy are sweet...but the old one...she doesnt care about anything but money. Im doing the sutures my damn self.

On Saturday 18, It was my first time going to penny paws. I heard nothing but good things about this clinic. It was extremely busy, so there was a long line. It was moving fast so I didn t mind. As I was waiting I was observing the shots were being done on multiple pets. The young man and young woman seemed very caring and professional. A dog was about to get his/her shots, it started freaking the owner was embarrassed of her dog s behavior and apologized none stop. The young man assured the owner no need apologize, the young woman began to pet the dog until it calmed down. While doing the vaccines they would stop to allow the dog to calm down. I was next in line to check in, but before I was able to check the crew began to run towards the back parking lot. Apparently an older woman was knocked down by her dog. The woman had her head split open, the crew jumped right in with no hesitation. The young man and young woman that were doing the vaccines did not hesitate to jump in to render aid on the woman. The young woman that was checking in people seemed to be checking the pulse of the woman while giving updates to the 911 operator. The young man was focusing on keeping the woman alert by snapping his fingers and talking to her. The young woman that was doing vaccines was focused on stopping the bleeding. While some of the crew members panicked during the situation ( which I understand) Other workers provided shade with a jacket to the. I had to leave because my kids were crying because of the situation. I will be changing my dog to this clinic asap. The team in my eyes are hero s

Love their staff, only ever been to the Saturday clinic. For shots and flea meds. But their staff is great! My only complaint is when my dog got sick and I called to make an apt to see the doc they couldn t get her in for days, which at the time we thought she had a uterine infection, she wouldn t have lasted days. So they are too big/busy for emergent situations. We ended up going to another vet that could get her in same day.

**UPDATE - Lowered to 1 star because were now finding out you gave the WRONG DOG bordatella updates, which we paid for. Thanks again! Dont think we will ever come here again after our experience. Front office staff were very unprofessional and laughing about several mistakes one member seems to continually make, like its a usual thing and its funny. Until she made a mistake on a quote that we asked for clearly, and failed to mention it would be DOUBLE the quote because she failed to understand what I asked for. So upon next visit, the bill was DOUBLE. Upon 3rd visit it seems like Noone has any idea whats going on and keep offering vaccines we dont need. To ADD, my first visit there was a VERY disgruntled client who made a big scene, assumably because of this same staff members error. I did not care for how cavalier all the staff were about mistakes being made. Especially when it comes with a financial repercussions toward the client.

The vet doctors are very good. I have learned that you need to ask questions about what choices are available? if you cant afford the prices? Just let them know. They will work with you. Its important to them that your dog is well and look out for your best interest.

We just recently had an impromptu (I guess became emergency? Hahaha) visit last week. We had to take our dog Biggie to get a vaccine and they were able to fit him right in! Upon pulling up to the facility his name was on the board which was soo sweet! When we walked into the facility, Biggie was immediately greeted (and myself but ick humans) and we got checked in. There wasn t a stink or anything that made him or myself nervous. Vet offices can be weird okay. Someone at the desk immediately came around and gave Biggie scratches, a treat and special attention! Our wait time was minimal (which i appreciate). Once we went in the exam room he was a bit nervous but every staff member we interacted with made eye contact with me and gave Biggie lots of love. They made sure to walk me through every single detail of the visit, what was going on, the cost and all the options available! We found out he has quite the ear infection and the vet was so communicative about everything that I had no hesitation about his care and definitely want to return. I wish I remembered the adults who assisted in his care but both of them were absolutely fabulous. Cannot recommend Penny Paws NRH enough! They even called to check up on him after the visit to make sure he was okay. *Biggie Smalls was not harmed in the making of this photo*

Penny Paws should be called Gold Brick. They advertise low cost but for euthanasia and cremation for an 80 lb dog they charge $300 MORE than the majority of vet clinics in the area. They should be sued for false advertising. PLEASE get quotes from other vet clinics before being scammed by this business.

My pup is extremely reactive and being around people he doesnt know is rough for him. Everyone that we have encountered here not only treats him with loads of respect, understanding and compassion, they also do that towards my husband and myself. I truly appreciate all that they do for us and our furbaby!

Thank you to the staff for being there for me today. I lost my best bud of 10 years, who had been with me through a lot of changes, and it was really hard on me. The whole thing was abrupt and out of the blue. You guys handled everything perfectly, and I m sorry to have to put you in that position as a random walk in. I really appreciate your care.

Penny Paws used to be great and Dr D was amazing. But they have spread their staff too thin and no one else seems to care about your issues that are urgent. They always have an excuse as to why a manager is not available and they are rude on the phone when you ask for a vet to speak to you they refuse. My dog recently had surgery and has had nothing but complications and every time I call it s pulling teeth to get any help. I m considering sueing for neglect as I ve almost lost my dog twice to issues. I m taking my business elsewhere where!

the young men and women you have outside did not seem like they cared. there was no one in front of me and i still waited 5 minutes. they were on there phones, someone had there child with them and they were watching a video. did not take any interest in our dog, just grabbed her, gave here the shots and see you later. most of these animals are scared when they come out , they did not even try to console our dog, it was like herding cattle through the gate. no personal touch. worst i have ever experienced there. and i will not be back.

They wait time was very short once I arrived for my appointment. All staff was very nice. My dog is already a nervous dog in general, but the staff made several attempts with success to make me and my dog feel comfortable. Very knowledgeable as well

I was so impressed with the care teams friendliness and willingness to work with Biscuits personality and needs. I was grateful that they explained each cost and helped me save $100 on the visit. Biscuit loved the staff and came out wagging his tail.

We went in to get Roscoes annual check up and vaccinations. There we found out he had very bad ear infections in both ears. We were clearly explained the proper steps we were going to be taking to get him healed. We were very grateful with the amount of information we received from the doctor. With our last vet, we werent able to go inside with him to ask questions. We were also recommended a site to use for approved dental products for Roscoe.

I trust Penny Paws with my young and old cats and dogs. This veterinary clinic provides estimates for services before starting. The clinic has equipment and skill for dental x-ray, bone x-rays, blood work and other tests. The workers have been practical and nice with our pets They are our family vet choice since 2014. I feel that recommended tests are appropriate. Prices have been reasonable and less than our previous vet. From online comps, PP is not the least expensive for some services listed online. They are worth the price and drive for me. Dr Dost is skilled and compassionate; she is the best.

For anything other than cheap vaccinations, I would NOT recommend this clinic. Poor customer service and follow-through, together with inexperienced vets without a real connection & commitments to their clients could jeopardize your pet.
