I love this little park because there is a lot of shade and plenty of space to walk the dog! It has a great, covered, picnic area and a child play area. It also has a basketball court and its right on the White Rock Trail.

Great shaded park with lots of trees, fun play equipment, and a creek to explore. Plenty of picnic tables (including a shelter area) and benches, many of them in the shade. The only bathroom are a couple of portalets, but they do the job if you need it.

This is the most poorly built, dangerous playground I ve ever been to. I m not sure how anyone approved the renovation of this park a year ago to what it is now. Half of the playground is already broken, and what is left of it is so dangerous. The grass and the areas surrounding the park are overgrown and the trash is overflowing half the time. It s really such a bummer that this park is unusable with so many young children in the Lakewood neighborhood.

The greenery is lovely, and there are some nice walking paths. However, the playground equipment could use updating, and the lack of shaded areas is a downside, especially during hot days. Its an okay spot for a quick visit, but theres room for improvement to make it more family-friendly and comfortable for all visitors.

It s really nice and clean, but it s also obvious that people of color are not welcomed! This is the second time I ve bought my child here and both times there were lots of families and I can count how many welcoming smiles we ve seen even though we shared ours. It s so sad that it was so obvious to the point of us leaving before we planned to leave. I will never come back to this park. By the way, we re new to Dallas and I know now where to stay away from.

Please pack out your trash if you have an event and the trash cans are already too full to accommodate the trash your event created. Dont be that person, thanks. Great park, last time I was there it was obvious someone had a birthday party and just left all their trash behind overflowing out of the trash cans. Sorry about the rant but dont be a slob, pack it in, pack it out.

Wonderful park, childhood memories, and peaceful surrounding neighborhood. Its a great spot to have an event at with a bunch of yard space, basketball court, picnic tables under a roof, and a nice park. Playground: Lots of things to do and get on. Toilets: Big porter potty. Dog-friendliness: Enough space for a trained dog to run around or to walk. Picnic area: Could picnic on a table or the grassy area.

This park has basketball court, Barbecue grills, picnic tables, park benches, dog trails and a parking area. Play area slides , sit and spin, stand and spin, see-saw, climbing nets, spring riders are sturdy and super strong. My kids had a great time at this park. There are no restrooms at this park. We had to drive to near by shops / gas stations for restrooms.

While it looks good. The bridge is asking for toddlers to fall through. Every parent was standing under the bridge just waiting for it to happen. The floor of bridge is platforms space perfectly for a small toddler to have trouble getting across and fall between and there are only 3 veritcle ropes over a 12-15 foot span for side supports. Basically anyone can fall out the side of the bridge as well. Playground is beautiful, but some safety precautions should be taken. For anyone that says, well dont let your toddler on that area, you clearly dont have kids.

The wood chips on the play ground need to be replaced with a safer material. I had a splinter go through the sole of my shoe into my foot. So glad it wasn t my 2 year old or someone else s child. It s also very difficult to get in touch with Parks and Rec in a timely manner. The city of Dallas makes too much money to have to wait 7 days to speak with someone. Call the parks and Rec number? Crickets. The park is cute though.

Used to really enjoy the playground here but the new upgrade is either too simple or too advance for my 3-4yr olds. Park is still beautiful and fun to explore. Perhaps when my kids are closer to 5 or six they might be able to enjoy the playground more.

Nice park in a great area of town. Little stream running through it, some good shade trees, fun playground area with swings for kids. Not a lot of parking but theres usually a spot or two left even during busy times. Porta potta in corner of parking lot, but otherwise no bathrooms. Trail connects up to White Rock Lake; not too far of a walk to get there.

Theres a lot of space here to run around and swing sets for kids to play on. Friendly neighborhood crowd. We actually had a picnic and some kids were throwing a football around. Another kid was practicing his batting with his Mom. I mean its kinda a wooded park. Lots of trees, a big enough pasture for kids to practice their plays. They do have a covered area with picnic tables set up beneath it too. Its not like a well manicured perfect St. Augustine green lush grass type of place though. Its more natural and theres even a stream which is super cool to walk over on the bridge. It IS accessible for the disabled. Has a ramp and sidewalks and etc. They have trash bins and its not messy. The swings and stuff are all on soft ground, bark mulch I believe. Kid friendly. Parent approved. Neighborhood park. Loved it would go again.
