Good and trustworthy childcare is difficult to find. After weeks of extensively and patiently searching for a childcare center that I can trust to keep my child safe and happy, I decided this might be the best fit for my 3 year old son. I was excited to transfer my son to a nice facility that seemed to be professional and personable. I called this daycare to kindly ask for their licensing number , which I innocently and naively referred to as a provider number - what a terrible mistake. I was met a repulsive attitude and questioning as if I was some sort of imposter. I heard obvious and plain bickering in the background of continued questioning and scrutiny. I explained 3 times that I needed this number to provide to CCMS as I would like to transfer my son; and need this information to fill out the transfer request. I work in technical support and I receive calls constantly where the customers are using the incorrect verbiage and there is a constant disconnect with terms that I am familiar with and they are not. Using context clues- which I clearly provided- I am able to decipher what the customer means and professionally and politely correct them in order to be as helpful as possible. Unfortunately- that was not the case. I figured after explaining myself multiple times that it would be obvious what I was asking for. Once I was fed up of being questioned for no reason, I asked to speak to the director. The Hispanic lady that I was speaking to on the phone LIED to me and told me that she was the director. How horrendously unprofessional. I eventually got to the director- who by then was infected with the contagious attitude from the previous lady. She corrects me and asks Do you understand why we are not able to give that number out ? As someone who runs a business, it is YOUR job to understand why I am upset, de-escalate the situation and perhaps apologize? Not the other way around. I am not stupid- but was treated as such. I do not care, in fact, I could not care less that you are about to go on vacation. You are there now, and you could have easily and peacefully taken the phone to sort out the situation in a professional manner. I am a mother, I am a potential paying customer. I am so glad this phone call happened, as I can now scratch this daycare off of my list and continue my search. I do want to mention the assistant director. She was amazing and truly the one who sold me on this daycare. Thank you for being so informative and professional. I can tell that she was a genuine and kind person who deserves her title and more. She is the only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of one. Please do not even respond to this review as you had a chance to correct this issue over the phone and decided not to do so. I am not interested.

Used words to describe my child like diva and drama queen but when asked how she s doing told by the director Cindy no news is good news. Next week being told they left my child unsupervised for a unspecified amount of time and was assaulted by another child. Never followed my child s allergy guide and continued to provide her with red dye 40 and HFC. New school describes my child as sweet and kind.

Little Tykes on Baker Blvd is the best daycare center and I would recommend it for anyone looking for one. They are always having activities for the children as well as family events. My son who is now 3 has been enrolled at this location since he was an infant. He loves his Trisha, Bridney, Mimi, and every other employee here. I can honestly say that everyone has provided the best care for him even when he is trying to find trouble to get into. I never have to worry about him while I am at work since I know the best of the best are caring and loving for my son like he was their own.

Both of my children have been going here one since she was 2 and the other since she was 6 weeks. Everyone here has been extremely nice and really caring. They treat our kids like Thier own and that comforts me to know our kids are safe and well taken care of.

The ONLY center I trust with my children. Since my two older children attended this center years ago, I was thrilled when I was told they had space for my baby. The open communication and the way that the teachers interact and love on those children, makes me feel comfortable leaving my child in their care and soooooo thankful for them. Thank you ladies for all that you do!

The absolute BEST childcare I could ever ask for. Little Tyke on Baker Blvd. has completely put my mind at ease when it comes to the safety and happiness of our son. They are sweet, friendly, and go above and beyond in all areas!!! 100/10 would recommend!!

My daughter has attended the Richland Hills branch of Little Tykes from the time she was 18mo until the present. She is currently in first grade and unfortunately attends a school this site doesnt pick-up at, so now we are only there for summers. My daughter has loved her time there and adores the adults there.

The staff is very nice and friendly. I love how they are patient with my 2 yr old as he is taking his time getting accustomed to attending daycare since June 2022. I have 2 teenagers that attended this location when they were toddlers, now I have my 5 year old and 2 year old there.

Both of my children attended Little Tyke Richland Hills. So many of the staff became our family and loved my kids as their own. We have laughed, cried and celebrated together. Im so thankful to have you all in my childrens life.

I have been at this same Little Tyke since my son was 2 1/2. He about to turn 9!! I also have a almost 4 year old there that has been there since birth lol!! There are 2 that have been there since I have. Trisha and Misty are like family!! They are amazing and love on my children and help me with every day mom things!! They are dedicated to say the least!! Thank you for taking care of my little mischievous boys!!!

I just had not 1 but 2 little tyke buses cut me off. One of them was so close I could only see the top half of the bus. Mind you I drive a 80,000 pound truck and had more that 140 space between me and traffic ahead so there was no excuse for child endangerment like that.

This daycare is great the director Trisha and staff are wonderful they are so helpful and caring! Also the lady over nutrition Natalie (might have spelled her name wrong Im sorry)is awesome she has such a great energy about her always making the kids feel welcomed! I highly recommend this daycare! I always call and they are quick to pick up the phone to give me updates on my child and also answer my questions! Thank yall soooo much!!!!

First off, I don t leave reviews unless they are extraordinary in nature. Little tykes Richland Hills has the best culture for growing young minds. It starts with Director Trisha who greets us every day and takes care of every concern no matter how small the incident and treats us with the most respect. My littles teacher is next. All of them have been great but one stands out the most. Miss Misty, who teaches the two year old bunch, loves these kids like her own and takes great care of my little. To her she is known as Mimi. Some days my little only gets out of bed and gets dressed without crying because we ask if she wants to go see Mimi and her whole attitude changes for the morning. This is something special and tells you a lot about how she treats these kids for them to WANT to be away from home with someone other than mom or dad or grandma etc. She deserves to be recognized and rewarded as she has made our life significantly easier and with peace of mind that comes with knowing you don t have to worry about the care you child receives. In closing, this facility rocks and if you have the chance to let your child attend. Do IT!

This center by far has been one of the best that I have placed my daughter and son in. When I came in to tour everyone was so kind. I am a single mom so providing for my daughter was a must. But, I needed her to be in care while I provide for her, my unborn son at the time and myself. My daughter immediately got her feet in and made the center her own. The love they had for her and my family was amazing. The director at the time was Mrs. Christy and she was amazing she worked with me and I was soon able to place my son in the care of their infant room staff. They truly were a blessing in nurturing him and being mommies outside of me. All of the staff is beyond what I can ask for. Mrs. Trisha is amazing she is the new center director, Mrs. Lorie is also just as amazing. If you all want a reliable family filled atmosphere this location is for you. I can t speak for everyone, but I know I can speak for myself and my kids. We love you all truly!!!

I have a 4year old & 2year old that started at Little Tyke in August 2018. My children and I absolutely love it! The teachers are so organized and are genuinely interested in how my kids learn. My 4 year old comes home excited to tell me what he learned with his teachers & my 2 year old is nearly potty trained and counting to 20 in both English and Spanish! Little Tyke Richland Hills is amazing!

This is a great place for your little ones! My child loves going to school and these wonderful women who teach her everyday have become a second family to us! They pour into her love, laughter, and education. It is so much more than a daycare-it s an extension of our home! We love Little Tykes Richland Hills!

I cant praise this team enough! We enrolled our son at Little Tykes in Richland Hills as an infant and absolutely loved it. They take the time to engage our family through various events and truly made our family feel like a part of theirs. We transitioned through several different rooms as our son was getting older, and the staff and leadership did an excellent job of making each transition exciting and fun! I firmly believe that the biggest part of our successful experience was the fact that these ladies were not just babysitters or daycare workers, but they are teachers who took the time and effort to partner with myself and my husband to develop our son intellectually, physically and socially. We love our Little Tykes family!

I took my 2 year old son here for his first daycare experience, after checking into 5 others. I thought it felt homey and they had the fewest state violations. I guess that doesn t make the teachers caring and fair. I started him out for half a day. He went all week and by Friday, he was creaming before we hit the door. I stayed outside the half door to his room for 40 minutes and the teacher NEVER comforted him or even acknowledged him until another parent (who had been in there the whole time) was leaving and told her I was there. Suddenly, my son quieted down. I m assuming because she knew I was there, she paid him attention. So, stupidly, I left. I went back after an hour because I couldn t quit thinkin about it and getting more & more angry. When I got back, my son was STILL crying and she was holding another little girl who wasn t & she had the nerve to tell me that she tried to teach the kids to self soothe . I call it neglect. I would never recommend this daycare to another parent (or at least the parent of a 2 year old). She s ruined the daycare experience for both of us. Now I m terrified to leave him anywhere and he has horrible separation anxiety.

My daughter started going to the Little Tykes on Baker Blvd. in March. I was a nervous wreck putting her in Daycare. The Director Christy assured me she would be well taken care of. I was worried only because my daughter who was not quite 2 yet had never been in that kind of setting and she was really shy and was afraid of new people. I am happy to say that my experience and my daughters experience have been amazing. I mean all the employees are very nice and genuinely caring, as it should be when you are in this field of work. I know they will save breakfast for my daughter if we are running a wee bit late. I love they have activities for the families. We attended the Garden Party and it was fun they had music, games, food and obstacles. I also like that my baby is always in a good mood when I pick her up. I feel at ease most definitely and my daughter has come out of her shell. My daughter who was painfully shy will say hi to anyone now and she is making friends, its like her second home. Oh!! I have also seen them clean the toys several times since going here. I love Little Tykes on Baker Blvd. I would recommend this location to anyone. I have had no issues with this location and love the fact we get a little report card (not really a report card) but it lets you know what and how much your child ate, his/her mood and if there is an incident you will be aware of it. I have not had any issues. Everyone here is amazing. Thank you so much to everyone at this location for being awesome and taking good care of my little one.

I brought my son to Little Tyke in Richland Hills after he had had a bad experience at his old daycare. Immediately the Director Christy was very warm, loving and concerned about making his transition easy. She moved him very quickly into the older 2s. Thats where we met Natalie, who was so so great with my son. He loved coming to the daycare everyday and i greatly appreciate the love and care everyone had for him. We had to leave due to location and we were incredibly sad. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

My Great-Grandson began attending Little Tykes Richland Hills in August. He was diagnosed with ASD and we were a little apprehensive of him being in a large class. Ms. Christy the Director eased our minds. Since he has been attending part time, (he attends Pre-K in the Afternoon) he has learned SO MUCH from his Teacher Ms. Denise! He can say the Pledge of Allegiance, sing Youre A Grand Old Flag, spell Red, Orange, now starting to draw, color and most of all, he gets along great with his Friends! This is amazing to both myself and my daughter who we both share custody of him. I cannot thank the Staff enough for working with our Little Guy! He is so excited to get up and go to Ms. Denises School as he calls it. He attends Public School and has not learned anything! He has learned all of the things he can do by attending Little Tykes RIchland Hills!! We have now withdrawn him from his Elementary School to attend FULL TIME Here! This is the Preschool TO Be!! I give them a 10 Thumbs UP!!

My daughter has been attending Little Tyke for 7 years and my toddler has been going since he was an infant. I absolutely love the staff for loving my babies while I work. You can tell they truly care about our kiddos and help tremendously with early development. Emma could spell all of her colors, sing her ABCs, read three and four letter words, and count to 20 before she started Kindergarten! Great fundamentals for manners and how to show kindness and be compassionate towards others is also obviously a big part of the structure there. Wouldnt go anywhere else! Best staff! Always smiling faces! Next best thing to home!!

I love Little Tykes! I have a five year old and a one year old currently enrolled. Both of them have been attending for about a year now. Miss Dee, Vanessa, and Brenda are the best in the the infant classroom. Mrs. Christie is the director and she is absolutely wonderful, along with Mrs. Laurie. If you are looking for a daycare, I highly recommend this one.

Our family loves Little Tyke. Both myself and my brother attended Richland Hills location years ago and both of my children have attended since six weeks old and are now 8 yrs old and 5 yrs old. The communication from staff to parent is awesome. I appreciate the time and effort each teacher takes to help my children. I drive out of my way to keep them in the daycare! Love them!!

Our center is hands down the best in town. We are all about the family. Every month we are involving our families in some kind of way. We just rented out the waterpark and had family night and it was a blast. We care and value our parents comments and concerns. Our staff is a family, many being here for long time, and we make a great team. So if you want a great place to bring your child come check us out!!!!

I love the group of ladies that I work with. I enjoy waking up every morning and seeing all the kids faces and interacting with them. My children attended this center before I became a full time employee, and I have never regretted the decision! OMG!! I love just about everything about my job. The loving staff for starters! The welcome I got when I started in February 2015. They all became Aunts and Sisters to me! My director is fantastic!! She strives for the best and she is an awesome leader. She ensures we have what we need to implement our daily activities and shes open to our ideas as well when planning our lesson plans. My level of respect went through the roof with my director when at the time in her life she suffered a loss in her family, even during her time of sorrow, she thought about us EVERYDAY during Teacher Appreciation week with little gifts and trinkets appreciating us for all the hard work! How awesome is that!!??While she was out...our Little Tyke Team came together and made sure that everything was done in the best interest of the center and for our families. I was so proud of my assistant director for stepping up and doing such a great job. I love my families. I love our bond. I love the fact that they trust me whole heartedly with their child everyday to teach them, love them, and help the grow into this super awesome person someday! I love the support we have all around. The monthly parent-teacher activities and the participation! Its just a fantastic place to be!! Its obvious Im a happy camper! (cheesy face) So without a doubt in my mind, I know for a sound FACT, that our families are happy, the children are happy, the staff is happy, and you would be happy here too when you come and enroll your child/children. Since iv e enrolled my kids i have had such a joy from our experience. I love it so much at Little Tykes off of Baker that i turned down a 3yr program through early head start with my infant because im content with his care right where he is and Baker st had Availability for both of my sons . We love Little Tyke! Our son enjoys the interaction with the staff there and we have a great working relationship with Christy, the location manager. They are very thorough when it comes to communicating his needs to us, and they keep a folder with all his growth milestones. The staff that works with our son have been there for many years and they seem to really love their jobs. I would consider this place an excellent value for any parent wanting a safe and nurturing environment for their child. They are big enough to serve you and small enough to know you.

As a first time mom who had been able to be a stay at home mom for the past year and a half, I was a wreck when it came time to put my daughter in daycare. Im so blessed to have found Little Tyke. The amazing director has great patience and their open door policy provides me a sense of comfort. My daughter loves school and adores her teacher! Would recommend this center a thousand times over.

My son has been attending Little Tyke since June 2014 and we love them! They are like family to us! He is always bringing home cute little crafts and I like that they keep us informed. His teachers are creative and you can tell that they really love what they do. Our 2 year old takes a while to warm up but he warmed up pretty quickly at Little Tyke. I am impressed with this facility, the price is hard to beat and the care he receives is high quality. I highly recommend Little Tyke!

We Love Little Tyke ! Weve recently had to go through several daycares and at each stop found that it took several weeks for our 3 year old to adjust. Not with Little Tyke in Richland Hills. Our daughter has loved it from day 1. Everyday she is presented with activities that challenge her, and enhances her development. The teachers care and is shows.
