Oh my goodness , the amount of times I stumbled here.. unplanned , unintentional, and had a grand time says it all. From the bartender , to the service of the food, the swift deliverance of the food , drinks affordable . The place to go to . Darts , smoke room, pool table , ping pong , events (karaoke night , bingo , mingle night , the list goes on) I would bring everyone here if I could .

Very cool place. First time here and played some darts. Will come back to play pool. It was in the afternoon and it was so quiet. The only way for music to be played was if you pay the juke box or if a song randomly came on. We asked about this and that is what we were told. There needs to be music on all the time even if someone is not playing.

Really like this spot and bring friends here for an easy hang. Plenty of pool tables that arent crowded together. Reasonable prices on food, drinks, and hourly pool table rate ($9/hr). Darts are free. Clean bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and attentive, even when its just one person running the whole floor. The customers are even friendly here; encouraging during bad karaoke lol Overall, just a good spot to hang out.

Food is okay. Lot of old Gold Crown tables. Mostly 8 foot tables but they have three 9 footers and two 10 foot snooker tables. The pocket angles suck. 5 inch pocket openings, so slow hit balls will rattle even when hit clean down a rail. Pockets need to be 4-1/2 to fix this problem. See pic from my home table for an example of a good pocket.

They have a man cave that allows smoking, darts and plenty of sports playing on the big screen TVs. Great place to hang out and chill. Staff was very rude, and they treated us like they were better than us. The regulars think they run the show there. They do not welcome newcomers. Dont even try going there. In response to the owners response: How does one person bringing one bottle of beer in (that was immediately and respectfully thrown away when asked) condone kicking out an entire party of 6? We were treated rudely and unfairly. We are brand new to the neighborhood and felt the entire interaction was motivated by something entirely different. I will leave it at that. We will never be back, and we will definitely be letting others know. Get your door guys in check. I have lived in New Orleans all my life. We know respectful bar culture. This was NOT it.

Feels like cheers in there. WAY bigger than it looks from the outside. TONS of pool tables and while I don t play, I hear they re high quality. Staff is on point. My gf and I got lunch at La Casita bakery next door and decided to stop in the den to check it out. The lady that greeted us at the door was very sweet and showed us around. They have numerous pool tables and darts, ping pong and arcade style games. I was surprised by how clean and organized the place was. Seems like it s run well. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the air, likely from the smoking room which is a closed off section of the establishment. We played a game of pool at a quarter table and left to go about our day. I d definitely come back if I m in the mood for games.

I love this place. Its easily the best pool hall in the area, in my opinion. I love everyone here, and Ive enjoyed every minute Ive spent here over the past year. That being said... My only complaint is that I just wish theyd adopt practice pricing for league players, i.e. discounted or free tables for league players looking to practice on certain days; like wizards does. I dont even like Wizards, but the fact they have free tables for league players certain days makes me wanna go there when I want a long practice session. I would love to make the BD my go-to place for practice, but Im kinda sinking money on just a couple hours of practice if Im not playing league, which makes me not wanna come here as often. Id even be fine with a subscription-based model where you pay a flat rate per year/month or something for table access whenever so I can get a good session in every now and then without worrying about a potential $40 bill for just practicing once for a little while. I dunno, maybe its a crazy idea, just a suggestion. Still love it here, and Ill be playing here for years to come. -Adam Newman

Terrible customer service. I asked to see manager on duty. The bar tenders that were supposedly in charge said they were in charge and neither of them tried to be courteous. Then the people assigning the pool table gave our table to their friends. Moved them after they made the mistake. I left didn t even want to be in that place at all after these 2 separate incidents. I am highly disappointed in theis pool hall. My husband and I went in to play pool and found that in four different tables that it was not level at all. When brought to the attention of the manager, Walker, we were confronted and rudely disregard. My husband and I did not expect any money in return and just to let management know of the quality of the tables that highly affected the games. I would like to let people know that this place does not care about their customers and their quality of of the tables. We pay a lot of money to play pool and love the game but I cannot discribes to you the disappointment I have had after the brief talk we had with management.

Several pool and snooker tables available. Boards are fairly maintained and the hanging lights are of great quality. Snooker sticks need upgrade. Excellent table side service by Elisa. Beer prices are fair. Chicken fingers with fries was excellent but Ooey-Gooey burger was horrendous. Dry, no flavor at all. I expected better for the price. Tap beer selection is limited to water beers namely miller lite bud lite. Get there earlier if you want the snooker table. Smoking room is separate and clean. Overall clean facility with plenty parking. Will go again.

One of the better halls around, 7,8,9,10 foot tables, ping pong, and darts, good beer prices and nice waitresses. Busy with pool leagues throughout the week so be prepared to wait if you come 7-9 o clock during week

I came here once before and gave it a pretty harsh review because it was a huge pool hall without any open tables available and their drinks were watered down. The management apologized/gave an excuse (on here) which convinced me to give them another shot, as I understand more than most how the service industry has suffered due to covid. My mistake. We did get to play pool this time, although without hand chalk or baby powder. Yes, thats right its a pool hall without any hand chalk despite supposedly hosting league players, which supposedly accounted for the lack of open tables last time. Figuring they maybe hid it behind the bar we asked a bartender who informed us that no, they dont have that and most people bring their own. LMAO. But at least they didnt water down my drink this time. Instead they gave me a double like I asked for but instead of doubling the whiskey (it was a Washington apple), they doubled the schnapps. Our waitress could not have been more eager to leave, telling us around 1:20 that we should wrap it up, after reluctantly taking our drink orders. She tried to discourage us from placing orders by telling us that they will call last call any minute now. However, I cant really blame her I too, was eager to leave and will not be returning.

This is a pool shooters Pool Hall. It has well kept 8 & 9 foot Olhausen tables well spaced to allow you to play without much interference. The food is above average for bar food. If it werent so far from home this would be my primary hang out.

The Billaird Den is exactly what you expect. Lots of pool tables. Lots of other games; darts, ping pong, a few arcades. Its a pleasant amount of dim inside. Theyve got insane drink specials/happy hour deals. Overall, if you want to play some games, drink some beer in a pretty relaxed vibe, then this is a solid spot.
