This review is for Pollos Asados Coyutla and not Taqueria Coyutla. I will be pointing out my view from my one visit yesterday, Monday, 23 September, 24. I had seen plenty of very enticing advertisements on TV, billboards, and radio. My wife and I had been looking forward to tasting the pollo asado, as advertised. Upon arrival, we thought it was closed because there wasnt a single car in the parking lot. In itself, thats a huge clue, but we were determined to give it a shot. We saw a ten piece special on the wall and immediately locked in on that with a two litter of Mansanita Sol Apple flavored soda. We were the only patrons for the duration of our visit. The waitress offered two bits of information. She said that that location was mostly a to go business, thus no patrons besides us. The other bit of information was that the chicken was delicious. Our food arrived quickly. Ten pieces leg and thiegh only of slightly warm and dry chicken, with very light condiment. It appeared that the chicken was cooked several hours prior to our arrival and left in a warmer til we fell victim. The ten pieces of chicken were accompanied by one sample serving of Mexican beans, a single plate of rice, and five small corn tortillas. I asked the waitress to confirm the number of tortillas, and she confirmed, Only five. The salsa was a tiny amount of very watered down, blended, fresh tomato. Now Ill describe the esthetics. Pieces of the wall were missing. The furniture was from the seventies, maybe eighties, and quite run down. The straw that broke the camels back was that the waitress never offered to bring more tortillas, sold or free. I was pretty clear that I needed more than five tortillas for ten pieces of chicken. It was easily one of my biggest disappointments in dining. Never again!

Food is delicious!!! They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and their menu is huge!!! They serve Mexican food, seafood, steak cuts, carnes asadas, tacos, lonches, burgers, sushi, vegetarian and light options, coffee, soft drinks, fruit aguas frescas, mimosas, micheladas, clamatos and so much more! service was fast and courteous and prices are very fare. Im on a wheelchair and they where very accommodating, theres parking and wheelchair access to the restaurant. Were absolutely coming back!!! Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: Theyre very accommodating

A dump of food and service, I asked for a suchi, they told me it had cucumber and tampico salad, it took too long, and there were no customers, and when they brought it to me I saw that it didnt have tampico salad, so I told the manager, a lady. She looked bad and told me that she didnt have it, but the employee told me thats why I had ordered it, otherwise I wouldnt have bought it. It was the employees mistake. I asked them for my money and they told me that the money would not be returned. I didnt even try anything. I left their wacala garbage there.

Very inviting walking into the restaurant n waitresses attentive. Ordered Huevos Rancheros n plate came back Tomato Watery n wasn t till I got home that I felt n got an upset stomach. Will never forget or go back there again. Sadly disappointed.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered one dish they were out of it, thats fine. Then I ordered another chicken enchiladas but instead they gave me cheese enchiladas with chicken on top. I sent it back because I dont like cheese. Then I ordered the beef soup. It was cold!!! I didnt complain and just ate it like that. Then they charged me for the food I sent back!! They said because it was already made! But it was their fault! I didnt want to argue so I just paid it and left. Never coming back again.

In a shady looking plaza that is in bad need of repairs! Saw a drug sale go down too once. The restaurant used to be La Carreta and still has much of the rustic western decor but is not kept up to the same standards. The food is reasonably priced and tastes good. I have been here 3 times and have ordered something different each time. Every time it tasted really good. The salsas are tasty and not too pica which is an issue with Laredo restaurants. The chips are oversized and a bit awkward but tasty.

I spoke on the phone to ask about an offer that I saw on a sign for 20 pieces of chicken for $20.99 and the person who answered, in a very bad mood, told me that with taxa it was 31.99, it seemed strange to me that he would come out to that and he told me that the promotion had already ended and I respectfully told him that there was still the sign outside with lights and big letters and that they should put the promotion schedule on the sign and he told me to go I dont know where and he hung up the phone on me.
