After passing By Tacos y Más for more than a year. I finally decided to stop by and give it a try. I got the Birria tacos and my husband got the steak tacos. I can honestly say they were amazing. The staff there are very friendly and the place is very clean will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

I was served over cooked eggs. This was the first and last time I come here. I now understand why the place is empty. Cheese in ranchero eggs is a no, no!!!! Much less yellow cheese. Are you freaking kidding me??? For a real breakfast with hand made tortillas better presentation portions and flavor go down the road to Cuquitas or La Paloma.

If you are looking for Authentic street tacos, this is not the place. Meat on tacos were cold first of all. The meats were not good at all. Everything we got was so bland and hard to eat. We seriously didnt enjoy anything. Even the tap water had a nasty taste to it. We took a few bites and trashed everything and went somewhere else. Waste of money.

Lovely little hole in the wall taco shop, authentic food with an friendly staff. The most popular food is the tacos but there are some hidden gems in the menu such as burritos, platters, alcoholic drinks, and desserts. They also have an array of salsas that will enhance your experience and transport you to a whole other world of flavor. 10/10 would definitely recommend

We were in the area and decided to stop and try it. We ordered and paid for our food and then the waitress asked if it was to go or for here. We told her for here and she said they were only doing to go because they were closing in 10 minutes. It was 9:30, and they closed at 10 per what online and the door said. I explained that we were 45 mins from home and we had a baby with us and that we really needed to eat there. She then said it was her boss that told her only to go orders after 9:30. We ordered our food before 9:30 so there shouldn t have been an issue. Maybe they should post online and on the door if they re not really open until 10. We were hungry and disappointed. We ended up cancelling our order and going somewhere else. Never again.

Absolutely the worst food i ve ever eaten. The Birria taco was good. The meat literally tasted like cleaning product. Every bite of Bistec and steak I literally gagged. The beans are straight out of a can. Sorry representation of the Latino community. Never eat here. Went to Taco bell instead to make up for tossing that dinner.

So the menu says a fountain drink comes with my meal and the manager refused to give it to me because my order is to go. Kind of a rip off. Its my first time here and last. Improved atmosphere since the remodel. Service is ok. You really want to eat here if you want good tacos for a decent price. My first time here having lunch and I want to say the flour tortilla shredded chicken taco very delicious I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that loves chicken like me, steak taco not fan of it did not like the taste had so much onions and tomatoes, and just three pieces of meat, the al pastor taco was good, the carnitas taco was delicious, the bistec taco was delicious as well, Now the plate, Birria tacos The rice and beans were delicious. The tacos were OK. They just needed to be a little crunchier. The tortilla was too soft. I m not a fan of corn tortilla. But in all, it s a great place to come and eat very good service very nice and clean environment Spanish and English-speaking employees, If I were to rate from one to 10 I would give them a 6. But for sure, I will be coming back to try something different

This is a go-to Mexican restaurant for me. I ve spent a lot of time in El Paso and also in Mexico and this place really holds up! I especially like the burrito here and I ll typically add shrimp into it. Each time Ive been in here, its been chill. The guy working at the register is pleasant and the food is brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Ive gotten food from here 4 times (3 times in the last 2 weeks), and everything was always delicious. This is the only spot where I would recommend the shrimp tacos. Literally the worst food for $50. I always go to the lower Greenville location and tried this location for the first time, and the food was actually terrible. I ordered over $70 worth of tacos. I ordered the fajita tacos with bell peppers, cheese and mushrooms. Instead, they gave me street tacos with nothing on it. I went to complain and the girl admitted she typed my order in incorrectly, but the manager didn t want to issue me a giftcard or refund for their mistake. She said she could offer me free chips and queso. She said she would take my number and talk to another manager and call me back. She never did. I went in to order lunch here before a doctor s appointment. There online pricing was different than the pricing in the store so they gave me the online price, but then they were very rude about it while I was waiting on my food and the manager actually raised his voice to me from across the restaurant. As soon as I got my food I left and told them I will be putting up a review about how they treat their customers. There was no need for them to speak to me that way it was all handled everything was done. They informed me that if you order online you re not allowed to eat in store. I ve never heard this rule ever in a restaurant before I order my lunch online all of the time and eat in the restaurant. The manager at this location is completely unprofessional, and the food was only half as good as any other Taco y mas I have been to. The vegetables in the quesadilla were raw! Who uses raw, onions and bell peppers in a quesadilla? I m very disappointed in the management here this location is filthy. No wonder it was completely dead when I win and during lunchtime Vegetarian options: The vegetarian quesadilla has run vegetables inside, and one had no veggies at all and hardly any cheese . It was like decided I wasn t worthy of getting the entire meal or service. that you normally get at taco y mas . I am very disappointed in the management here.

Tacos were okay, nothing to write home about but I would go back for more. The chips however were AWFUL. I am not picky but I had 2 chips and had to call it. Each bite after the first felt like a kid touching a hot stove. You know it s hot, but you did it anyways. They tasted either like a) they were cooked in burnt disgusting oil, or b) like they were dowsed in kerosene or bleach before serving. The weirdest thing ever as chips should be a no brainer. Stopped by one day between breakfast and lunch, so decided to get a mix of breakfast and lunch options. The bacon and egg taco was great, although the chorizo and egg one was pretty good. The Big D burrito was super filling and great value for price. The bean and cheese burrito was decent, I just wish it had more cheese. The salsa bar was fun, but as a total spice baby, the only one I could eat (and only in very SMALL amounts) was the chipotle salsa. Nice smokey flavor, but really easy to get too spicy for me. The quesobirria were pretty good for more street taco-y.

Thought it would ve been an authentic Mexican restaurant but it was more tex mex than anything. Tacos were stale, beans were cold, chicken did not taste like chicken yuck. Salsas we re ok, I ve tasted better. Cashier was being a smart butt with us!Wouldn t recommend going here

I ordered a torta Cubana and the bred was not the same on the picture that they are advertising in the restaurant, it was a bolillo bread not the telera bred , the one that is for the tortas. The taste was awful bread was breaking a lot. Shame on them

Worst food ever, tasted like rotten meat, the employees were lazy and rude. Get home nothing is what we ordered and the food smelled luke they had it cooked for 5 days before serving it. Will never go back and will never support another Mexican food taco or food restaurant ever again.

Several times I would get 3 Chorizo and egg breakfast tacos to go in the morning. 3 times they didnt put Chorizo on them. The first time I dismissed it. The second time I called and talked to the owner who said the next time I come in theyll give me 3 free and they did. The third time I called and talked to the owner again, but this time he said he would give me 6 breakfast tacos at no cost. I havent been back to collect because of the thought of what the cook might do if they got reprimanded and they know its me getting my 6 tacos. I wont be back.

This place is awesome and has the best customer service atitude Ive seen in years. I had a big order of tacos on another shop and that other taco shop cancelled it yesterday, just few minutes before midnight. When I called at 6:30 a.m. to Tacos y Mas, Luis assisted me and told me there was no problem preparing my 80 tacos and 40 churros order for 11:30 a.m. Even when I didnt make much sense, because was still sleepy and had a rough night, Luis was so patient and never went crazy on me . I explained to him that I just got a radiation treatment on benign tumor 9n my ear nerve next to my brain and was trying to cope with the situation and the stress that the cancelled order brought to me. The food was great, well served and exactly the way we asked for. Go support places like this one on Coit. I would give them a 100 if possible. Wish Luis and his coworkers the best. Blessings

Disgusting place to eat . The steak and the pastor were both gross and not edible . The tortilla was so hard . I had a freaking stomach ache after I ate it, as well as my coworkers . We all ate lunch from there & it was the worst tacos I ve ever tasted .

The service was not that great, and the tacos were not any better. This location is not even close to the quality of the Ross location that I normally visit. The tacos lacked flavor, and they substituted one of my shrimp tacos without telling me. Granted, it was subbed with another shrimp taco but it also had pineapple CHUNKS on it, and the shrimp was more yellow than the pineapple. I will not visit this location again.

The worst tacos I have ever had. Stay away from this place . I got a beef torta that was dry as hell literally with meat and lettuce ! The chicken taco was disgusting! It was boiled chicken! The kids cheese quesadilla was awful for 6.99! The corner store tacos are 1000000% better! My first time and will be last!

I love Mexican food and Quesadillas especially. Made my first and only trip to Taco Y Mas on 11/26/21 and I ve never tasted such bland and terrible food in my life. I ordered my quesadillas with steak and when I opened it up there was only a light scattering of ground hamburger. Nothing else! Tiny bit of cheese and a little pico de gallo on the side and that was it. Warning. The worse Mexican food and the highest price I ve ever paid for a quesadilla

My first and last time ever going to Tacos Y Mas. The hard tacos were terrible. Tasted like cardboard. Not to mention how overpriced they are! I ordered 3 tacos for $16 that came with a tablespoon amount of rice and beans. Save your money and go to Valeries off of the 75 near home depot.

Im not uber picky and rarely post reviews ..unless things were bad on some level or another , worthy of noting. This was one of those few times, more so bc they are a small-time name trying to make it for themselves. If youre going leaves impression , dont charge literally 9 bucks for the smallest tacos ever. I ordered 3 tacos, at 3 bucks a pop. I assure you , youre going to be left hungry...like REAL hungry after leaving..unless youree willing to spend 15 yo 20 bucks like another gentleman mentioned below. The salsa bar is the only thing it has going..2 breakfast tacos and a street taco (I ordered steak and received ground beef) , im still left hungry as heck..reading some of the reviews on the tangled steak meat w gristle, kind of glad I didnt receive my original order..these tacos are maybe worth 1.75 on a good day..most street taco joints charge about 2 dollars a pop, anything more and you should expect a bit more quantity. Dont expect it here

I dont do bad reviews often. These tacos were awful. Two of the three street tacos were half fat, big chunks of fat. The meat in the third taco was so tough I couldnt eat it. I asked for plenty of salsa and got none. No limes for the tacos. Queso was tasteless and bland. The Churros were good but it wasnt enough to make up for the poor food and service. Oak Lawn location is so much better. Never again at this location

Worse tacos ever?? I dont enjoy leaving a negative review, but as a small business owner, I have also have had bad days... so, here goes. I had lunch here two days ago. I bought 3 tacos and a bottle of water. It costs $16+ dollars and I added a $3 tip at the register. Thats important to know because i would not have added a tip otherwise. These were the worse tacos I have ever had at a restaurant! Literally I would have preferred Taco Bells soft tacos instead. I would describe these tacos as cookie cutter, unflavorful, assembly lined, and dry as loaf of bread. The vegetables were aged and not fresh. The salsa wasnt any better. For almost $20, I simply expected better! The staff brought the food out to the table, set it down and walked off. They didnt say, Here you go, Enjoy your lunch, Thank you for dining with us,... not a word.... I will try the restaurant again, because we all deserve second chances. Hopefully, next time will be a better experience. Management, please put some thought into how the brisket and chicken is stored while it is waiting to go into tacos. It was terribly dry.

Love the tacos here. Consistently good every time I come. Nice variety of flavors. I usually stick to the street tacos but they have other specialty tacos and burritos and all as well. Horchata is good too. Overall the place I come when I miss all the taquerias from back in San Diego.

Our food was sub-par to describe it generously. The meat was poorly prepared with no flavor and tasted pretty similar to cardboard. The avocado topping for one of the tacos was baked into the cheese of the beans, and they messed up the order. We received incomplete orders and were completely unimpressed with the food. This one is on the avoid list.
