Before you could stay until night on the boat after having paid, now you must leave before dark, due to the weather in the region sometimes it starts at 4:00 p.m. and time is short, they should have trash boots and public bathrooms.

People are friendly nice campground quiet during the day . At night or early in the morning it can get busy at times busy with the border patrol on the Rio Grande chasing migrants coming into the us

We love, love, LOVE Chimney Park! We go down to visit my grandpa who winters in the park. Its a clean facility with lots of things to do! They have an awesome heated pool and hot tub that is well maintained. We enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets over the Rio Grande River. Its fun to be able to look right into Mexico. The border patrol use the boat ramp to put their boats in and out, so youll see them often, but they are very friendly. Although its right on the river, the park feels very safe. (Especially with the border patrols presence.) The whole park is well maintained, and the chimney adds to the charm of the place. 10/10

I live here year round. Pleasant and quite even after all the Winter Texans have arrive. An enjoyable bunch of folks. Lots to do, Bingo & Poker-Friday night, not too mention all the other events. The lot spaces are varied, even the small size, I can fit both my cars and 29 RV. The Pool & Chacuzzi is heated in winter. Open all year round. Dont forget the amazing sunrises and the sunsets shine down on the Rio Grande River. This park is a river front truly it is a Resort.

Not a large park and only a few big rig friendly spots. The front of our RV was right at the edge of road. We had great difficulty getting into the spot cause of it s tight location. Luckily a very friendly park and we had lots of help. Clean with good events and on the Rio Grande. Border patrol have a good presence and not far from restaurants and groceries.

We have been here for almost two weeks and its a wonderful park. Everyone is friendly and the staff is super friendly. They keep the park very clean and today I used the laundry and was very impressed with the cost and the dryers dried everything for the 45 minutes for $1.00. WiFi at the clubhouse and a nice clean pool. If we are back in the area this is where well stay.

Very nice people. Was very quiet....other than the occasional border control helicopter. Plenty of activities. Internet is iffy at times. Many parks have this issue. None of them understand that I should be the only one allow to stream on three devices a once.

I am a happy return customer Buddy is just about the greatest guy!! and Wallena is such a sweetheart. Ive been going to the resort for over 5 years and must say, never had any bad experiences, I love the park since its conveniently located at the river the ramp is very well kept so it makes for and easy to launch the boat, the heated pool, the jacuzzi and the recreation center are all well keep and clean, beautiful views and at night you can see all the stars you guys got in me a fateful return customer for many years to come. I recommend this part and give it a 5 star rating!!!!! Thanks Guys Suave
