Shrimp BLT, except thats not what it was. I decided to try the Summer Special, which was the shrimp blt. They always have the freshest ingredients. The shrimp did not smell fishy and tasted fresh n great. They are always quick to fill your online order and I usually have no complaints. My only complaint today was that I did not get what I ordered. If you look at my salad, I actually got a mixture of the shrimp blt and the green goddess shrimp. My salad did not have: -bacon crumbles -bleu cheese -red onion -buttermilk dressing It had: -zucchini -corn -watermelon radish -green goddess dressing However, the strange combination was actually delicious, so I cant really complain. I wouldnt necessarily call it a screw up. lol

Hair in my food! I ordered the mango bowl, and to my disgust, there was hair in it. This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first time dining in with my family it was a good experience a tall Hispanic gentleman and an asian gentleman were great at getting out our food in time even when there s only 2 of them in the shift during a rush hour. The food wasn t anything special but The Hispanic gentleman had a great attitude to make up for it. But my recent pickup order was a complete disaster. The chicken was cold and dry. I tried calling the store, but the line didn t go through. I spent $16 on a bowl, and what I got was a pathetic excuse for a meal. When I went to the store to address the issue, the staff couldn t have cared less and ignored me entirely. The team had a terrible attitude, and a woman at the counter even gave me a side-eye! This is beyond unacceptable. I will be reporting this to the FDA. Thanks for ruining my meal!

VERY VERRY SLOW SERVICE. It said my order would be ready at 339. Its now 355 and my order isnt even started yet. They HAVE 1 employee on shift. This is unacceptable. I have never received this service at any other location. PLEASE fix this. 1 person cant service online orders and dine in customers. What is this, a sandwich for ants? Disappointing to order a whole sandwich for ~$20 and receive smol little piece. Even more shocking to think they sell the half of this little snack. Dont waste your time at this location. Ive been coming here since there grand opening, which was years ago. I literally live and work across the street and had to travel to the Walnut location just to receive good food and good customer service. My colleagues and I would have lunch here at least 3 to 4 days a week, but not anymore. The customer service at this location SUCKS . That crew doesnt care about how they prepare the food or their customers. Which explains the decline in business at this location. When you try to address your issue regarding the food, they will give you a bad attitude. And it is a waste of time talking to a manager because they are ALL friends & family and would rather tell you not to come back to the store instead of addressing the problem. Yes, I was told this as if I was the problem. I never got irate, was rude or disrespectful, but was told by the manager not to come back. I contacted the corporate office and was told that a gentleman by the name of Wade, who is the district manager, would contact me only to never be contacted, and it has been over a month. I hate this, but I no longer go to this establishment at ALL, no matter the location. This is why a fast food business such as Chic fil a is and has always been number 1 no matter how long their lines are. Its because they get it. They know good customer service goes along way. And good or bad can make or break a business. And I know for a fact that this location DOES NOT DO THE BUSINESS they once did.

Food is Very delicious and love the decor inside. I highly recommend the chicken ban mi sandwich, its so delicious. Also I have to figure out what dressing they use on the kids salad when you order the chicken plate from the kids menu. Its like some sort of balsamic dressing and its to die for. If they bottled it and sold it , Id buy 5 bottles ! Its delicious.

I thought I would finally try this place after years of not doing so. It wasn t worth the wait. The salmon was dry and rubbery, edible only because I slathered it in curry. The chicken thighs lacked flavor, and were made passable by the inclusion of mango as a side. There was literally no one dining in at 7 PM, and it just felt depressing in there. I don t think I ll be returning, as there are many fast-casual healthy options out there.

Ordered the Baja Blackened Chicken, but what I received is nothing like the photo on the menu. Chicken was not blackened, chicken was not on the bone, the chicken was served skinless & cut up. Nothing like what I wanted via the picture. The salad was ice cold like straight from the freezer. Ill never order this again and most likely wont ever be back. To make things worse, the bathroom had zero hand soap in the dispenser, like it was dry for days or weeks; which, always makes me uncomfortable, especially for a restaurant.

I usually get the Chicken Banh Mi, which is absolutely delicious.. however, it comes with a side of house chips that usually tend to taste like they are a week old. This actually sucks because I d much rather enjoy another side instead if they re almost inedible, but there are no substitutes available for this dish. UPDATE: This MM must be under new management because all those delicious flavors and high quality delivery of quality are BACK. I have been pleasantly surprised three times now a month or two a part. Please give this restaurant another try if you had a bad experience post covid. The restaurant was squeaky clean, the food was flavorful and fresh, and the service was personable and kind. They are worth another shot! Old Review Below This used to be mine as well as my family s very favorite places to eat. Nine times out of ten we d choose to eat at this MM. The food was so fresh, the flavors amazing, and the service so friendly and efficient. However, since Covid hit in 2020 and the business has slowly reopened to the capacity it is now the quality of the food, rate of service, and general flavors have been incredibly far from what they used to be ultimately very disappointing. After giving it 5-6 more tries this year we ve concluded it s another a Covid casualty and have taken our business elsewhere.

Hey, Ive been coming to Modern Market for ages and usually, everythings on point. But the other day, I had a bit of a mix up. Even after double checking my order, Caceres Denova gave me the wrong dish. When I flagged it, they tried to charge me for the extra side Id asked for, and there wasnt even an oops, my bad moment. Whats wild is I even left a tip, which I kinda wish I hadnt. Hoping it was just a one off, because Ive always loved the vibes here. Looking forward to smoother visits next time.

My order from here is wrong almost every time. They forget a staple ingredient from my favorite dish, it s literally IN THE NAME OF THE DISH and it s been missing all but one time I ve ordered. Went here a couple of months ago and the food was 10/10, just picked up the same order as months ago and it was horrible. The quinoa and rice was cold, the chicken was chopped (?) last time I ordered I got the whole thigh filet, on the menu picture it also shows the thigh filet. The way the plate was put together it could pass as someone s leftovers. For the amount that I m paying I would expect it to be higher quality. My boyfriend ordered the Salmon salad, and the radish was dry as if it had been left out for a while. The quality has gone down and the price has gone up, go figure. Won t be eating here again, I ll just take myself to Whole Foods.

For a long time I have enjoyed coming here, but I feel like lately the prices do not match inflation. Are used to be able to get a salad for $9.95, and now a salad that is pretty much equivalent cost $14.95. Same thing with their protein bowls. Me and my husband and son used to come here and be able to spend about $45 and now it s costing $65 or more each time we come. I believe in paying workers appropriately and I know they do, but at the same time I feel like the rise in prices does not match the rise in inflation. Furthermore they change their menu a lot and it can be quite inconsistent, easily made favorites that they have the ingredients for will be seasonal and suddenly unavailable. Great example is the ahi tuna nicquois. So sad this is gone. They will often be out of ingredients too. In addition when I order on the website they ve taken away options for extra toppings that are there and available; example i wanted to add extra avocado to my salad and now it just gives the option for avocado salsa and like 5 dressing options even though the salad comes with avocado and I am pretty sure they have more dressings. Not to mention the pizza oven is broken and who knows when theyre going to fix it. It didn t used to be like this. Please improve overall customer experience. On the other hand I will say that the food is very good when it is fresh, which is about 3/4 of a time. I like that it is ethically sourced and made from scratch. However occasionally I will get food that is clearly old and or order something where they don t have an ingredient that is essential and they don t tell you. I went tonight and they forgot to put my drink in the bag, which has happened before. I understand right now the supply chain is kind of difficult but at the same time I think some improvements need to be made as this establishment has a lot of potential, a year ago I would have rated it 5 stars, but now I just don t know what to expect when I get there.

This place has potential for sure, but they re highly inconsistent. I got the Thai Coconut Salad first time and I enjoyed it a lot. It was a big serving and lots of ingredients. I felt the 12 bucks was justified. However, second time, I got the Baja Blackened Chicken Salad and the Blueberry Pesto sandwich, which came with chips. The taste was fine but the chips were a bit stale, and I noticed some of the greens looked wilted. The lime they gave was also not pleasant looking at all and had no juice. Seems like they gave a used lime. Third time, I got the Smoky Chicken bowl and Thai coconut salad. It was laughable. The salad looked nothing like the first time I got it, and the smoky bowl was so tiny and underserved. I can understand why this place has low reviews by several individuals. Nobody wants stale chips, wilted greens, and being ripped off.

My husband and I came in for a quick bite. We should have kept driving. I ordered the Thai coconut salad. I love peanut sauce and Thai food. This is not it. It tasted like I was eating peanut butter. Agree with the posters who have said this place has gone down hill. Today we just ordered three chocolate chip cookies. It wasnt even early, it was past 11.. total lunch time.... The cookies were BASICALLY frozen. Like... why sell them like that? We tried putting them in the microwave for 10 seconds and they completely turned to mush.. like they werent all of the way cooked and just frozen. It was disgusting. They went into the trash... Since there is no direct line to the store, there was no opportunity to make it right (the random number just takes you to a bunch of options and none of them are problems with order). Tofu protein bowl is life! Their roasted veggies and mashed potatoes are the perfect sides - I can say it confidently after having come back several times to make sure. Despite dealing with staffing issues (like nearly every other establishment) the wait is always well worth it. Come in when you ve got time to enjoy a very delicious and well-rounded meal!

Never eaten here before. Ordered one of the bowls, with herb chicken. Wholly smokes....not sure what spices were on it but my mouth was on fire! I dont like spicy, so really was not ready for that! Scraped off the stuff they put on top, thought that might be the cause for the spice. Got better but my first image of herb chicken is not tongue on fire spicy chicken. So be warned!! Other than that, employees were friendly and helpful and place was clean.

The only reason Im even giving this place 2 stars is because of th salad. It was amazing. The salmon on the other hand seemed like it had been sitting out under a heat lamp for the last 4 hours. It was dried out and tuff. My wifes steak was also over done and dried out. The steak was rubbery, and had 0 flavor. Seemed like it had just been boiled in water and then left under a heat lamp.

I ordered online received an email confirmation with pick-up time. Drove to store and arrived 2 minutes after ready time. When I walked to the register a guy behind the counter looked up at me. I said pick up for... and he head nodded towards a lady filling napkins. She said order here to where some folks were milling about. I told her I ordered online and she mumbled yeah. After a while I walked out to my car where my kids were waiting. I could see the counter from where I was parked so I went in every time an ordered was placed on the counter. After 4 trips back inside I asked why my order was taking so long. The mumble lady then pointed at the counter and said did you ask them? I told her no and asked a lady in the kitchen who looked at an Uber Eats bag that had been on the counter then told me she called my order long ago and someone picked it up. I asked who was in charge and mumbles pointed back at the lady I was talking to. She then says she cant give me a refund because I ordered online. No apology, no offer to make the food for me. So I qualified her statement and asked, so I cant get food or my money back? She then says you can get your money back but you have to call (no offer of a number to call) and stares at me blankly.

Poor customer service and false ingredient information: I ordered the Blackened Chicken Mango bowl to go. Being pregnant, the avocado indicated on the website was key for ordering to balance the sweet and spice of this meal. No avocado was in the bowl. I called to see what could be done to resolve this situation and reached a call center that handles all calls for the store. The woman who answered indicated that avocado is not included on the ingredient list of this bowl. Contrary to what is indicated on their online ordering system I suppose. Her solution after I asked how theyd mitigate this was to: give you back your $2 reward that you used. Really? The bowl itself is over powered by the sauce on the chicken thighs. Since the company is unaware of what is in each dish and online is labeled incorrectly, this is a risk for anyone from an allergy perspective.

Total disappointment. The salmon was hard, not fresh, overcooked and dry. I asked for another salmon thats was less dry. They said it would take 10 min. After 10 min and watching the ladies behind the counter just talking, I asked how much longer. The gentleman that was helping me asked the ladies and clearly by the reaction on there face , they forgot. The gentleman came back and said it will take another 5 min. I try to like this place but it just doesn t work out. We have gone here off and on for a few years now. Inconsistency is always an issue and quality of food is all over the place. I just ordered a build your own salad that was full of brown lettuce, brown raddish, and soggy strawberries that were translucent. We have gone through so many phases of refusing to come back and we did this time for convenience and it s regrettable. I am hoping this food is safe. I will also say we have seen them on two different occasions go from unloading trash cans directly to preparing food with no gloves or hand washing. Please see photos of salad. If you are open until 9 then continue to provide customer service and iced tea until you are closed. We ordered our food a few minutes after 8 and went for refills at about 8:40 and found no more tea. ( they had already poured out all the tea and tore the tea machine down.) They bring out your order on a tray and I know its supposed to be farm to table fresh but the seared ahi salad smelled funky like it wasnt fresh at all and the tray they brought my food on was gross. I always opt for Modern market when Im bored to cook at home and am looking for a healthy and filling meal. My favorite dish is their Buddha bowl. I also order their roasted garlic mashed potatoes to satisfy my carb cravings! Its a vibrant space so dining in is also a pleasant experience. Ive observed a couple of times that the serving size in their take out order is a bit lesser than the dine-in order. It would be great if they can improve on that, otherwise I love them!
