I came here because of the Christmas event I went on to the playground With my cousin And it was extremely wobbly... Well, Probably not that wobbly But still quite wobbly! Playground: Terrible, It needs to be redone! Toilets: Theyre stinky. All park bathrooms are stinky except the ones at celebration park in Allen. Dog-friendliness: I think Ive seen dogs here. Picnic area: There definitely is one.

The softball fields need work as the batter boxes have too much loose dirt and are begging for someone to be injured. Move Thursday nights from Heights and work on the sprinkler system and cracks in the outfield. Not sure which commissioner banned play on the 2nd field, but I hope theyve lost their job. Its one thing to overprotect the playground, but to not fix the problem is civilly irresponsible.

The park is for young kids and usually there is a icecream truck nearby but if your lookoking here for a cookout there is plenty of flies usually swarming the food so try to find a solution for it also has a tennis court but anyways a great place.

An excellent public tennis center with well groomed courts and a fantastic pro shop with stringing services. Staff is friendly and helpful, large selection of gear. Playground area is also excellent, and right outside the courts for players with kids. Highly recommend for any tennis players in the area. Standard (low) court fees and reasonable racket service fees with a quick turnaround.

This review pertains to the tennis center, but Im sure the park is good as well. They have good courts here, priced okay, and the shaded seats between the courts is a literal game changer during a TX summer. I didnt catch his name but the man working in the pro shop was super cool. Great personality. This was on a Saturday morning/afternoon two weeks ago. A+ for tennis.

For the most part is clean. Usually have a lot of activities for families, free at that. A duck pond, playground, tennis courts, soccer field, & even a rec center. Just missing an outdoor basketball court. Plenty of parking. Nice long walking trail. Plenty of benches for resting. Playground: Cool playground, could use a cleaning, but has swings to rock climbing. An area for toddlers & an area for older kids. Toilets: Decent, Plenty of toilet paper, running water, & soap.

Went on a Sunday with my 2yr old there was a lot of families and out and plenty to do for kids of all ages. Every one was such a community with watching out for each other s kids and introducing themselves overall a nice park to enjoy if you have kids and want them to get some outdoor time and mingle with other kids. Santas Village around Christmas time is adorable. It isnt crazy large which is great for kiddos that cant be up late or adults that dont want to spend all evening outside freezing. They have cute little buildings for kids to look inside to get a glimpse of the north pole. We had no parking issues and found it without a problem, but we did go about 8pm. They have a picnic area/ playground but we went to get out of the house and take some candid Christmas photos. Next time I will take my puppy.

I was at Huffines Park earlier today. I walk a few miles several times a week; then always take a restroom break. The restrooms were locked for FREEZING WEATHER this morning! Yes, the temperature dropped 30 degrees from around 107 to 77, but it s not exactly freezing. This is beach weather! Who s the genius that made the executive decision to lock the restrooms on what THEIR idea of freezing weather is. BTW, it s going to be in the 80s and the 90s over the next 10 days. I seriously doubt the pipes are going to bust. That person does not deserve their job. A moron of the highest order; a prime candidate for a Darwin Award Is it obvious that I have a low tolerance for stupidity.

It is a very nice park for a walk. Theres a good amount of birdlife and the water like ducks, swans, the typical crows, but I have also seen a couple of parrot types. The place can get muddy, and might be a challenge after it rains. The canopy from the trees, however, provides ample shade on a hot day. The nearby water cools things off too, I believe.
