This place is closed. For good, I guess. There s a huge dead Christmas tree just past the front doors so it appears they have been closed for some time. It s weird that it appears open online. We ended up going to the restaurant next door and I watched about 20 parties head straight for the entrance and then look confused as they tried to figure out how to get in and that it was empty inside.

They have tasty food and the atmosphere is decent. The service is not the best. I went during happy hour. Got 3 drinks for $7 during happy hour, a burger for $7 during happy hour and the fried pickles at regular price. Those items added up to $64 somehow. I reached out to them on fb and they never did anything to resolve my issue. This place was starting to be my favorite hangout spots and It was my 3rd time visiting within a 2 week span. I don t think ill be coming back. I feel robbed and don t know why they did nothing to solve my issue.

I never do Google reviews but I felt compelled to share my familys negative experience at this establishment. We read the ridiculous rules about kids prior to visiting, but thought we would try it anyways, due to the 75 cent margaritas. My son (2) was sitting quietly at our table while another little girl was on and off the stage and running around. My toddler sees this, and thinks it is okay to play on the stage as well. Therefore, he walks up there and steps on the stage and I am right behind him trying to get him down. A lady walks up to us and says, The sign says please stay off the stage. Im with one of the owners and she is freaking out. Keep in mind, this is while I am attempting to get him down, and also nothing was said to the other little girl who was up there first. This bothered me immensely. The owner cant speak for herself? The rules arent the same for everyone? We didnt order another thing and left immediately. It is definitely worth the drive to go to Katy Trail in Plano. The drinks and food are better, and your children can leave the confinements of a wooden picnic table without being reprimanded by strangers. Also, Desperados in Garland has marg specials on Wednesdays, and children can walk around there too, should they feel the need. Needless to say, we wont be back.

Chicken tenders are absolutely terrible!!!!! The menu says three Texas sized tenders, but I got two average sized tenders, & one extremely small tender. The couple sitting near us said wow, that chicken strip is extremely small. Drinks are good, atmosphere is very nice, but stay away from the chicken tenders. Anyone could see that these were small chicken tenders, yet they served them to us anyway. That means that they DO NOT CARE. So, we all said that we wont be coming back.

The manager was friendly and helpful. Looked like a great place to have kids playing. Burger was good--its heard to make a great burger I guess. The fries were yummy--not very crispy, next time Ill ask. The fried pickles and the home made green chili queso are great. BEER.. beer selection was good but not too craft oriented. Too loud, but were old.

What a great spot! This is definitely my favorite dog-friendly beer garden in Dallas! So much pup love everywhere! Besides a tasty local craft beer selection and the best happy hour, they have great food with several delicious vegetarian options (I would highly recommend their mushroom sandwich)! Old 75 Beer Garden is a great place to watch live sports or enjoy live music. I hosted a smaller corporate event here (a group of coworkers and partners) and the staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be back for more! Vegetarian options: I had their delicious mushroom sandwich and fried pickles, would highly recommend both. Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate vegetarians and vegans.

I had an incredible dining experience at Old 75 Beer Garden, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Britney, our waitress. Her service was exceptional, and its a shame shes only available on Fridays and Saturdays. The drink recommendations were spot on - the hibiscus lemonade and Oktoberfest beer were both delightful choices. Britneys suggestion to add fried pickles to our burger order was a brilliant one, and it truly enhanced the meal. The food, from the burger to the salad, was absolutely delicious. The live band and music created a fantastic ambiance, making the evening even more memorable. Old 75 Beer Garden is a must-visit for anyone looking for a combination of great food, drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. I cant wait to return!

If the service doesn t improve, I hope this place closes and is reopened by a competent management.

I normally read reviews before going to a location. I thought with a 4.2 it cant be too bad. Unfortunately, it was. The music was great, even the atmosphere. My group just ordered drinks which took a long time to come out. As a matter of fact they forgot one of our drinks and we had to ask the bartender again. My cocktail was so watered down I couldnt taste the alcohol. We were approached twice with other peoples food and someone elses drink order. Due to how bad the customer service was my group went next door to Doghaus. Much better service and the food was always on point. I wanted to try the portobello mushroom burger since that is one of the vegan/vegetarian options, but maybe as takeout and I can give an update with another star. Management, PLEASE, get competent servers and a better service system. Its really hurting your business.

Didn t feel welcomed or valued at this place. Took too long to get a drink and Aimee(server) had a stank attitude and stank face the whole time. Some bald man named Kirk had no idea how to ensure customers satisfaction! He acted like he was the owner, but seemed more fitting to be a line cook. This place would get more star if they had management that could atleast handle the basics. I don t see this establishment lasting long!

This was the first time wed ever been to this place and we decided to show up as soon as they opened on a Sunday. Pretty much all seating here is outdoors, but they have fans and misters to make it more comfortable when its hot and they have heaters for when its cold. Unfortunately the restrooms are sweltering inside because there is no conditioned air inside (there is but they dont run it). All sandwiches and burgers are served on toasted bread-no ifs, ands, or buts. I got the portabello swiss burger with fries and my wife got the candied bacon and mad cheddar salad. She really liked her salad; I wouldve preferred mine be on a bun rather than toasted bread and another friend in my party mentioned a brioche bun for his chicken sandwich but the waitress said that its wonder bread only. The burger (sandwich) was good though, just a bit messy but still delicious. They have a good selection of draft beers and a full bar. Finally, we got the check for 2 people with the aforementioned food, 4 beers, and one mixed drink (mule) with a 20% tip was $96. Both entrée s were $18/ea. What Im getting at is i think it was a little on the pricey side for a lunch. In fact, they brought an extra beer in error that I didnt even order but they still charged me for it.

They are a welcomed addition to the area - actually kind of bummed I haven t been here sooner! My first impression was excellent. I was concerned it would feel like we re sitting in the middle of a parking lot, but have no fear, they did an excellent job setting up the space to completely hide that from view. Staff was very friendly and everything is digital off their tablets/phones from ordering to paying - makes everything a breeze. Food was pretty good. I d stick to the classic bar food items and apps, the healthy stuff is on there, but I wouldn t reach for it unless you get a starter or not very hungry - it s fine, just small and costly for what it is. Each staff member I engaged with was helpful and friendly. Large selection of drinks on tap, it s a full bar too so no worries if you re not into beer (like me). There is something for everyone. Live music was good, the artist did a good job engaging with the crowd and keeping things fun. I d return without hesitation. I d recommend checking it out! Kid-friendliness: We had two 1yo with us and the large grass area was great to take them over there to crawl/walk around.

Old 75 Beer Garden lacks nothing Great atmosphere! Great bartenders! Fantastic food! Music made me dance in my seat! You could still carry on a conversation with the music playing. This is important. The trees were beautiful. I ordered the Texas Chopped Cheese. The cheese was the right amount. The grilled onions gave it a sweetness, and the burger melt in your mouth on its Texas Toast. They asked if I wanted fries. I did. They were seasoned and when I used my Mayo/ketchup mix on them it was delightful! I ordered a Mocktail. Everyone else ordered drinks. I m not a big drinker. They did a good job on the fly in making something up. It came with a cherry and a slice of ORANGE! It was fruity and not too sweet. Perfect for a hot Texas day. I didn t feel left out when we were toasting to LoKos Jeep Club When you order, tell the staff you want Mayo/ketchup and ask for the fries fresh from the fryer. They only have the little ketchup/Mayo packets. I wanted more Mayo but I was hungry and they had to walk to the other bar to get more. I did have to ask for a fork and napkins. I also got to Be of Service at Old 75. They were having a old fashioned car wash to raise money for Alzheimer s. It was an amazing day. I met incredible people. Knowledgeable about what they were raising money for because they have been touched by the disease. Phenomenal People making what difference in the world they can. Meant the world to me. We washed and dried Jeeps, cars, SUV s and anything that came through the line. Kids had a blast and got ice cream all over them. Smiles all around. #Smiles #Service #Food #Go #Enjoy #LetsChangeTheWorld #Google #Texas #Plano #ORANGE! #BLUE! #LetsDoThis #LoKosJeepClub #LoKos #Lowco #Lowered #MiVida #MiFamilia #MiGente Dietary restrictions: They were on point when it came to my friends dairy allergy. Loved this in how they took care of her. Thank you. Kid-friendliness: They kids were the best part of the day watching them get ice cream all over them was amusing. They were ecstatic to have Sonic shaped ice cream. What a day!!!

All three times Ive been here Ive had a great experience. This third time was probably the best one so far. The server that helped me was training last time and immediately recognized me even though itd been three weeks since he saw me (it probably helped that I had a book both times ). He was very attentive to his section. Like previous times, the food was awesome. The pub club with avocado and the spicy Paloma will forever be my go to.

I have been 4 times and 3/4 time I have had a very poor experience with both the managers and the staff. The managers don t seem to care about the customers experience. My 3 year old daughter was dancing on the stage and they threatened to kick us out if she got on the stage again rather than explaining that they didn t want anyone on the stage. It was handled very poorly.

Awesome beer garden! Great food! Wonderful service! Plus, I really respect a bar that creates a relaxing atmosphere for adults. I m happy to see that children are allowed, but at this bar, they have a firm stance that children need to stay seated with their parents. There are too many establishments where parents are allowed to let their children run feral and treat a restaurant as a playground. We re looking forward to future visits with friends! P.S. They had great bar food vegetarian options too!

It s a cool bar. Their fans with mist actually make it enjoyable to sit outside during the summer. Food was good as well. My only complaint is that the music was too loud. We were screaming at each other for a while but eventually moved tables so we could talk to each other.

Good food, but bad service. The bar is understaffed, and waitstaff has no idea what theyre doing, when youre trying to get a drink and their lead bartender tells you to ask one of the waitress for a drink, because he is to busy to serve you? Really? And I told him I did tried 3 waitresses for the last 20 mins for a beer in a can, nope there are plenty of bars in town with better service.

Good idea in theory, but it ultimately will not survive in this area because it isn t family friendly. You get reprimanded if kids don t stay in their seats the whole time. Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to open this establishment in a part of DFW that is full of families and then act annoyed when families come. In response to their reply to me, you can see they do not want children present. Go to any brewery in Austin, they function and thrive because adults bring their kids. This business will not survive. Kid-friendliness: NOT kid friendly.

Treated my family and my sister in law s family poorly. Employee was creeping behind the white concrete steps/stands and watching our children jumping on the first level step to the stands. We thought he was a creepy bystander but after twenty minutes he came over and told us to leave that area. I was giving piggy back rides at that time. No one was near us and we weren t doing anything dangerous or disruptive. My friends had a similar experience but on the adults only section of the garden. I guess they normally put a rope up to signify adults only which is just corn hole and jenga but they were kicked out as well. The food took an hour and a half to come out (two kids chicken strip orders and one adult burger) so the requirement that children remain in their seats the whole time is ridiculous until the service improves. No adult, nevertheless a child, wants to sit that long waiting. I did see two other families leaving at the same time as ours and we all shared similar experiences. If you have a family or are on a tight timeline, dont go here.

Love the atmosphere, great food and drinks, with good prices! Very excited to have this as an addition to the neighborhood! However, if coming with a group of adults would highly recommend coming after 8pm when it is 21+. On a Saturday evening there were multiple kids climbing/pulling on trees, throwing rocks onto ping pong tables, and climbing on top of tables unsupervised. As this is a beer garden, we wished the child supervision rules were a little more enforced. Will definitely be coming back though!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Great atmosphere, especially with summer coming up. Food is amazing, staff is friendly, service is great and drinks are A+! The only thing is, I am glad they have a no kids after 8pm rule. I love kiddos but I have noticed on several visits that kids are running around, throwing rocks, climbing on areas of the property that are NOT meant to be climbed on, etc. Obviously there are games provided, such as the ping pong table and a grass area away from the tables they can hang out at but at the end of the day we have to remember that this is not a playground or a park....its a bar. Based on all the negative comments I am seeing about kids not being allowed to get up from their seats I believe the owners are simply asking that kids remain respectful of the property and treat it as though it is their own home. Running and weaving between tables can not only cause them to get hurt but can hurt a servers as well who are running around getting orders out to people. Not to mention the money that is likely being spent on things kids have broken in the past since opening. Would you want others coming into your home and start running around like crazy, climb on things, breaking things, etc? No, probs not.... common sense yall lol I have been to places like Katy Trail ice House and have NEVER seen kids running around disrespecting the property the way I do here.

The second I walked in, I knew this would be my boyfriend & I s new spot. I immediately showed him pictures and he came 2 days later. It has Katy ice House vibes, without the pretentious vibes and much better. Staff is friendly and willing to answer questions. Food & drinks are great and fast! Love it!
